Hussong's Cantina & Taqueria opened in 1892 in Ensenada Mexico. Hussong's invented the Margarita in 1941 by bartender Don Carlos Orozco. Jarred was our server & he was engaging, yet not pushy or annoying. I enjoyed talking to him. The blackberry frozen margarita is delicious!! We had the shrimp enchiladas & Carne asada tacos. The food was great. They have a live mariachi band who meanders thru the restaurant and stops at tables while playing. Super fun atmosphere.

Made a reservation and they got us in and service was prompt and courteous. Both types of salsa were awesome. And the chips were nice and warm. Food came quicker than expected given how busy they were and we ordered the Carne Asada fajitas and cheese enchilada combo. Really loved the seasoning on the fajitas. They were really good. The cheese fajitas were pretty good, nothing special, but added some chopped fresh jalapeños on top to give it some more kick and flavor. Strawberry margaritas were on point.

Hussong’s is always good. I have to go here every time I come to Vegas. It’s the best Mexican on the strip. The service is fast and friendly and it has a good atmosphere. Will always return.

Live Mariachi band on Christmas Eve was the perfect touch! Very festive! Also had the ability to watch the Las Vegas Raiders game during our meal! Outstanding vegan menu! Something for everyone!

I'd recommend others based on server's demeanor and food quality. Male manager very nice and came over to table. Female manager, not so much and was the only thing that I would count against. I seriously feel her face would crack if she even tried to smile.

This was our second time eating here. As before, food is mediocre, but out of convenience and availability, we decided to eat here, again. Our server Raquel was a excellent. Food arrived fast, but was bland. Portions are huge. Drinks were good. It’s a bright and busy location, and overall fine for a fast and inexpensive dinner.

Friday night before a concert during NFR week the place was jumping. Good food lots of action and a 3-piece band walking around taking requests. Vegan menu was terrific!

The food is always delicious and the variety of choices is wide, including a vegan menu. Fresh tortilla chips made in house. The margaritas are served extra cold. The staff, bartenders and servers are all awesome.

didn't really expect to be blown away by a Casino Mexican Restaurant! however at Hussong's Cantina they deliver on all aspects of my judging values! Server was attentive and friendly! Food was AMAZING! Menu was great including Vegan choices! Margaritas and beers were spot on! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Our server made us feel like we were an imposition. Anytime something was brought to the table, it was just set down and the server would walk away. We were never checked on, asked if anything else was needed. And to top it off the food was not at all enjoyable. I was brought guacamole without any chips to eat it with, but good luck letting the server know - nowhere to be found

Side of guacamole was a mistake. Could not taste the avocado due to heavy use of (tasted like) pickle juice. Very tart tasting. We had the waiter take it back & they credited our tab. The three carnitas enchiladas were tasteless. No flavor to carnitas. Tasted bland. The enchiladas came as either chicken, pork, or beef. Waiter said you had to get all three enchiladas the same & they wouldn’t mix the protein. Not sure they even prepared they in the restaurant. Probably came from their central MGM Resorts offsite factory kitchen. Someone on staff came by & explained that their guacamole came in big premixed bags & all they do is dish it up. Wow, can’t even make their own guacamole. Service was good, friendly staff. This was not the food we expected from this venue.

It was busy following a Raiders game but we were sat with a minimal wait. Our server was busy but super friendly and attentive. The food portions were huge and delicious! It was a fun and lively atmosphere and everyone was having a great time. I will be back!

Good food as always. We felt very rushed. The waitress seemed like she was in a hurry. We barely finished our dinner barely, she was already asking us what we wanted for dessert. I had to ask her for a few minutes to kind of settle my food.
