Appetizer (calamari) was OK but not the best. Jakes in Burlington is far better. One dish (tenderloin) was really good, and despite the manager insisting otherwise, their portion control wasn’t spot on. Next table had better servings. Branzino dish left a lot to be desired. Noise level is high. I have tinnitus in one ear and the noise level really set it on kill! Overall value was just not there.
Great food. Great wine. And our server (middle eastern male) was fantastic!
Place was great, Amazing service, food was good, great looking restaurant.
Only complaint, Music is so loud it was hard to talk with guests,
Great place to go, no need for the music to be that loud
Third visit and not impressive.
Waiter forgot to enter our appetizer but got our meals quickly at peak.
My steak frites was awful. I should have sent it back but it was flavorless.
Service was mediocre because the waiter was busy.
$60 for all this experience, leaves you feeling unsatisfied.
One of the best "Steak Frites" I have had anywhere! Loved it!!
Excellent lunch experience; I highly recommend it.
Great locations and Miranda is excellent but it’s time to hire a new chef. Food is bland and poor value for money. We have many friends in SE Oakville and this is the consensus.
Food was average. Service was poor - sat us at a table with a cold draft and when asked to be moved to one of the 8 open tables, we got the runaround. Took 15 mins to find a new table and over 30 mins to be asked for a drink order. Friday nights seems to have a higher priority in the bar crowd than the diners.
Everything was great. But the bar stools at the longer tables weren't great. The silver ones had tiny seats and backs. I'm not sure who can sit comfortably on them. Even the other ones weren't that comfortable. Besides that it was good.
We had a reservation for two. We were seated at a table for 4, right by the door on a cold night. We asked to be moved as there were so many people coming in and out and it was not pleasant. The hostess told my partner it could not be done as the other tables were reserved for regulars or for four people. It was a take it or leave it attitude. No offer to help at all. A few minutes later a couple came in and were shown to a table for four, that argument seemed kind of moot. My partner wanted to leave but I said let's try one more time. I spoke to our waitress and she got the manager who offered to find us a table which he did in the dining room. The service was excellent and the manager and managing partner did check in on us several times to make sure everything was fine. So the evening ended on a better note. I do love the Landing restaurants and have really enjoyed their hospitality. I am a regular at Kelley's and Jackson's in particular. But the attitude at the beginning was very off putting and something I have never experienced at the other Landings. It is also very noisy at this particular place. There are a lot of good restaurants in Oakville. I would go to those or the other Landings over this one even though I live not far from this Landing.
New Year’s Eve. Server was good but it was a bit chaotic given the occasion. Good drinks and great dessert- sticky toffee pudding. Food was good too but there was room for improvement. Nice photo point. Overall good experience
Had to switch tables and then they forgot about us! Waited about 45 minutes before someone came to serve us! Wally was great came and served us super quickly! Would definitely return!
All good , fun place
We were expecting to eat Lobster and you guys were running out that product. Really disappointed.
Enjoyed brunch at Harper's Landing. Food was excellent and portion sizes were generous. The service was pleasant but a bit uneven as our server disappeared for about 10 minutes. Recommend it for a good Sunday brunch.
Server was attentive and efficient. Our food all came to the table at once, all orders (Even the modified ones) were correct. Tasty food. Did not feel rushed to leave after eating at all. Friday night level noise was to be expected and we enjoyed the music
Everyone’s meal was excellent. I had my favourite, Ahi tuna salad, and it didn’t disappoint. Noise level is a bit high for casual conversation but that is typical of restaurants with industrial design and hard surfaces.
I think the overall experience was fantastic. When sitting down , I do think the staff could have been more attentive at greeting and offering a beverage. It was 10 min before someone attended to us.
Otherwise it was great.
Food was great and our server, Paige was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Staff congregating at bar and loud laughing was unprofessional.
Great meal .. great atmosphere .. great service. One of our favourite places for dinner!!
Our server appeared to be in a hurry to get somewhere🤔
We were giving our entree choices and my sister was still perusing the appetizers.
The server was sliding the menu away from her while she was deciding on what to order
She quickly ordered the edamame and he grabbed the menu and left
Food was very slow coming out, we ordered from the menu as we did not want brunch.
Food was delicious but our server made us feel as though we were a huge inconvenience
the waitress was extremely busy, we had to get our own salt and pepper.
I loved my visit to Harper's Landing. The food was amazing and the waitstaff werre very friendly and professional. They were attentive to our needs.
The food at this restaurant is very good. We had the arancini for starters which was delicious. The main courses of Atlantic salmon and Moroccan chicken were also tasty.
The ambiance is nice enough. There is a mix of age-groups. The music is loud but not overpowering, the lighting is dimmed and they sat us near a lovely fire.
The service could have been better and friendlier. I felt like I was being rushed - get ‘em in and out quickly, but it wasn’t like the restaurant was overcrowded in any way.
I have been to this restaurant before and yes, I would go again.
Great spot for Birthday Brunch. Ate at the tables then moved to the bar. Bartender made great drink recommendations - ask for his ICE Coffee!
The food here is really good. We would give it 5 stars except it is really noisy to the point it is difficult to converse. We noticed patrons at other tables get up and walk around to visit and a couple across from us had to change seats to sit side by side in order to talk. This could have advantages if you did not want to make conversation. We enjoy the food and we people watch so we keep coming back.
This is a great place for good vibes ... very lively! Not the place for a romantic dinner.
Everything was excellent. The attitude of our servver was unexpected, she was rude, discourteous and impolite; drinks and desserts took longer than expected she wasnt nice at all!
Otherwise food as always good ambience amazing we had a great time!
It was a great experience. I reserved a table by the fireplace and had one available. Service was great. The chef had customized the order according to my intolerances. Cannot wait to return!
Great to be able to sit outdoors
We have to been to Harper's Landing and Kelly's Landing, both part of the Landing Group chain and have enjoyed both and are looking forward to trying out more of them in the area ! It was quiet as it was Labor Day Monday. But service was good, server was very friendly, and the food is always good. Definitely becoming one of our go to spots whether we just want a few drinks and appetizers, or a meal.
Birthday. Service was good but everything else has gone downhill since we last dined there. We will not be in a hurry to go back.
Loved this restaurant. I had brunch there and the food was delicious. Sat and talked for an hour after the bill was paid and no one bothered us.
The steak was dry and fat. For the money we were asked to pay you would appreciate more decent dish. The lobster was like a rubber, noodles overcooked to the point they were stuck to each other in big bunches. The octopus was dry and with no flavour. The waitress showed up only to take the order and cash out. No interest, no appreciation. I reserved the table and ask for a nice set up since we were celebrating our daughter's engagement...end up in the booth, really? Is this considered a nice place to sit?
We went for 6:30pm at about 7 the music was so loud we couldnt have a decent conversation.
Great place to meet friends. Service, food and value all great!
Dirty table. Dirty floors. Not a friendly greeting at the entrance. Server was good but left us hanging forever so just decided not to order desert.
Had an amazing experience at Harpers. Beautiful patio. Easy parking. Best dessert I've ever had in a restaurant. Well done. Generous portions. Lovely server.
The food was excellent. The noise was acceptable until the staff started dragging the chairs across the floor multiple times setting up for a large (70 people) party. Not once did anyone actually pick up a chair to move it, they simply dragged them around rattling away for 10 full minutes while we tried to have a conversation
Didn’t have the bottle of wine we requested but not a big deal. Wouldn’t alter my lady’s order. MY food was good though.
First few times we went it was ok if seated outside but seated inside this time and I think they forgot about us! Waiting a while to take our order and the food was very average it’s very hit and miss.
