We had a group of students visiting DC and took them to Hard Rock Cafe. We had good food and great service. The only disappointing thing was that the place wasn't packed full of people, but that is more of a pandemic issue! Would recommend this to others!
Excellent except we didn’t get silverware until after our appetizer was delivered, same time we got our dinner!
The food was overpriced and our order was not even right. The service was slow. They were out of A LOT of food. I was no impressed at all.
It’s terrible - food is awful, overpriced. Place is dirty and service is lacking. This is the saddest HC I have ever visited anywhere in the world and well below the standards of any other HC. I was excited to show my kids. It’s a shame, our nation’s Capital deserves better.
I asked for my drink to be changed as it was half full when I received it and it took 45 mins to return .. couldn't hear the server and the food wasn't great to say the 170 dollar bill was not worth it i was very disappointed in the service and the toilets were dirty
Such a fun place and tasty food! We had a great time, great service, and left with happy bellies!
Just didn’t feel like a hard rock
- very little artificial taste on the walls - nothing like London, Orlando etc
Wedding rehearsal dinner. However, music was surprisingly loud and for a party of 12, upstairs or semi private space would been more feasible. Supply chain challenges made a lot of menu choices unavailable: steak, salmon, onion, etc. waiter did discount us for the food inconvenience.
Food was okay. Small menu. Not many choices. Loved the music.
The Hard Rock is not what I remember. The service was great, but the overall ambiance and food was not. The restaurant seemed tired and empty and not worth overpaying for burgers.
The food was awesome. Server was great. He could have check on our drinks more often.
Fun time with my 9 yr old son who loves music and history
Josh, our waiter, was great! All the staff were friendly and helpful.
We reserved with outdoor seating on OpenTable. I got a call that day confirming my reservation, and I mentioned it was outdoor, and the person seemed surprised... they did NOT have that info from OpenTable. They hemmed and hawed for a couple seconds and then said yep I can do that- we have you covered! Then I show up and they say, we aren't doing outdoor seating and act like I am crazy thinking that we could. They clearly have all open tables outside. What a cluster- I always have terrible experiences with OpenTable and won't try Hard Rock again, either!! Reservations are made for a reason- no one seems to honor them!
Very cold! Service was good but very slow. Very noisy children!
Great place to grab a burger and listen to great music!
Excellent service! Our server was extremely friendly and accommodating. The manager was also really great as well. Food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back!
Shane, the manager, and Josh, our waiter were amazing. Making a reservation was simple and we were sat immediately. We will definitely go back on our next visit to D.C.
So service here was amazing thank you to the manager and our server Josh for all of their help
We had an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I went to Hard Rock Cafe before catching the DC United game. From start to finish the experience was the best we could have asked for! I would recommend coming here to anyone!
Good service good burger
We neglected to make reservations far enough ahead for some specific restaurants during our family vacation to DC, so jumped on open table to see what we could find last minute. Having three children, Hard Rock seemed like an option we all would enjoy. Our server was very friendly and attentive and made us feel so welcome. I wish I could remember his name to give a shout out, he was so nice. We ordered quickly and took a few minutes to browse the interesting memorabilia while our food was prepared. Our whole family, kids included, gave a thumbs up on our food. My burger was cooked perfectly. We ordered brownie sundaes for desert too, and they were huge and delicious! We would definitely bring our family back to Hard Rock should we return for another vacation.
The staff was amazing and every single person we came into contact was pleasant and helpful.
Great place to wind down after a day of walking. Our server Josh was amazing, helped with a spilled water and was so quick my 3 year old kept on asking “why are they so fast” and “that was fast”. Booked through the opentable reservation and was quickly sat down when we arrived. The food was delicious and came out warm and in a timely manner. The manager Shane also walked by and ensured that all guest were enjoying their experience. 10/10 would come again.
Food was good a little pricey. Our waiter Nick was wonderful.
As I usually try to do, I arrived early & sat at the bar while waiting on my reservation time. I ordered a dry martini & was served "something" that looked like rusty water. One sip & my suspicion was confirmed . . . the bartender had poured brine from his jar of olives into the drink. I wasn't surprised because his first response, after my ordering a dry martini, was to ask my Vodka preference. That tells a customer that the bartender isn't aware that a martini is made with Gin, unless the customer requested Vodka. This bartender also needs to brush up on the difference between a martini, dry martini, & dirty martini. I paid over $10.00 for a drink I had one sip out of.
I lived in the DC area for 30yr & moved away 10yr ago. I've been to this HRC many times over the years. Sadly, it has steadily over the years managed to loose it's charm & appeal. In my opinion this can be related to the lame excuse for music one hears when entering any HRC compared to what we could expect to hear when we walked into a HRC in the 80s.
I was also negatively impressed with apparent continued deterioration in decor / theme.
Excellent service, food was fresh and delicious, drinks were promptly refilled, overall great experience
Sadly the menu is smaller and food quality has dropped from before covid.
Very fun, service was great and food came really fast.
Service was the best ever. We had the best waiter (unfortunatelyI cannot remember his name). The staff were all friendly and fun! The host, Paul, was great! We even had to get our picture with him.
Nice location and restaurant.
Marquis was fantastic! One of the best waiters we have had in DC in some time
Highly recommend. Try to go on a weekday if you can manage it. We went for an early dinner/late lunch, and it was a great experience from start to end!
Loved it as always the food is delicious and staff are wonderful!!
We had a great experience at this location. We have been to multiple Hard Rock locations across the country and this experience was just as great. It was a little loud when we first arrived but nothing you wouldn’t expect while at a Hard Rock Cafe, it’s part of the experience. Our sever was great, very attentive, and the food was
I have been to many HR cafe's over the years and took my grandson and his friend to the one in DC. I was so excited to take them and talked about how good it would be for two days. The food was not good at all and the service was s-o s-l-o-w. Took us forever. I have never had an experience like this with you. I even wrote that it was for one of the boys birthdays when I made the reservation and they never mentioned his birthday. So disappointed.
Food was great.
