   Each dish we had conveyed the right balance of Indian flavors we all love, presented in a minimalist and elegant way. For those of us not so knowledgeable of this cuisine, pairing the main dish with a side dish might come as a little bit of a challenge, so it would be helpful to get some suggestions from the servers. Overall an extraordinary experience worth every penny.

   The food was good however, I’m not a fan of rushing people out of the restaurant. No sooner did we finish one course then the next course a was placed in front of us. I was not happy. Dinner was one hour.

   Honestly the most amazing food I've ever tasted! The presentation was beautiful, all dishes were full of flavour and the waiters really helpful and attentive. Would 100% visit again and recommend to anyone.

   For a Michelin restaurant serving high quality expensive food, the staff was not well trained to provide the service expected at restaurants like these. The presentations for each course were mediocre or lower at best. Expected a better experience. Would not recommend.

   Four of us had the set menu as the a la carte was only available if seated at the bar! The service from Brady was entertaining, theatrical & informative. Food portions are generous & I’d like to thank I.A for remembering it was our anniversary & giving us a personalised dessert. There was nothing wrong with the dishes we ordered - we have only deleted one star as it wasn’t as spectacular as their New Delhi restaurant creations.

    Quality of good varied. Some liked their food. Others did not. All agreed however that the service was poor. Lengthy and unexplained delays; slow to clear the table; slow to take orders and bring food and drinks. Not professional and very disappointing at the price point this restaurant occupies.

    Great food and ambience. Yes it is priced high (welcome to New York), but the food was amazing. Took my family there to celebrate Mother’s Day. My wife was initially skeptic when she saw the portion size, but everyone of us ended up taking some food to go even though it was a three course meal. Looking forward to coming back here again

    Second time and won’t be back. We were really looking forward to dining at Indian Accent since our first fantastic visit a couple of months ago. We raved to family and friends. After being seated last night, service was very slow. First approach from wait staff was about 15 min in to the point where we looked around to see where everyone was. Finally, Head waiter was very solid with knowledge of the menu and making recommendations. Continuing from the initial approach each course was slow but the food was good (not great like the first time ..but good). Here is why we won’t be back: Head waiter cleared plates from our final course and we were waiting for the check - slow service was the theme of the evening. Out of no where someone who we assumed to be part of restaurant management approached our table in an abrupt manner. He said “Hello” .. we said hello back followed by silence.. “sooo what stage of the dinner are we in?” ..not “How was your dinner?’, “Did you enjoy your experience with us”, “Is there anything else we can get for you?” .. as anyone would expect with a Condé Nast recommended restaurant. We said we just finished.. our new uninvited friend interrupted me in mid-sentence with “great let’s get you the check” and was back in a min with the check and just walked away. A restaurant like Indian Accent isn’t purely about the food. It’s about how a guest is treated, the experience and many other factors. The slow service wasn’t intentionally incorporated to allow space between courses. It was management incompetence. The rude ending proved that they wanted the table. The entire encounter could have been handled in a much better way. NYC is a cornucopia of awesome restaurants. Until last night, Indian Accent was on our list. Unfortunately, what we will remember most is how unfriendly we were treated at the end by Indian Accent leadership. Not a great example for the remainder of the staff to follow.

    Loved Indian Accent it was our third time back. The food is delicious and we love the atmosphere. It's very chic and the volume is great so perfect for conversation. I would try everything on their menu if I could. Everything we had was delicious especially the potato chaat and the paneer. The roti was amazing!

    I have been to IA before and liked it. I think the food, while mostly delicious, is presented too preciously. Also, the contrast between the highly spiced plates versus the mild ones was such that the mild plates tasted bland. I know they wouldn’t taste that way if eaten in a certain order, or with different accompaniments. A trained wait staff could be helpful here.

    We went to Indian Accent pre-theatre because it was convenient but it is worth a trip from anywhere in NYC. The food is creative, the service is excellent, and the clean lines of the restaurant are beautiful. Vegetarian options are readily available and the staff is attentive to allergy concerns and showtimes. We were impressed with our server Brady. We have spent much more on highly touted places in NYC and haven’t been this impressed. We look forward to returning next time we are in town.

    We went in for anniversary night expecting ambience and food like Junoon and Semma and unfortunately both fell short. The service was amazing but lacked both the look and feel in the place and flavors in the food. Overall kind of an okay place which we likely would not visit again.

    The food was really good, but our server ruined our dining experience and our evening by being extremely rude when one person in our party took longer than he wanted her to in deciding what she wanted to eat. First he got pushy, then when asked why he was making us feel rushed he started talking in a very rude tone. After he took our orders almost unbearably (for him) he very visibly slammed the menus on the counter in the back after he left our table. We had to tell the restaurant manager we were not comfortable with him, and they were nice enough to change our server. This particular rude server kept making visibly angry gestures when passing by our table. I was hoping this would be our best Indian food experience in NYC and it ended up being the worst. I liked Tamarind Tribeca and Baar Baar far more than Indian Accent, which is a pity as the food was really good.

    I like the presentation and the small portion. I was not impressed by the quality of the food. I expected a higher culinary level, more subtle flavors, and exact cooking. Waiters were mumbling and challenging to understand. I don't mind to pay a higher price, but I expect more refined cuisine. I am not sure; I will be back.

    Indian food very unique both in flavors and variety. We ordered several dishes and none came with rice but we didn’t miss it. This is my second time coming here and I enjoyed it as much as the first time.

    This was my fourth or fifth time at Indian accent. This time I noticed a severe decline in service and food. I don't think I will go back. Not sure what happened. It used to be a pretty good restaraunt.

    Delicious food, I loved everything except the pork dumplings, which weren’t as flavorful as I would have liked. The eggplant corners are great, so was the mushroom kulcha and beef tenderloin. The toffee dessert was very tasty and the service was attentive and very courteous. Highly recommend!
