Great place with excellent meat. Probably the best beef carpaccio I ever had, perfectly cooked steak and a good matching of a Canadian wine. Service was superb thanks to the super nice waitress Olga.

We recently dined at Harbour 60 steakhouse in Toronto, a standby for its lush interior, prime location, convenient parking, and elegance. However, it fell short of expectations, leaving us all disappointed. The waiter, while not overly “friendly,” was very professional. However, the pacing was fast, almost rushed, affecting overall enjoyment. Despite a Monday and not being busy, the kitchen pushed the meal too quickly. Recent menu changes puzzled us, deviating from classic steakhouse offerings. If the new menu isn't appealing and well-executed, a return to the old menu is suggested. Disappointments started with the pasta special, not something we'd normally order, with an odd sauce and lacking chorizo or lobster chunks. It was sent back uneaten. The calamari, now too wet and less crunchy due to added veg and herb garnish, lost appeal with the removal of tentacle portions we've had there before. The chicken was dry from overcooking, with only a questionable sauce on the plate, and the $52 Wagyu burger was challenging to eat due to gristle and tough chunks, ending up in the garbage. Not all was lost; the Caesar salad stuck to the standby recipe, offering traditional flavors with the perfect touch of garlic. Mashed potatoes were a saving grace, with a creamy, rich texture adding a positive note. French fries were on point. Overall, $340 for two shared entrees and sides seemed exorbitant, especially with uneaten entrees. The lack of value for money was a significant disappointment, especially for a milestone birthday celebration. Recent menu and cooking method changes adversely affected the dining experience. While some dishes stood out positively, the overall experience didn't justify the high cost. A return to the old menu and cooking techniques seems warranted for the restaurant to regain its former appeal for us.

The food and the service at Harbour 60 are excellent however, the booming bass music and lots of baseball caps detract from the restaurant being a high end dining experience. The ambience is terrible.

This restaurant boasts of an upscale dining experience but fails in all aspects. For starters, there was a two hour time limit on a table we had reserved. Second, there was loud club music playing throughout the entire establishment. Third, we were seated inside a tent. Finally, the service was so poor that we couldn’t have even thought about dessert even if we had wanted to. The meal was expensive and bland. The wait staff unfriendly. There were 70 hostesses and not a single one could figure out how to get people seated. The restaurant desperately needs a dress code as some of the hostesses wore attire with exposed midriffs. All in an establishment that serves $100 steaks, $1500 bottles of wine, and the waiters are surprised when you’re not willing to spend $30 on appetizers, $150 on a main, and $50 on dessert. The greatest insult was by far the $20 “campfire s’mores”. Don’t waste your time here.

Food was delicious, 4 of us ordered entrees, it was actually too much. I would recommend ordering a larger steak and have it sliced up to share so you can try a couple of different entrees. The cheese salsa they give you is amazing, this comes with the bread basket along with some feta and olives (complimentary). We ordered 3 sides, I would order 2 next time. Definitely get the Mac and cheese, so good. Definitely would go back again but now we know what and how to order next time.

The service was amazing but when I recieved my bill 500.00 dollars for three people for dinner I was shocked I had 1/2 salads my friends shared a salad we each had an entree which could have easy fed three more people… we had no alcoholic beverages. Everything was good but not wow! . I would rather have been served a normal portion and paid half! Also the smallest tip suggested was 22 percent….. the service was great but 22 percent of 500 was too much!

Service was very good, including the wine recommendation. The dessert was very good, however we were very disappointed with the main dish. We were told that this restaurant doesn’t rest it’s steaks after they are cooked, and unfortunately this shows with the fact that the steak was dry and most of the juice flowed out onto the serving dish. The sides were also somewhat disappointing and the fries were soggy and not crispy. For the price paid we were disappointed.

Good food, but we were seated in a tent. Cocktails order took 30 minutes but after that service was very good. Not sure the value is there- it isn’t on the same footing as Michael’s or Jacob however the pricing is similar.

We had a fantastic experience with this place. We arrived early, were seated early, and had an overall great experience. The staff was professional and on point. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have an excellent meal and experience.

I think there should be a rule at fine dining restaurants that restricts young children from watching cartoons on an iPad with the volume loud enough that I could hear it 2 tables away. Headphones or don't bring them to a place like Harbour 60.

$148 for a steak that was on the tough side and had very little flavour served with a sauce that tasted like it was out of a outdated package. Crab cake was good, and the roasted asparagus was very good. Cod also flavourful. But the ambience in the tent was disappointing and my view was the opening to where garbage was collected and managed. Was so looking forward thinking it would be on par with Jacobs. Not even close.

We really enjoyed our time and all options. The staff was exceptional. The girl who’s welcomed us also double checked our valet ticket. Nick was gracious enough to walk us through things to expect. Avoiding the Feta Cheese in the drink was a good call. We can’t wait to return soon.

The Food was amazing! The tent dining experience didn't detract from the evening at all. The wait staff was good...not great and we had a turn over in people and both were good. Music was a little loud to be able to sit and talk over a beautiful meal. Overall a good experience and we hope to return next time we're in Toronto and are hopeful the few hiccups we experienced will be gone which will make the evening even better. BTW....The Cheese Salsa...WOW!

We had made a reservation one week in advance expecting to be seated inside the restaurant. Instead we were placed in there outside setting under a tent. We were the only group in this area and the ambience was not at all worth the money you would typically spend here.

We ate in the main dining room and enjoyed the atmosphere. We went on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. Our serving staff were exceptional....attentive and helpful with choices. I chose the crab and lobster salad as an appetizer and it was delicious, but I brought home enough for a lunch roll which I will enjoy. My steak was perfectly cooked to pink and warm on the inside- medium, a large ribeye without the bone.

We went to celebrate my sons birthday but for such price you pay you expect food to be beyond your expectation. The food was OK but honestly there are far better restaurants with amazing menu and half the price. We won't be going back!

We are no strangers to fine dining across the world, but I mistakenly took my hard of hearing father and my mother with mobility issues on a Saturday night. We were initially seated in a heated tent area with loud music and a pervasive smell of cannabis. I let the hostess know how unacceptable I found this, and was told there were no other options. A few minutes later we were moved to a semi-private room upstairs where the hip hop music was quite loud still, but the other ambient aspects were more to our liking. We ordered a watermelon salad that was great, but I do feel the rest of the meal fell short. My husband felt the filet was “fine,” and my father said the ribeye was “ok.” The twice baked potatoes were VERY disappointing, as were the Brussels sprouts. My seafood dish and my mother’s risotto were similarly unremarkable. The best thing about the evening was the salad and the wine. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 30 OR ENJOY CONVERSATIONS OVER YOUR MEAL.

When we got in, we were waiting 10 minutes for the hostesses to seat us. They completely ignored us. When we got to the table the waiter took our order and went to his way. We didn’t get a bread board about 30 minutes in and then five minutes later our food comes and a half of our stuff is missing.
