I had been to Hy’s before, but it’s been a few years. Great bartenders, wonderful wait staff and epic food. I got the New York Strip, which was excellent. It was very flavorful and oh so tender. They do table side service for some items, (the Caesar Salad and Bananas Foster). I will certainly return on my next trip to Whistler.

Fantastic meal as usual at Hy's. I see comments about pricing being high. Yes, its true but I see this same issue with all high end restaurants in Whistler. The meal and service were what I call memorable and for us...its worth it.

The steak dinner was one of the best I have had in years. Service was great and they didn't hover over the table, checked on you but gave you lots of time to enjoy your meal without being bothered. The way the tables were arranged each party had some privacy while still being open to the view and not being hidden the dark. I will go back next time we are here in Whistler/Blackcomb.

Fantastic food, we had cheese toast as the starter that we loved, steak Diane was wonderful, and key lime pie was amazing with the light whip cream on top. We had a wonderful host that gave us very good recommendations.

Came here due to recommendation we had when we dined in Gotham. So came to Hy's and loved it. They prepare many dishes for you at the table and the fish, sides, and steaks are amazing. Ambience is great and classy. Hostesses was great, welcoming, and took our coats as well as give us our coat while on way out. Overall a must come.

As always Hy's doesn't disappoint. Great ambiance, we were able to enjoy a quiet, relaxed, and unhurried dinner to celebrate our anniversary. From the cocktails, to the appies, to the wine and mains, all was perfect.

I really like this restaurant in terms of capturing the whole Ambience of being an Whistler and being in a ski resort area even though there was no snow when I was there! All the staff was very nice and I was extremely happy with the food choices that were available on their menu.

In the menu was written jumbo scallops as an appetizer But my order was very small scallops ok.. As a chef for many years I do know and recognize the size of scallops ok I mentioned it to the server to make a change on the menu Paid over $30 for 3 small pieces of scallops is insane.

Over priced and steak was super fatty. Not worth the cost. Not the same place anymore. Disappointing. I have been going here at the same time every year for a lot of years and this was the worse ever. Sad.

My wife and I requested a window table for our anniversary. We got a small table that barely fit everything beside exit doors. It took a while for our orders to be taken. We wanted a pic together but ended up not asking. We were a little annoyed so I stepped out for a smoke😡 When I came back, the waiter left the cart beside our table. He waited for my return to make caesar salad infront of us👏 it was spot on as well as the dry aged, halibut, chocolate cake, J Lohr, and carribean coast😋 Reflecting on our experience, we wished we asked for a photo but weren’t in the mood at the time. We weren’t impressed at first but felt better after the food and drinks came.

Our 1st experience at Hy's was perfect. Our waiter Rich was hilarious and definitely made our dining experience superb. The cheese bread was to die for. Our table side caesar salad was excellent and steaks were done to perfection. Adding the mushrooms and peppercorn sauce was amazing. We were too full for dessert but enjoyed a delicious cappuccino to top off the night. Will definitely be back when visiting Whistler ❤️
