Gulfstream - Kelowna
Catching the next big game? We have flat screen televisions in the bar area so you never miss a moment of your favourite team.
Whether you are meeting a business colleague or just out for the evening with the family, Gulfstream has a little something for everyone. During the warmer months, take advantage of our outdoor patio.
Great service, fabulous food plated with imagination. Caesar salad is not your usual plate of chopped romaine, but hearts of romaine, shaved Parmesan, crisp pancetta rounds and crusty basil infused croutons. My husband had braised beef which was excellent. I had perfectly cooked filet with melting foie gras garnish. So yummy. Highly recommended. Not your usual hotel restaurant. We will definitely return
Christmas Eve dinner... Last minute booking and everything was fantastic. Our host Braelynn was fantastic and so helpful. Made the night more enjoyable.
Not your typical hotel restaurant. Meals were very high quality. We appreciated the noise level being quiet and were able to enjoy a conversation while dining - most Kelowna restaurants are over the top loud.
Wait staff were friendly and attentive, bought our daughter complementary dessert for her birthday.
We will be back
I was pleasantly surprised at the food and service. The ambiance depends entirely on where you are seated I think.
Definitely worth trying out if you are wondering, I will return. Probably the best wings I ever had, you could tell the oil was fresh when they were cooked. We had ling cod and Cornish hen, both were delicious.
Excellent food and good service. Well priced. The carrot cake dessert is highly recommended!
It was our first time visiting this restaurant and really enjoyed the food. The restaurant itself was wide open and lots of seating. Staff was friendly.
This was a convenient location to meet friends. Service was prompt and friendly. My California eggs benny were tasty but a bit cold. My husband’s banana bread French toast was different and delicious. Lattes and coffee were excellent. We appreciated the quieter atmosphere than some restaurants.
Easy and plentiful parking. Great service and ambiance. My breakfast parfait was too sweet for me, but others might like it that way. It was served with a soup spoon, which is too large for me so I used my coffee spoon (these are the only negatives and very minor, so restaurant gets 5 stars!). Coffee terrific. Staff accommodating. I would recommend it and return.
My husband and myself have been to Gulfstream on many occasions and have always enjoyed it. The food is consistently good. We especially have enjoyed having Alec as our server a few times. He is engaging, attentive and all around a pleasure! We will definitely try to be seated in his section when he is there.
We had appy’s and drinks on the patio. The drinks were not very good. They were missing ingredients. The dinner we had in the restaurant was very good.
Food was GREAT. Wait staff fanominal. W got to sit snd visit without being rushed. Reccomend for wure.
Went during the latter part of happy hour and had the bruchetta flatbread which was very tasty. We both had burgers and the blue cheese one was outstanding, will definitely have again. Service was good. Love the bar area. Enjoyed our time and meal. Nicely located off the lobby of the hotel.
Good for a small group business meal. Nothing to complain about and fair value for the price.
Our server Thomas was excellent. He was not intrusive but made sure that everything was to our liking.
The meals were equally as good and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The restaurant staff was helpful, polite, and courteous. Kudos to all.
Went out to dinner with family prior to getting on a plane (hotel / restaurant are right across from airport). Excellent food, good atmosphere, great staff. I would highly recommend for any occasion, Happy hour and dinner especially.
Food was good but took over half hour to get our order taken.. we were told before we sat down kitchen was running behind. On a Friday only 2 servers. Meal
Took an hour after that to come to our table. Disappointed in long wait but server was good he was run off his feet
Bit of a let down, we thought based on the menu that there were some gems... not.
Good service and great meal made for a perfect place to take friends out that were visiting!
A surprisingly pleasant experience with very good food and service. Wine offerings were pleasing by the glass and bottle. A leisurely evening that enhanced an otherwise dreary 'airport hotel' stay.
Poor service. Slow to get greeted, slow to get food, slow to get billed. Manager on staff ended up settling our table and didn't ask how things were or any of the bare minimum customer service banter. Wasn't friendly at all. Dining room was almost empty, but the other table beside us was having an equally bad experience and I overheard them say it was terrible service. Brunch should take 2 hours!
We visited on Mothers Day the time we were there the restaurant did not seem overly busy but yet the wait for the food was
40-45 minutes when received it was tasty.
Overall the experience was quite nice.
Mother’s Day breakfast was lovely. Our eggs Bene was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. Only negative, and it’s not a biggie, is that the table got very crowded quickly with meals, tea, cups etc. Not sure that there is a solution for that.
They have the best fresh orange juice!
If you are looking for a quality meal in a calm and enjoyable venue, this is it. (Most Kelowna restaurants are extremely loud)
We will be back!
Been here a few times breakfast/ lunch /dinner. We have always enjoyed our meals. We went for Valentine dinner and choose the set menu for the occasion. Food was really good but felt that the serving between courses was rushed. Staff were very friendly and efficient .Overall our visit was satisfactory.
Great food and service ....a little noisy and lighting on some tables is way too bright like a daytime cafe
You can get something as dull as pizza or some very interesting and tasty entree selections. It’s got something for everyone in a clean and bright venue
I ordered my tenderloin steak med rare and it came well done. The server acknowledged that fact and apologized and a second steak that was cooked correctly was sent out. The manager also apologized and took the cost of meal off the bill which is more than I expected but is appreciated. Have eaten here before and has always been good so these things happen.
A little dark to see the menu but otherwise very good food and dining experiences
Very good service and attention. Everyone working was happy and relaxed and joking around. Enjoyed my time. Usually I have found the food very flavourful here. Unfortunately during this past experience, i found the salad flavourless, as if there was no dressing on it! Not sure what happened, but i will still come back.
The Bison meatballs were great as they were a course ground which made them to soak up the sauce. My wife's Salmon was done perfectly, not dried out and the veggies were good.
Overpriced for what you get
Reservations were not organized
Brunch menu, price and service not on par with other places in town, or out. Nothing highlighting the place as a brunch destination, or anything other than a hotel restaurant, a bit sad with all the big spenders living nearby.
Opportunity lost I'm afraid.
Great Mother's Day brunch. They had a complimentary dessert and gelato bar. A great place for accommodating larger groups!
Convenient to airport. Regular fare at a regular price.
I first made an online reservation. Then I followed up with a phone call I advised that it was our 33rd anniversary. Reservation request was for a table away from the entry and main traffic area. We were placed at a table near the entrance where there was a lot of traffic. There were not any options for other tables when we arrived. Staff service was excellent for the entire meal. My stuffed chicken was good flavor, but the chicken was small and a bit chewy and there were not enough vegetables. My wife's steak was over cooked. We understand that it was busy, but our food was below par. We have eaten here a few times before. Meals were great then. I guess this is a 'one off', but I wish is didn't happen on our Anniversary.
Overall, the ambiance was really good. The service was excellent.
Went for date night. Food was good. Service was ok. Seemed like our server got too busy as we ended up waiting about 20 mins to get our bill.
I am a frequent patron there and appreciate the lengths the serving staff, in the lounge and dining room, took to accommodate my menu requests. I also appreciate that they remember my menu selections (I seldom change what I order) and always do their best to find a table for me and my guest(s).
Everything was great in the restaurant including the food. I was driving my girlfriend to the airport and she wanted to take me to dinner beforehand. I suggested your restaurant as I've been there twice before for lunch and she had been as well. She thought it was a great idea as we would be in the neighbourhood of the airport as well and not have to worry about traffic. We both had the salt and pepper chicken wings and they were nice and crispy and delicious!
Try the Ciopino
We've dined here a couple of times before, but not impressed this time. Less than a week before Christmas and you'd never know it by the decor. Two wreaths, that's it. But we met friends here for dinner and were introduced to two different servers who said they were our server for the evening. Not sure what happened here. We're not given a wine list with our menus and had to wait quite awhile to see our server appear again, although we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our steaks dinners ( not cooked to our preference) weren't anything to rave about and unfortunately, we all commented that our vegetables were terribly over salted and steaks bland.
It wasn't bad...but underwhelming.
My wife and I and a friend had brunch at the GulfStream on Sunday. The service was prompt and the person waiting on us was personable. My meal and our guest's meal were very good, hot and presented nicely. However, my wife ordered the ham and poached eggs describing that she liked her poached eggs with the white well cooked, but the yellow soft. The girl said that was called medium. When the meal was delivered, it was well presented and looked great. The eggs were overcooked, and the hash browns were cool which was surprising as the other two meals were perfect. We did enjoy the restaurant but it would have been nice to have had 3 perfect meals. Glenn Eastman
