Harbour Sixty Ratings and Reviews
Great service. Large portions. Great for dinner before heading to ACC.
excellent, as always it is well worth the 2.5 hours it takes us to get there
Had a fabulous dining experience after going to the theatre with friends. Service was impeccable as was our steak!
We had a private room located near the bar, so the music was quite loud which we didn't expect it to be. Atmosphere was dark and vibrant which is good for dates but we couldn't get good quality photos of the food.
We were in Toronto for a weekend getaway, and my husband suggested Harbour Sixty, as he’d heard it was great, and the menu looked yummy. We’re foodies, and Harbour Sixty didn’t disappoint. The service was wonderful; attentive without being obsequious. A knowledgeable sommelier was on hand to help wade through the voluminous wine list (there’s a table of contents).
My husband had the mammoth prawn cocktail, followed by a steak, which was cooked to perfection. I chose the Korean short ribs - one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The glaze was delicious and they practically melted in my mouth. I had the Chilean sea bass as my main. It was also fantastic - flaky and buttery, just as it should be. I wasn’t as wowed by my coconut cream pie, which I found a little lacking in flavour, but my husband’s crème brûlée was pretty perfect.
The reasons I knocked a point off for overall experience and atmosphere were the temperature (I was cold - in a sweater and slacks - as we were sitting by the window), and my chair, which was lovely and oversized, but too tall and my feet were dangling. I’m not a short person, so this seemed odd. Definitely minor, picky issues,. To be fair, we didn’t bring either to the staff’s attention, as the restaurant was full.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would go back again just for those short ribs. Amazing!
I like harbor 60..this time they crammed a table where it shouldn't have been..don't eat there unless guaranteed a booth..jost saying
It was my first time at Harbour Sixty, lunch on a Thursday and I would give the restaurant a 10 out of 10.
Amazing staff, very friendly but professional and every little detail was attended to.
Definitely going back for another visit
One of the best meals we have ever had. Outstanding. Definitely a must when we come back.
It looked like extra tables were placed in areas to maximize number of customers regardless of the ambiance. We were seated at one of those tables next to the waiters' desk and had too much movement next to us to enjoy dinner. We also could hear every conversation between the waiters complaining about particular customers. While the quality of food was good, the plating and appearance was adequate at best. For the prices on the menu, we expected a lot more than what we received in our experience.
Our two porterhouses were a bit overdone and a solid medium (not medium rare as requested) and underdone on the outside (not slightly charred like the Chicago style they say they specialize in).
The rapini was quite mushy and lacked flavour (as through it had been boiled rather than blanched and sautéed), so I recommend avoiding that as a side. The service was great, but overall the food was not as good in comparison to our last visit a few months ago.
Disappointed with overall experience as the food was nothing special
I was expecting a lot more for the food price
Definitely not the best steakhouse in the city not even close
Have reserved a table at this restaurant in the past and the dining area is spectacular. What OpenTable neglects to mention is that there are various seating areas. One is pretty much a dance club with music blasting in your ears the entire dinner. The table behind us decided that this was the type of establishment for a bunch of 10 year old kids who were yelling and screaming the entire night.
I would absolutely recommend NOT using OpenTable to book this restaurant, and instead just calling to get a proper reservation in the dining room.
I cannot thank you all at Harbour Sixty. The night was started there with three other girlfriends, we were happy to initially be the only table of women. The drinks were delicious and the food was incredible. Our thanks to Nick our waiter and the entire staff from hostesses to bus boys to wine steward etc.
We will be back.
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious fish and steak, excellent service but very pricey...beyond other high end restaurants I have dined in!
My husband and I had been wanting to try Harbour Sixty for awhile, so we figured our anniversary was as good a time as any as it seems like a "special occasion" type of place. It did not disappoint. We had a beautiful booth table and the Asst. Manager Amy came by to say hi. She could not have been nicer. We were poured complimentary champagne and were brought a complimentary appetizer of Tuna Tartare. We both order the filet and it was mouth-watering. Our server was fantastic and let us know ahead of time that their steaks are a bit bit thicker than other steakhouses so a regular medium rare would be more like a medium here at Harbour Sixty. We greatly appreciated this as we usually order medium rare but here ordered medium - which turned out perfect The sides were all delectable - we had the white truffle mac&cheese, buttermilk fried cauliflower (I could have eaten this all night), and the truffle fries. The service was wonderful and attentive the entire time. We it came time for dessert we both ordered one dessert but Amy and the server came out with a plate with three desserts on it and a candle and "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. It was the icing on the cake - literally. We had the Apple Beignets, Molten Chocolate Lava Cake, and the Coconut Cream Pie. Needless we to say, we took some home with us! All-in-all it was a great experience and they truly made us feel like they put an extra effort into making sure our celebratory dinner was exceptional. Missing accomplished! Once again, a special thank you to Amy who made sure we were well taken care of :)
First time dining there and I found it to be pleasant and delivered on great food and service. Loved the atmosphere and our waiter was knowledgeable and understood this was a business lunch and didn't interrupt often!
Memorable evening with friends. This was our first visit, definitively not our last. Food, wine, service, atmosphere.
My husband and I had a very enjoyable dinner last Sunday evening at Harbour Sixty: a romantic, beautiful table by a window, delicious foie gras, crab cake and cipollini onions, perfect steaks and excellent staff! A true 5 star restaurant!
My favourite restaurant! The food is always outstanding! Great service too.
Great steakhouse food and service is incredible best steakhouse in toronto by far! !!!
The food exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to be seated by the bar area with a more modern decor. Yes it was a little louder but what do you expect being close to a bar.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant ,, food was very good ,, the service is more than impeccable ,, valet services included ... Ill definitely be back shortly
Exceeded our expectations! The service was amazing! The food was excellent! It was the perfect choice to celebrate my partners birthday
Fabulous from start to finish!!!
Splendid ; but my fish was not exactly what I expected... not searing and disapointing taste
I had the truffle steak and eggs which is a 10oz prime tenderloin with one egg sunny side up and truffles. I asked for it medium but it was almost rare and didn’t bother finishing it because it seemed like too lean a cut for my liking. The sides are definitely amazing and the size of actual entrees -we ordered the lobster mashed and truffle Mac and cheese. The mashed is rich and a little too much salt for my liking but other than that, it’s delicious. The Mac and cheese pasta was cooked a perfect al dente and topped with a massive amount of cheese and the truffle oil is very abundant. Service was good -very friendly and helpful. The first table we sat at was in a dining area which was a little too intimate an environment for my associate and I so we asked to be moved to the gallery. The gallery was fairly noisy since it’s in front of the kitchen and by the bar where there were a tonne of Bay St suits drinking -we didn’t mind since it was brighter than the dining area. Overall it was ok but there are some other high end steak houses in the GTA that I would recommend to my friends, like Jacobs.
The mac and cheese is to die for! Love the grilled seafood, sea bass, scallops and rib steak. Service is excellent!
Great location in Toronto. Excellent menu selection. Friendly service.
Just a few of the girls treating ourselves with a night on the town. Harbour Sixty was recommended by one of the girls. We were seated in a nice booth. Tom was our server...he was GREAT! He really knows the menued items and made excellent suggestions. He worked it out so that we could try alot of the app's and sides by trimming the portion size and trust me the servings are generous 😊 Tom checked in on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Highlights include the Crabcake salad, Tempura Shrimp, Lobster Mash, Mac and Cheese and the Coconut Cream Pie for dessert. Make no mistake it's pricey but would definitely go back.
Still my fav. steak place. Sure it comes with a price tag but its only once (or twice) a year. Love it.
Our dinner was fabulous! We had a fantastic waiter and a great evening! Really like the dining room redo, so elegant yet modern.
A fantastic restaurant -- one of my favorite steak houses in the world. I was a regular patron when I was working in Toronto 13 years ago and, when business took me back to the city this week, I couldn't wait to visit the restaurant again. I am pleased to report it's still wonderful. Everything about the meal and experience is exceptional.
Very nice restaurant. Not worth the high prices.
We had a delicious meal near the bar at a high top, which we don’t mind, for our anniversary but about halfway through the meal, the staff started moving chairs and tables in and out of the bar area. By the time we finished our meal we felt like we were eating in a loading dock. Too bad because the food was delicious but the consideration for those dining was non existent. We left to have dessert and coffee elsewhere since the mood was ruined.
Won’t be back.
Dinner for 2, $500, I expected it would be pricey, so that's fine.
- Food was just ok
- Took forever to get the attention of the chatty waiter
- The seating/tables are very close to each other
- The decor is tacky, heard it used to be more refined like a country club, now its blue with white snake skin wallpaper.
- The patrons are pretentious and self absorbed and make it a point to let everyone around them how much money they made and what they recently bought.
This venue was a great experience with friends from Jackson, MS who claimed the filet mignon was the “best they’ve experienced”. A great location close to many TO attractions. Would recommend Harbour Sixty for any occasion.
Perfect service - exceptional food - Friendly staff
Wasn't really impressed with the atmosphere very loud was seated by the kitchen where chefs we're yelling out their order, found our waitress very rushe!! It was my first time and last time to be honest no even cared to as if we were there to celebrate an occasion or just a casual dinner, I had mentioned to the waitress that was our 18th year anniversary didn't seem to care...
Fabulous food. Excellent service. Outstanding wine list
I love the food there. Everyone were supper nice! One of my friend almost met her future husband there. We enjoyed the experience and the food tasted very good. I actually look forward of going again
