Great food and atmosphere - I would recommend for any occasion.
This was our first time together at Harper's Landing. My wife was there with coworkers a week before and she had an excellent time. July 10th was her birthday, so we decided to head back. Customer service was good, however our food was on the cold side and we waited a considerable amount of time for it. We had a great seat on the patio and the evening was warm. They seemed to be having issues with their cash system at check out and could not verify our purchase. We paid part gift card and part credit card and the system crashed. So leaving was a bit longer than expected. We love the restaurant and will definitely return!
The service was absolutely amazing. The good food was the bonus. The cream sauce on my pasta was easily changed to a light wine sauce. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her curry dinner. She didn’t like her choice of red wine. I was thrilled with my G&T. Made just the way I requested it. Pretty perfect.
Great brunch at harpers landing. They were very accommodating with seating since we had a baby with a stroller.
Service was attentive. I had to call their attention to place orders but that was our mistake because we didn’t tell he waitress we didn’t need to wait for the third-party to arrive. She checked on us frequently through out the meal.
My salmon eggs benny was good but they forgot to put the smoked salmon in it. I realized after I ate half of one egg. At that point I didn’t want to bother her for a new one. It still tasted good anyway. Their Caesars here are absolutely delicious. Perfect tang, spice and saltiness.
Food is nothing special. Much better options for cheaper if not around the same price.
Our server made this fun occasion even better - we had Pam, she was awesome - and Craig helped out too and he was great fun - it was a wonderful evening - flawless, I’d say - everyone from the front of house greeters to our servers were super friendly and accommodating and fun!
As a regular guest at Harpers today was one of worst dining experiences I have had. Despite the restaurant only being at 30 percent capacity we waited 65 minutes for our order of edamame, fish tacos and pizza. Pizza and edamame arrived stone cold. Fish tacos arrived 7 minutes after first two cold items. Waitress inattentive and seemed too busy chatting at bar to ask how our meal was. We asked 2 x for our bill from two different servers as we could not get her attention for 20 minutes after we finished eating. Never asked if we wanted another drink or dessert. Water glasses never refilled. Was 35 degrees out and we were on patio. Table was sticky and had food on it. Overall service biggest issue.
Food was amazing, service was very poor. Took very long for our drinks to arrive, Came for my friends birthday, they brought her birthday dessert very late, long the others dessert arrived. We wanted to eat our desserts all together. Took way to long to get the bill after.
Great experience here! came for a ladies lunch. i was asking my bridal party to be in my wedding. i called in advance to make sure i could drop off the gifts in advance . the staff was super accommodating. when i when we all arrived they were able to get us a spot on the patio. the entire atmosphere was beautiful . very clean. once seated i snuck away to grab the gifts i needed to quickly assemble a few things and scooted into a table where the manager was he was very social asked when the occasion was and offered some champagne to celebrate i explain one girl doesnt drink he said not a problem. we were served some champagne ( and a sparkling peach juice) on the house. that small gestures made our lunch that much more special. the food was amazing . over all it was a great lunch and i have already been raving about it to everyone i know . will be back here again very soon!
Great food and service
It’s always refreshing to dine at Harper’s... great tasting food and nice ambience.
We waited more than 45 min for our food. WE had to ask about it because our waitress did not check on us regularly. The food was tasty but some of it was cold and you could see it had been sitting on the plates for quite a while. We could also only order from the Brunch menu, at lunchtime on a Sunday. Seeing that it was Father’s Day, one would have expected the restaurant to be better prepared, as they were fully booked.
We just finished our food, paid and left, but while we were there about four other tables around us complained to the manager about slow service or other problems with the food. We will definitely not be going back there in the future.
Hostess was very slow seating us despite having a reservation and not very busy.
Getting first coffee was also extremely slow.
Menu is underwhelming and quality is just ok.
Birthday celebration. We made a reservation and got a booth table for 6.. which if you were having drinks would’ve been fine. When we asked to move to a table that was more comfortable... the waitress asked us if we’d be ready to leave in 1.5 hrs, since they had another reservation coming in... and if not, she would “I guess” change us from her area. Wasn’t a great experience.
They only have a limited brunch menu until 3 and I thought it was overpriced for what I had. This is my fourth time there but menu has really changed. Found it hard to find something that appealed to me, a lot of egg dishes and not a lot of true luncheon items,
First timer and loved the food and atmosphere. It is already my favorite go to place.
We've had good experiences here before, but this time, the food took forever and it was cold by the time it got to us :(
Great restaurant with good food, great choices for all palates, friendly staff. A lot of activity in the restaurant: birthdays , celebrations etc. A lively place to go,
We attended to celebrate Mother's Day and to try out the Brunch menu. The restaurant was quite full and we had some challenges with our meal (wrong order for one person and the ketchup dish took a nose dive when the waitress brought the food over - it landed all over her and one of our family members). Even my young nephew decided the spill proof cup needed testing and was successful in dumping his chocolate milk all over the table.
Its when the staff is tested with a not-so-great experience that makes a restaurant truly shine and stand out. They did everything they could to make it right - even the manager came over to extend his sympathies and shocked us with a discount we felt was more than needed. I congratulate the hard working staff to make it as perfect as possible - thank you! We came away with some great memories and intentions to come back.
Harpers is a great spot for lunch with friends. The food is consistent I love the fish tacos and the turkey burger. The atmosphere is up beat
Great ambiance good service, BUT the food is below par.
I had a simple tuna salad and it had zero flavour. It was un-seasoned with grains sprinkled on top.
I’ve had many meals there over the past few months and it hasn’t been good any of my visits.
Time for a new chef!
We sat on the patio beside the door leading to the parking lot. Multiple groups pushed passed us to use that door, interrupting our meal. There needs to be a sign saying it’s for emergency use only or the table needs to be moved.
Menu is in need of a change up. Not much has changed since the place opened. I have had better meals there. The Moroccan Chicken was just alright tonight. House salad was great. Sticky Toffee Pudding was great as always. Service was excellent. Sasha is a pro!
Great service and beer specials. Food on the other hand was quite average.
Server was excellent
Great dinning experience , our server was excellent, attentive and friendly. Thanks Wally
Great restaurant, good food, fun atmosphere.
The steak and frites are outstanding! I would come for that again. The noise level a bit too much, we like cozy quite and soft ambience. This time it was too loud! This was my first visit to Harpers Landing. I researched the menu and was disappointed that the time we came for noon was the time that there was brunch. No where on the website was it outlined that during 10-3 it is brunch. We were looking forward to pasta and of course the Steak frites, which at that time only came as steak and egg. Lucky for us they were able to accomodate this and gave us the steak frites as this is why we came to this particular restaurant to celebrate our son's achievements. Unfortunately we forget it was Easter weekend, and the noise and screams of babies were unbearable. Not that I do not love children but sometimes its just common sense to not bring kids to a restaurant meant for adults.
2nd time here for brunch and still had a great time. My friend doesn't eat pork and they have bacon in their gravy so the waitress was very accommodating and suggested to bring other types of sauces in place of their bacon gravy.
Have been here many times and always had great food and service. A few more vegetarian or vegan options would be nice though!
Trevor was amazing
It may be possible to lower the music a bit. We were in a booth so it wasn’t as bad as expected but the music is quite loud for conversation.
This was my fifth or sixth visit - always very happy with the food, service and can't wait for my next visit
We had a good night, the food was excellent. There was a small mixup with our appetizer but was corrected quickly. Once our food arrived we didn’t see our server for a while and it took a bit to get her attention for a water refill, but not that big of a deal. We do go here often, sometimes with a reservation others just a spur of the moment and they never disappoint.
$100 for two club sandwiches, one hamburger, two coffees, and one tea seemed expensive.
Great food the only complaint it was very noisy. Tvs were loud and the music had to heard over the tv. Way too much noise
First visit to Harpers Landing. Went for Dad's birthday dinner - all 3 of us ordered the steak and thought it was great. Will be back.
