This was our second visit to celebrate my wife's birthday with our son and daughter in law. We were greeted by the chef/owner who was clearly proud of his restaurant. Both the regular menu and specials were varied and unique to his culinary taste and expertise. Half price cocktails ordered before before 6:30 were especially appreciated. We will be back.

I was disheartened by the sub-par gluten-free options available. The advertised pizza for gluten-sensitive diners turned out to be a paper-thin, overcooked disappointment. Similarly, the gluten-free pasta failed to make any notable impression and was far from remarkable. The cost of the meal felt unjustified, considering the underwhelming taste and mediocre quality of the food. The tiramisu saved the day, however. Overall, I'm hesitant to return or recommend it to others based on this disappointing encounter.

There were many specials as well a great menu with lots of choice. Salad was a generous size and minestrone soup delish.

We eat out here often enough to know that it will be consistently excellent - from the warm ambience to the always superb menu options carefully prepared. We went for a wedding anniversary dinner and they gave us each a generous glass of Prosecco on the house. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Fantastic spot! Quality and selection of both the food and wine are outstanding. The staff takes pride in the quality of the product they deliver and the owner has a passion for food that is second to none! It is easy to become a regular here and I am glad that we are!!

Best Italian meal by far! We have dined at several Italian restaurants in the GTA and no others compare. Giancarlo and his staff were great. Food was outstanding. Gnocchi special was very cheesy and the Filaj Calabresi was very flavorful. Do not overlook this place!!

Delicious dinner with good friends. Never had the spaghetti nerano anywhere but the Amalfi coast snd they did a great job! Calamari was crispy and very tasty. Will definitely go back as I want to try other dishes. Atmosphere outside was quiet and surrounded by green. Not like we were on a busy street. Inside looked really nice and cozy. See you soon snd thank you !! Great find

1st visit on a recommendation from a friend. Food was outstanding as we had one waiter order a family style meal for the four is us. Great choices. Great Italian wine (although the 2nd waiter told us he only recommends California wines - thought this was strange as he wasn’t drinking the wine). Found service (from the 2nd waiter and the front of the house staff) not very friendly and somewhat cold. Only issue from what was a great meal.

Food was tasty but not sure if it was worth the price paid. Server was a cool dude. Didnt really love the way the tables were set up (too close to the people next to us). Establishment was clean. All in all, a nice place with great food, but lacking ambience.

First off, the food was fantastic and highly recommended. Very creative dishes and quite authentic Italian cuisine. Giancarlo was a great host and you can feel his passion for food and wine. My only disappointment pertains to what we are used to in Italy. Very commonly the owner would offer a free dessert or digestive like lemonchello as a thank you. It was my niece’s birthday and she didn’t even get a mention. We told the waiter seating us to no avail. Otherwise very highly recommended but could use a touch of Italian hospitality thrown in. The meal for 4 was not inexpensive.

We live around the area with many Italian restaurant and II Ponte is one of the better ones. The Burrata was fresh and amazing. Gnocchi was delicious not to heavy as most cream sauce tend to be. Also we had the catch of the day which they debone and separated into individual serving as we were sharing main. The atmosphere is simplistic but nice. Overall great food!!

The owner is the nicest friendliest human who makes ever meal sound tantalizing. Worth the visit for that alone. The pizza here scores tops, but so is the octopus and many other things on the menu. The gluten free pizza crust is a little unpredictable some times it’s a 5 star order one to go for tomorrow it’s so good, and other times it’s okay. Still eat the whole thing, but skip the extra one to go. In any care if you’re hungry and craving Italian, you won’t regret eating here.

The extensive menu and daily specials are so varied and interesting. Italian fare taken up a notch! The owner is impressive in his knowledge of the menu and his delight in informing us of the ingredients! Highly recommend this comfortable quiet restaurant!
