   Although the food was very good, and the cocktails sensational, the best part of the experience was the service. Our server (Luc?) was charming, attentive, and made the evening a delight.

   We went for my girlfriends birthday, and we’re treated really well. Had a great bottle of wine and hamburgers, and they brought out a surprise dessert for her after lunch. The staff were exceptional, and the hamburger was amazing. I would definitely go back again, I found it was excellent value.

   As far as the experience, we indicated that it was a special occasion (anniversary) on reservation but received no acknowledgment or gesture of celebration at all throughout the meal. The full Monty was very salty (overly salted to the point that it wasn’t enjoyable to eat) and didn’t feel like good value for the price. The server was nice and had good timing for checking in throughout but overall disappointing.

   My experience was fantastic. Has a warm greeting and welcome. The seating spot was an excellent choice as we got to watch the kitchen work. The place was elegantly designed. The service was top notch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The brunch was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place. Planning to go back again to try other item on the menus as everything looked good from where we were sitting

    Everything was fantastic! Food phenomenal, service, excellent. Loved the window table across the host stand. The General Manager Steve, was very attentive, our server was very engaging. Would definitely recommend for a great day out. They really know how to take care of their customers, quite well. 100% recommend.

    It was a very busy night! Hostess and servers and I believe a floor manager all were attentive and all hardworking. Nice to see a restaurant that knows how to balance their staff and food quality. Excellent! Thank you for an amazing memory

    Fabulous food especially the lamb shank, the Cobb salad and the HSC burger and fries. Homer Street Cafe is one of our favourite places to eat in Vancouver. We love their outdoor deck which is heated and let’s us enjoy dining outside all year. The service is great and personable. Luc and Rahel are two servers we’ve had recently and they are always super attentive and helpful. All round excellent.

    PLEASE add another vegetarian option! I have eaten the gnocchi for more than 10 years, and for goodness sake, you need an update. It is yummy, but you should consider seasonality, renewed interest, and the surge of interest in plant-based eating among consumers.

    Our first visit back in about a year. We were seated in the lower dining area and found it a bit tight. Had the half chicken which was perfect for us. Accompanied by the parsnips as a substitute for the rapini which they were out of. The chicken would have been better with the rapini…the parsnips just didn’t work. The server was just great. She had the balance just right, attentive but not overbearing.

    Amazing food!!!!! One of my favorite places. I recommend sitting on the main floor, upstairs or outside. if you need to hear what your dining mates are saying don’t sit downstairs it’s Realllly loud

    first time having brunch at Homer Street. was surprised to NOT see chicken and waffles on the menu considering their chicken is bomb!! two of us had the smoked salmon potato pancakes and the other two had their chicken fried steak and the classic breakfast, plus we split an order of wings for the table. i really enjoyed my salmon altho it was very expensive for what you get. i had a bit of the chicken fried steak and thought was very tasty but was told by both who got them that the fried potato slices were just okay (under seasoned). the wings were the biggest disappointment tho. they should be better than just okay. ah well. unlikely to return for brunch but perhaps again for dinner.

    My boyfriend and I went to Homer St. Cafe for Valentines dinner, we ordered the burrata, half rotisserie chicken, gnocchi, along with butter tart & drinks. The gnocchi and burrata tasted amazing and the drinks, however, the rotisserie chicken could’ve been more flavorful. The dessert and drinks tasted great as well, the ambiance of the restaurant, along with the vibe was amazing. Food was rather pricey, but would definitely be back again. Thank you for a wonderful experience and extraordinary service.

    Amazing food - I had the special of the day (brioche with mushrooms in a peppercorn jus topped with a sunny side egg and truffle shavings). It was divine! My husband had the breakfast sandwich (his favourite) but it was unfortunately slightly underwhelming. Overall, amazing food, service, and atmosphere.

    Overall, we were very happy with our experience. While we had a reservation, we unfortunately had to wait over 20 minutes past our scheduled time. That being said, we were seated at temporary seating, and when moved to our table, we were served a lovely appetizer at no charge. In addition our server was wonder and accommodating for requests such as a ‘finger bowl’ that is not standard at this restaurant. We will be coming back.

    Amazing staff - knowledgeable and friendly... nothing is too much trouble here. Our lunch was out of this world in a beautiful atmosphere and we are thankful for Homer Street Cafe for making a memorable time. We will definitely return to Homer Street Cafe

    The service was great and the place was beautiful, but the food was not meeting the expectation. We ordered a beef brisket from Valentines special menu but the meat was dry and tasted like beef jerky.
