Great atmosphere and overall good food. I ordered the Filet Mignonette and Shrimp combo with fried rice. The steak wasn’t a good cut as it was very fatty which is unusual for the normally good filet mignonette. Shrimp and fried rice were cooked to perfection. I favor the mustard sauce.

Valentine’s Day dinner on our first night in Honolulu. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was really good. Prepared dishes arrived quickly and the meet for self-preparation was well presented with nice marinades. If anything, we over-ordered and we’re absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal. We skipped the dessert included with our meal because we just couldn’t eat any more. Thanks for a fun night!

The meal was fantastic. From the hostess who seated us quickly, our server who helped us choose sake, to the hands down delicious food! Absolutely would recommend. Good for dates or family.

Amazing- could not believe how reasonable the $ was, for Hawaii was a pleasant surprise! Staff were awesome, hubbys bday and they were wonderful to us. Food was unbelievably good. Wood go beck in a heartbeat- highly recommend. Reservations highly recommended, but we booked that morning- if sitting outdoors (which recommend) request front patio, but honestly front or back you will enjoy yourself.

This is our 7th or 8th visit to this Japanese style restaurant. On this occasion, all the food seemed to be extra fresh and tasty. The entree's of large prime rib and the lobster were excellent. We had a reservation and there was no wait upon arriving. This is our favorite of the three Tanaka of Tokyo's in Honolulu. Highly reccommended.
