Homer Street Cafe & Bar
Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the historic Homer Building and new Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district.
Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus.
A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. The restaurant features two spaces that consist of an open concept kitchen “Chef’s Bar” where one can get up close and personal with the culinary team, a semi private dining room with reclaimed factory windows, and bespoke seating complemented by antique tiling.

I love coming to Homer St!! We always have a fab dining experience and the staff are absolutely wonderful and accommodating to all our needs!!
As always, your food is top notch. Our server, David, was awesome! He made our experience fun and memorable.
We had a great time!
My favourite spot in Vancouver to have cocktails and a bite!
The service is always outstanding and the drinks are exceptional. Thank you to the staff for always going above and beyond
Excellent food. Great service!
Definitely a gem in Vancouver! Happy hour was well priced abs drinks are great. Highly recommend.
Best rotisserie chicken ever.
Friendly service, great atmosphere too.
Lovely staff and excellent food! Restaurant is stunning too!
Food and service were amazing. Thank you!
Perfect Sunday night dinner. Loved the rotisserie chicken. Our seat was very secluded which we were able to enjoy the restaurant vibes because of that. However, great service and friendly staff.
Homer Street never fails to deliver some of Vancouver's best upscaled comfort food. Thank you for your great service tonight.
Jody is an ambassador. Jessica is the most outstanding server west of the Rockies. And then there is the food: fresh, succulent, clean, nurturing and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
See you next week.
We had great service and had a perfect table outside.
Excellent late night dinner. We sat at the bar and had some nice chat with the bartender, great service from everyone, was fun watching drinks being made and of course the food was amazing. THE FULL MONTY sharing dinner option was fabulous.
Homer street cafe was great! Our server Christian (?) was fun and entertaining. He made some excellent suggestions from the menu (the eggplant was incredible and I don’t even like eggplant) and gnocchi was outstanding. Fair prices on entrees and the wines too
The service was top notch as usual. Unfortunately the gnocchi was not as good as usual.
The service was fantastic, we were early but the HSCB team went out of their way to accommodate us at a great table. The food and drinks were all delicious. I hadn’t been in a while so it was a treat to be back and I look forward to next time!
Dawn was a great server up in the Cockpit!
Overall great experience. Oysters were super fresh and tasty. I ordered the Lingcod entree but was a bit disappointed because it was salty. They put ham in it, which was new to me. The server made it right by offering the steak entree instead and it was so much better.
Friends 40th. What a great time!!! Food, wine, cocktails - all on point. Cant wait to go back!
Food is delicious, creative and beautiful to look at. Service was great and they attend to your needs very quickly. Great location for a fun brunch gathering. Music can be loud at times making it hard to hear those next to you but we asked them to turn it down a little and they happily complied. Will definitely go back!
Great food and the service was excellent.
Thank you for making my birthday special!
Reserved a table for 2 for my sisters Anniversary. Service was amazing! They said they had the best server and they brought a glass of champagne on the house. Thanks for making my sister and her husband’s 22nd Anniversary a huge success! They said it’s their new favorite place!
I absolutely adore Homer Street Cafe. Every time I've been there, the staff is incredibly friendly and super knowledgable. The food is fantastic and their cocktail/wine list is fabulous.
Have not been back in almost a year, and was great to be back. As always the service was great, and our server was incredibly friendly. However, the seat by the stairs is not a very desirable place to seat customers due to the ongoing traffic continually going up and down the stairs. Considering the restaurant was almost completely empty, and having made a reservation, perhaps more appropriate seating would be preferable, especially when the restaurant being almost completely empty. The food was great and very well proportioned, however, the rids were a disappointment as they were "dry", full-flavored but missing that "gooey" goodness. The "biscuits" are a cute idea, but not successfully executed, missing a gravy....would prefer a more traditional approach with creamy coleslaw.
The food was delicious, as usual, and the service was top notch. COVID protocols are in place and enforced. The menu and ambiance is among the best in Vancouver. And the handwritten card from staff to help celebrate our special occasion was a very thoughtful touch. If you haven’t been here, give it a try!
My mom was so pleased. The prices are acceptable for almost anyone, but the quality makes you feel like royalty. Can't wait to try the biscuits next time 😊😊
Getting away from the Rona!!
Everything was great!
Great restaurant with outdoor heated seating and lovely ambience.
Everything was excellent. Had fantastic appetizers and service was thoughtful
Mediocre - good server - but even though we told the staff at arrival - after they asked- that it was a BDay , we were placed at a table in an area without ambience - and no further mention was made of the occasion- they should rather not have asked
We had lunch at Homer Street Cafe on February 15th. Our first visit since the pandemic and so happy to report that the quality of the wonderful food and service that I have come to expect from HSC is still outstanding! Our server David was extremely attentive and ensured that all my food restrictions were accommodated.
Came here for my birthday on Valentine's day and had a wonderful time! A nice , thoughtful touch was was a lovely pink rose wrapped in purple paper for each table at the restaurant. The roast chicken, gnocchi, and steak tartare was absolutely to die for. Such a cozy and cute interior with lively atmosphere, would highly recommend to anyone!
Food was outstanding, and they also put in a lot of effort to make every guest’s dine in experience memorable.
Consistently great food and service! Has become one of my favourite places to brunch!
I’ve come here a couple of times now - each time has been memorable, fun, and delicious! The vibe is incredible, the servers are very friendly, and the music is always on point. Prepare to wear a smile for your entire stay :)
One of our local favourites! Exceptional food and service inan unassuming, casual and comfortable setting.
Homer st Cafe and bar brunch is pretty good (better than OEB's), the food is not cheap, but the environment and service is worth it!
