Sea food spaghettini was very good,soup excellent

This was our first experience at Hart House. We took advantage of the Dine Out Vancouver event. The staff was very nice, courteous and attentive.

The food was good, but I wold have liked more greens/veggies with my 'confit de canard'.

Charming setting overlooking the lake. The chowder was outstanding as well as the warm wild mushroom salad. The set menu for dine out was excellent value. The service was also very strong

Went here for dineout. Food was amazing and they didn’t rush out even if we were the last table there. Always love this place.

Good location, unique setting and flavorful food.

Food was average at best. It used to be much better but now it is pretty standard and overpriced fair. Mediocre is how I would describe it.

The food was excellent so as the service. We went for Vancouver Dine-Out, and the value was good.

Karla was friendly and a good server. However the lunch special was somewhat disappointing to me and my guest. The flat bread was hard and made eating the sandwich difficult and messy. We let her know this. The chicken was very tender but overall not very flavourful. The Rosemary parm fries were delicious. The cheesecake was tasty and the lattes hot!

Limited options. Would have liked to see more choices on menu.

Hart house has and always be one of my favourite places to go. I take my family and friends whenever time permits. It’s one of my top 5 places. I would always suggest Hart House as a place to go when someone asks. Always exceeds my expectations every time I visit.

Exceptional food, service and overall vibe. I don’t pretend to know fine dining as I’m a 21 year old bloke who hasn’t gone on many fancy dates, but for me, this is what I would imagine a fancy wonderful dining experience to be!

It was an amazing experience. It was my 3rd time there in 3 weeks. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the view. Everyone especially Erkan, manager, was very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.

Nice visit for Valentine’s Day. Service with Emma was exceptional. Food was average some very good soup, appy but char was dry and crispy.

my partner and I had Valentines day brunch, was very much enjoyed and very uniquely enjoyed the winter landscape from the fairly novel snow fall for the area. Was the first time that I had tried the waffles would recommend them to new patrons, of course had to have a side pork belly which is always crispy and flavourful

This restaurant is by far one of the top romantic restaurants in Metro-Vancouver. This mansion of a house converted to a restaurant gives it a comfortable feel that is nicely paired with a fireplace and great view of Burnaby Lake. The ambiance has a unique antique yet modern feel that feels welcoming. It's the perfect stage for a great date or a couples celebration. The restaurant has many different rooms with unique features that can be used for either a great romantic setting or a quiet place for a business meeting. I've had the pleasure to enjoy both.
Ultimately, the food and service is what makes it stand out. The staff is cordial and attentive to your needs. I'm always impressed at how well the kitchen staff timing is delivering all the courses as you finish your previous.
The food is simply delightful as it hits your senses. The visual presentation is always on point, the aromas, textures and taste. All these combined in perfect harmony to deliver a great experience.
I've been coming to this restaurant for the last six years and look forward to continuing this tradition. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to enjoy a great experience.

We tried the dine out menu. You can tell they place a lot of thought and effort to craft their dishes. Some flavors were surprising. Overall, the quality of food was great and service was very friendly and welcoming even when we were dining with a little toddler.

It was an amazing experience. The ambiance was breathtaking, the food was delicious and the service was awesome. All in all a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend it.

Was there recently for Dine Out. Fantastic deal. Highly recommend. Have been there other times. The service and food have always been consistently good.

The seafood chowder is exquisite! Love the char! A bit too many chickpeas but nevertheless an entertaining night! Celebrating Valentine early! The steak was good too! An older building but still got its heritage and the service was good!

Had the Dine Out menu. Seafood chowder was delicious, as was the wild mushroom arugula salad. Very good value for the meal. Service was great. Enjoyed it all.

Great food and beautiful location. Had the 3 course menu with wine pairings and really appreciated that there was a vegetarian offering that was creative and delicious. Would definitely recommend. This is a lovely place with great welcoming staff that clearly enjoy their work!

From the moment, I entered, with the view of the large fireplace, to our exit, the evening was perfect. My cocktail, a New Fashion Martini, a recommendation from our server - was delicious. My husband said his steak was cooked exactly as requested. The service was paced nicely out, not rushed, but an easy flow. The only draw back was the choice of music at times, I would have liked it to be quieter; but we could still communicate easily. The heritage building on the lake provided a beautiful setting for a lovely evening out.

what a lovely way to enjoy a full filling breakfast brunch meal, while over looking the calm serene waters of deer lake with the modern sky line of towers that make up the metro town area of Burnaby, it's not just food which is suburb and the friendly service.

I love the setting, and have been many times. I would love to see a menu that changes more often, new and creative items would make me come back.
