Excellent food and service from Javi. We were fortunate to visit both Salt and House Wine during our McAllen trip and both were equally amazing!

Overall the restaurant was great. We went during the week and there wasn’t any wait time. Our waiter was great at explaining the menu since it was our first time there. The food was top quality even tasted great as left overs. The ambience was quiet and perfect for our date. Would definitely visit again to try other items on their menu and recommend to friends.

All restaurant looks dirty and with very very poor maintenance Food was ok but not the quality I would expect being they are same owners as Salt. One little example: sink to wash hands is corroded and extremely dirty, you can tell they don’t clean it for days/weeks… but the problem is that the entire restaurant has extremely poor maintenance… I was worried the kitchen was in same conditions.

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.

Although the power kept going on and off because of problems with unseasonably hot weather, the staff handled the difficult circumstances with class and great concern for clients.

It was amazing. All the from the great service to the great tasting food and homemade pasta. All flavorful. The manager even sent someone to get us a baked Alaskan desert from the sister restaurant. Full stop. Love it. Mark D
