Out waiter was professional, charming and funny. The food and drinks were excellent.

We had very poor service. We had to get up and ask for service after waiting approx. 10 minutes or more. Then we wanted another glass of wine but after waiting 15 minutes we flagged down another server to get our bill and we left.
Our own server was out and about on the floor but he just never bothered to check on us
The manager must have been aware that our service was poor and she offered us that other glass of wine. By then we were not willing to stay.
Excellent food and superb service. I was catching up with a couple of girlfriends that I hadn’t seen in a while and our server’s timing and attention were perfect all night. She was very personable, engaged and her menu recommendations were spot on.
So good!! We had two strollers with us, and the restaurant accommodated us no problem.
Food was good however a coat rack fell on one of my friends while holding her baby. We were only offered a dessert as an apology. Luckily it didn’t hit the baby, just my friend’s shoulder.
We were a party of 6, and arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately. However, the server did not acknowledge us or come to the table until we waved the manager to our table. This was a repetitive event the entire time we were there and have consistently received the same service each time I have been there. I think this was my last time going. For the amount of money spent, I expect better service.
Harpers Landing was recommended to us by a friend who had dined there before and we were happy that we went as we loved our experience. The staff that we encountered that night were friendly and when asked suggested items we should try. The food was great, the relaxed ambiance made our night more enjoyable. The music in the background also gave it a nice vibe. We would go back again.

This was our first time at Harpers Landing. Great atmosphere & excellent pasta...both the Bison Bolognese & the Ricotta Gnocchi.
Appetizer (calamari) was OK but not the best. Jakes in Burlington is far better. One dish (tenderloin) was really good, and despite the manager insisting otherwise, their portion control wasn’t spot on. Next table had better servings. Branzino dish left a lot to be desired. Noise level is high. I have tinnitus in one ear and the noise level really set it on kill! Overall value was just not there.

My only complaint was having to wait 10 minutes to order out food while the waitress ate from a customer's plate...very strange and unprofessional.

Great locations and Miranda is excellent but it’s time to hire a new chef. Food is bland and poor value for money. We have many friends in SE Oakville and this is the consensus.
Food was average. Service was poor - sat us at a table with a cold draft and when asked to be moved to one of the 8 open tables, we got the runaround. Took 15 mins to find a new table and over 30 mins to be asked for a drink order. Friday nights seems to have a higher priority in the bar crowd than the diners.
Everything was great. But the bar stools at the longer tables weren't great. The silver ones had tiny seats and backs. I'm not sure who can sit comfortably on them. Even the other ones weren't that comfortable. Besides that it was good.
We had a reservation for two. We were seated at a table for 4, right by the door on a cold night. We asked to be moved as there were so many people coming in and out and it was not pleasant. The hostess told my partner it could not be done as the other tables were reserved for regulars or for four people. It was a take it or leave it attitude. No offer to help at all. A few minutes later a couple came in and were shown to a table for four, that argument seemed kind of moot. My partner wanted to leave but I said let's try one more time. I spoke to our waitress and she got the manager who offered to find us a table which he did in the dining room. The service was excellent and the manager and managing partner did check in on us several times to make sure everything was fine. So the evening ended on a better note. I do love the Landing restaurants and have really enjoyed their hospitality. I am a regular at Kelley's and Jackson's in particular. But the attitude at the beginning was very off putting and something I have never experienced at the other Landings. It is also very noisy at this particular place. There are a lot of good restaurants in Oakville. I would go to those or the other Landings over this one even though I live not far from this Landing.
New Year’s Eve. Server was good but it was a bit chaotic given the occasion. Good drinks and great dessert- sticky toffee pudding. Food was good too but there was room for improvement. Nice photo point. Overall good experience
Had to switch tables and then they forgot about us! Waited about 45 minutes before someone came to serve us! Wally was great came and served us super quickly! Would definitely return!

We were expecting to eat Lobster and you guys were running out that product. Really disappointed.
Enjoyed brunch at Harper's Landing. Food was excellent and portion sizes were generous. The service was pleasant but a bit uneven as our server disappeared for about 10 minutes. Recommend it for a good Sunday brunch.
Server was attentive and efficient. Our food all came to the table at once, all orders (Even the modified ones) were correct. Tasty food. Did not feel rushed to leave after eating at all. Friday night level noise was to be expected and we enjoyed the music
Everyone’s meal was excellent. I had my favourite, Ahi tuna salad, and it didn’t disappoint. Noise level is a bit high for casual conversation but that is typical of restaurants with industrial design and hard surfaces.
I think the overall experience was fantastic. When sitting down , I do think the staff could have been more attentive at greeting and offering a beverage. It was 10 min before someone attended to us.
Otherwise it was great.
