Great service, and even better food! Showed our out-of-town guests a wonderful dining experience. Everyone loved the food...including the 3-yr old!! 😊
Thanks again for a great evening!
They were out of the short rib which was really disappointed. Otherwise it was fantastic
Good food although no one in my party tried it. I would go back to give it a try.
I typically like the food a lot. This time my soup was not hot but my entree was excellent.
Was there for Sunday Brunch. Food was cold and the employees didn’t seem to care about service. They all looked hungover. Terrible place for Sunday brunch. Not worth the price- at all. Will never go back.
Food was amazing. Great value. Wonderful atmosphere.
Overpriced for the portions. French onion soup was greasy and hamburger was thin. McDonald's and Burger King King hamburger size portions are bigger. The Mac & Cheese was also a small portion for the price. The house salad was excellent.
The maple pepper bacon flatbread is amazing.
Service is fast and friendly.
Our waitress barely came to our table to see if we needed anything. Food was good.
Celebrating two birthdays with my family.
The chicken cajun pasta had no taste just spice. It needed salt pepper garlic , something
I would like to give 5 stars because our server was amazing, but I was disappointed to learn that the website was wrong about Sunday Happy Hour. You shouldn’t advertise something you aren’t willing to follow through with. Website states 2-5 pm Happy Hour on Sundays. Turns out, it’s non-existent.
It’s so loud it was hard to hear each other talk. I don’t know if it’s because of the way the restaurant is set up, or if it’s because the customers are talking loud. The food was good and so was the service.
Reservations are only a suggested time, we waited 25 minutes past our reservation.
I have been here a few times and always great food and good service. I always get the meatloaf and it’s always the same. Service is good as well
We decided to grab lunch after a charity walk with my Young’s kids, parents and sister. We ordered beer, appetizers and lunch. The food came out quickly and everyone was happy with their choices. We will be back.
The service was great! The location is perfect for meeting up with colleagues.
Terrific service, but mediocre food...would not go back...too many other better options out there
Food as always is good. Service was slower than usual. Not happy that we were there during happy hour and was charged full price for items ordered.
We had a great night with good food the only compliant was our brownie dessert was too hard to eat. Our server brought us new ones immediately. They were still pretty hard. No biggie. Our server was on point and very good to us. Will def xome back again.
Really enjoyed the beer, started with a sampler flight and had a tough time deciding which to get a big glass of. Had a serloin steak and it was cooked perfectly. The setting was a bit loud, but I would still return again.
Been to this restaurant many time. Always good. Great beer selections.
Great place to celebrate A birthday. Brunch was yummy! Service was great. The omelet cook made the best omelet ever!
Best $20 steak I’ve ever had. Parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus topped it off beautifully. Northern ale was good pairing.
If I had to identify one drawback, it would be the noise level. It is difficult to carry on a conversation.
But the staff is prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. The food is well prepared. And there is a good selection of craft beers from which to choose.
Overall, I will continue to return, and to recommend this business.
great service. I had a reservation for a large party. we were running late, they were able to save our table. they were able to put my cake away so it didnt melt. everyone was satisfied. Will def recommend and return!
Overall another great experience at Granite City. The beer & food is always good. We had to wait in line before being seated so it was busy & I was glad I made reservation through OpenTable so we were then seated immediately. Overall the service was good. Waiter forgot our waters so eventually my fiancé asked bartender as we were sitting close to bar then he came over & was more attentive but was very nice & not a big deal either way. There was an incident of 2 staff members arguing & being unprofessional at nearby cashier but thankfully didn’t last long & didn’t really affect our experience. I tried a seasonal beer this time paired with seasonal food item, and it was excellent. We will definitely return.
Many food options which is great but hard to decide since everything looks amazing. I went with Mauhi tacos!! Yum.
Our server was Ashley and she was very personable, professional and responsive. Wait times for drinks and food was perfect timing. There was no rushing us out the door and she checked back to ensure the food was to our satisfaction. The chicken and asparagus with linguini was perfectly proportioned and extremely tasty. I will definitely be back to patronize this business.
Burger cam out well done ordered rare server really could care less
Good food, service was good. Didn’t wait long. Will eat here again.
Good food, good service, good energy but loud. Hard to hold a conversation at peak times but good makes up for it.
Great service, food, and beerThe grilled salmon was cooked just right with broccolini
Food was Ok. Roast beef sandwich had a lot of fat and the pulled pork waffle was drowned BBQ sauce. Service was great.
Waiter was great. The salad was over-dressed. The flatbread wasn’t what it seemed in the menu!!
I loved the food and drinks. Most definitely would recommend this place to family and friends.
Food was good as usual with exception that 2 people ordered the fish and chips and it was cold
We had a reservation for 7:30. We waited until 8:15 for a table and finally left. Totally unorganized.
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary this weekend and we were over-the-top excited about the experience. Our server might have been the best we've ever had. She made outstanding recommendations for the flight of beers that we tasted as well as the tall beers that we ordered for dinner. She was very engaging, made us feel welcome, did not rush us, but was very efficient when it came time to pay the bill. The place was very busy as well, yet she was very poised. The bison burger was very good and the steak on the steak salad was FANTASTIC!! Our GPS goofed us up, and so were late for our reservations. However, it did not phase the greeter -- he checked us in and found us a table. We were not in a good mood and were quite hungry by the time we arrived, but left the restaurant completely turned around and in a great mood to get to a concert at Royal Oak Music Theater. I would highly recommend this pub and grill to ANYONE no what their mood!! A totally satisfying experience.
We had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time...not a big deal. But then was sat in the opening of the kitchen. Loud. Tons of people walking by and knocking our chairs. Floor dirty. Could see everything going on in kitchen and really didn’t want to. Asked to be moved...they said we’d have to get on the wait list again for another 20 minutes. Got up and left. Passed 5 empty tables away from the kitchen on the way out. We come here all the time and can’t believe the service was so horrible this time.
