    We cannot say enough good things about our dining experience at Headwaters Restaurant. The staff were welcoming and friendly and our food was beyond incredible! We hope to be back again soon.

    Cappuccinos were lukewarm at best and would have been more enjoyable if hot. Waitress was most helpful in deciding on desserts and we appreciated her explanations of the plates.

    While the food was great….Our server, Fred, was top notch. We can’t remember when we had such personalized service. He called us by our first names all night and his service made the experience that much better!

    Little choice, tries to look fancy, but just doesn't have the nice taste, mediocre at best. Dessert portions were large, which was surprising considering the smaller main with large price tag. Main dishes were somethings many may have not recognized, so you would expect a kids menu with maybe salmon and rice or chicken and brocolli , but no, frozen personal pizza or chicken fingers. Very odd childs menu for a restaurant trying to present itself as higher end. I've never seen that in a restaurant before, one extreme to the other.

    This is a really beautiful space in an historic mill which has been converted into an inn and restaurant. The food was excellent and expertly presented. The mixed salad showed imagination and the vinaigrette had just the right balance of usual ingredients. The beef tenderloin was flavourful and cooked perfectly. The glaze was exceptional. Our server, Lisa, was a wonderful conversationalist who asked us about ourselves and shared some of her own past and experiences.

    We were there to celebrate my daughters birthday and Fred our server went above and beyond came out with a plate with chocolate lettering saying Happy birthday and 2 strawberries, made my daughter day even more special, best service we ever had , Fred deserve recognition he is the best👍🏻

    I've been coming here for years and getting a dinner package was always a trip highlight. I have to say the last 2 times (April & Oct 2023) the food was terrible. Just not what we expected at all. Not sure what's changed in the kitchen but the dinner package is no longer worth it. I wish we had picked up some takeout on the way in instead. The service was lovely as usual but the food was a real disappointment. I didn't leave a review the last time since I thought it was a one-off but that's not the case.

    We had been given a gift certificate and we celebrated our anniversary dinner here. We had never been to the Millcroft Inn for a dinner. We requested to be in solarium which was very nice. Our waitress Patricia was absolutely fantastic and definitely made our experience very enjoyable!

    Very limited choices for the main course. The stake was very small; it looked ridiculous on a large plate. A hungry person would feel still hungry after having such a small portion. Most definitely, way too expensive for such a miniature portion.

    We had Thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing. The turkey was moist and tender and I wish I could have licked the plate. Fred our server made the whole experience complete. If you go, you definitely need to ask for Fred.

    Another Thanksgiving at Headwaters. Meal was excellent as was the service. Downside, we were sat in the bar area. For the past many years we have always been seated in the restaurant area. As yearly return customers we were disappointed. We had reservations for 5pm and where we were seated was similar to being excluded from the adult table when we were children.

    Food was delicious and artistically presented. View from patio was stunning! Waitress was very attentive and extremely friendly. Wish were there for spa treatments and a stay, not just for lunch!

    There were two different menus, the fancier tables with views were over the top expensive. The waitress kindly explained that there was another, less formal area where the menu selection was more to our taste. Still expensive but not shockingly so. It was my adult sons birthday and at the end of the meal the waitress brought out a dinner plate with Happy Birthday written in some kind of liquid (chocolate?) and a candle. Kind of cute, I guess, but for a meal for four at over $160 I would have thought they could do a scoop of ice cream or a sliver of cake??? The location was beautiful though

    We had an amazing dinner and Lisa looked after us to perfection! Always attentive and a warm connection! We have birthdays in September and Lisa made us feel very welcomed! The choices were endless and the presentation was beautiful! Our food was served hot and done just as we liked! Everything tasted so fresh!

    We had a lovely time our server Fred was amazing. We are disappointed that a couple things weren't on the menu but we're pleased to know there was another beef option! Portions were great. Food was delicious. The only thing I'd suggest (if you're looking for it) is power washing the windows because lots of webs and spiders... but, didnt really faze us much. Thanks for making our 10 yr anni great

    The view and ambiance we got from sitting in the room overlooking the waterfall was fantastic, our servers were kind and humorous, the food and cocktails were tasty and not like anything we'd had before. Had to bring some of the lamb back for family to try

    We went to the Headwaters Restaurant at the Millcroft Inn & Spa to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Our server, Jade was phenomenal as she was friendly, attentive, and ensured we felt welcomed. We had the Beef Tenderloin and the Confit Halibut as our main. The beef was cooked to perfection, however, the halibut was underseasoned. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again!
