IL FORNELLO, 214 King Street West located directly across from Roy Thomson Hall and steps from the Royal Alex and Princess of Wales Theatres is perfect for pre-theatre dining. Even the Rogers Centre, CN Tower and Ripley’s Aquarium are but a short walk away. IL FORNELLO introduced Toronto to Wood-Oven Baked Pizzas and still makes the best Pizzas in the neighbourhood, from the classic Margherita to the popular Pepperoni to the gourmet Fig. There are Appetizers, Salads and Pastas aplenty with some favourites being Bruschetta, Grilled Calamari, Arugula & Beet Salad, Linguini di Mare, Penne Pollo Pesto and Gnocchi Gorgonzola. Braised Lamb Shank, Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon or Chicken Breast stuffed with Asiago Cheese are three of the Entrées available and the Dessert Selection featuring Tiramisu is a perfect way to end your meal. The wine and spirits list is extensive and the servers are expert at making sure you enjoy a relaxed, unhurried dinner and still make it to the theatre on time.

There is ample parking available at The Roy Thomson Hall and The Metrocentre Parking Garages that share an entrance on Wellington Street, one block south of King Street. The Mirvish Parking Garage beneath The Princess of Wales Theatre is accessed at 96 John Street. There is limited street parking on King St. after 6.00 pm.

IL FORNELLO is one block west of the St Andrews Subway station on the University line. If you are traveling by Street Car, we are located at the Simcoe Street Stop on the King line.
