We indicated in our OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary, but it was unfortunately never addressed by the hostess or the waiter. When we came years ago for an anniversary meal, it was celebrated and very much appreciated. Please consider stronger communication between the hostess and the wait staff. The waiter was also bartending and was not able to provide us with the exemplary service we have had in the past because he was so busy at the bar. The rigatoni bolognese was not very hot but nobody checked back with us until quite some time after we received the food, so we didn't bother mentioning it. After having such a memorable experience at our first visit years ago, we unfortunately walked out somewhat disappointed with this visit.

The service at Hudson 29 was outstanding. Our server was on top of everything… so friendly and professional. The food was delicious and worth the price. However, it was over the top noisy. You may think it’s energetic but it is obnoxious. Also, the main dining room is too dark. I would order carry out for busy times and choose to eat in at a quieter time than Friday night.

Our waitress was excellent! Love Hudson 29. Only problem that I had with my salad was the chicken was overcooked. The noise level was pretty loud but would not let that stand in the way of returning.

Appetizer-trio dip-amazing Cheese rolls- amazing Queso dip- good French dip- generous portion and excellent Caesar salad, house salad and arugula salad were all great Filet looked good. 2 in our party ordered, one steak was more thin cut then I’m use to seeing with filet but both enjoyed their steaks Overall highly recommend

Skip the salmon, I've had better at Applebee's. So dry and over cooked and the couscous, not so great either.

The waiter was in training and I could hardly hear him. He was friendly and didn’t have a problem with him. He just needs to speak up. We were in a booth and I was sitting closest to the wall.

I'm a loyal Cameron Mitchell fan but was disappointed yesterday. The white chicken chili had only a couple pieces of chicken, not many beans, a red tangy ingredient, and too much cumin. The Caesar salad had pimiento (vs. parmesan) crisp bits that don't meld well with typical Caesar flavors. But alas, the Texas sheet cake at the end of the meal failed to disappoint. The generous portion with a perfect richness, not too dark, not too milky chocolate, and beautiful, full scoop of vanilla ice cream - my absolute favorite that will keep me coming back!

This is my neighborhood go to restaurant! Consistently, good service and quality food. I love the lunch trio because I get soup salad and a small sandwich. The sushi is also outstanding.

Food was good. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t what you would hope for on your anniversary. The wife’s meal came out with bacon though she asked for no bacon. The drink refills were slow. Our server was nice but just kept missing things. Overall, the food was good.

The noise level, even in the requested, quieter area of the restaurant, was too loud for a good business meeting discussion. Not really a complaint, but I would not come back for a business meeting of 4 guests or more where we wanted to have cross-table conversation at a moderate level.

Isn't worth the price. This was our second time at Hudson 29 for a meal. We sat outside which was small but still a nice quiet ambiance. The overall selection of the menu is pretty good with a variety of appetizers, salads and onto the main courses. However, what we continue to find is the overall quality and taste of the food is not up to par - especially for the price. My husbands chicken salad, although it looked beautiful and lush, tasted very bland. His rack of ribs was pretty fatty and according to him didn't taste fresh. The breaded chicken fingers for our kids needed some more flavor - even just a bit of salt - and we're not ones who need much salt on things. I received the surf n turf sushi roll. Overall it was a good sushi roll but not a top contender for sushi rolls in Columbus. Overall, this experience lacked in the food taste and quality. We'd love to love this place as it's right down the street from our home, however, we cannot justify the price with the overall food experience and experience overall.
