A wonderful birthday dinner with friends. Delicious dishes and beautiful platings.
Although the food has always been excellent over the years, we thought that this year the food was a "notch above" and asked that the Chef be told. We were very pleased with the meal.
Had not visited in a few years...will easily return now! Excellent overall!
Food, service and atmosphere were all outstanding!
We looked at the menu on open table and it was not the same once we got to the restaurant. Disappointed that there wasn’t any lamb or duck. Should have gone to their website instead. Open table needs to stay current with menus
We have have eaten at The Inn On the Twenty a number of times in the past, but the new Chef has taken it to the next level. Delicious and full of flavour. I've never had Pork Belly that was better and the pairing with Scallops was perfect. My partner's Beet Salad was equally as good. We both had the main course Trout which was perfectly done and the bed of vegetables was so full of flavour I could have eaten a meal of only the veggies.
The food presentation was well done, the food delicious.
The service staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
It made for a very enjoyable experience.
We ate an early dinner there before going on to the Shaw Festival. The dining room, with its view of the Twenty River Valley, had a warm, golden glow about it, and the service was friendly and professional. The dinner menu was inventive and the beet tart appetizer and homemade raspberry sorbet and macaron dessert were highlights for me. Highly recommended.
The meal and service were excellent, but accommodations for breastfeeding mothers was not acceptable.
A dinner experience we wont soon forget! The food, service, and atmosphere were extraordinary and made up the perfect capstone to a special and romantic day. Thanks!
Excellent food, wine & service
We enjoyed soup of the day, mussels, frites and a burger. All were delicious are nicely served.
The venue is very charming, located amongst a strip of boutique shops that backs onto a green valley. This is right next to Cave Springs, the tasting room for a local winery known for great riesling. They also have these wines on the list and other local bottling.
Clean, full of natural light, and quite elegant without being to stuffy. We had the Lunch menu which included 3 courses for $36 (I think) Cauliflower Soup, a very generous portion of grilled mackerel cooked to perfection and an awesome creme caramel topped with rhubarb.
It also wasn't too busy for a late lunch on a Saturday, I am sure that changes later in the season, but coming from Toronto it was nice to not fight for a seat for once.
We had a wonderful dinner, great service & a beautiful sunset, that we took in!
Our second lunch at the Inn Restaurant and just as good as the first time. We were four people looking for good food in a quiet setting. We ate outside on a beautiful day and received very pleasant and efficient service. Each of us had a different item from the lunch menu: Tagliatelli, tuna salad, fish pie, soup. All were very satisfied.
The price for four was reasonable for such excellent food, $140 plus tip, including a glass of wine for three of us.
We look forward to another visit next time we go to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
This was our first night at the Inn On The Twenty and we went to their restaurant, Brian the server was very friendly and an excellent server. The wine was good and the food was excellent. The room was quite so you could have a nice intimate conversation. The ambiance and scenery was excellent making a night to remember. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Prices are extremely expensive.
Vegetables should not be extra when paying $44 for entree
The only negative of the whole experience was the lack of vegetarian options available. My meal was excellent but I personally feel that some creativity in vegetarian dishes/ entrees would be welcome
Everything was excellent, as usual. We’ve been to On the Twenty several times and it never disappoints! Food, service, atmosphere excellent, thank you. A special thanks to our server, Claire...very attentive, great at suggesting food, wInes, etc. (and taking pictures!!). Will definitely continue to recommend and we will be back again. Thank you!
Although one of our favourites, the tables and chairs and overall feel of the room is starting to age not well. Recommend a needed makeover.
Phenomenal food, service, and views! Highly recommend.
I have eaten here on several occasions. The food is always very good and the chef is very creative.
The cocktails are unique. It is not w cheap place to eat but we think of it as a special place.
Great, casual ambience. Great food. I would highly ecommend.
Spectacular food and service, Bryan and management were both welcoming and accomodating!
Wonderful location in the Niagara region. Very quaint and rustic restaurant. Spacious and the food is delicious. Good variety. $$
Still going strong after all these years. We had a delightful lunch - delicious foie starter; ahi tuna with avocado toast and a perfect Steak/Frites - ordered blue which is tough to pull off....steak was very tender and perfectly done. Service was excellent.
Good but not great. View is amazing but interior is a bit dated. Food is good but service is lacking for this tier of restaurant (slow, even though it wasn't busy, not too friendly).
Just a wonderful place to eat - the staff are excellent and friendly and the food is amazing, especially for the price point. I can’t recommend this place enough.
this is the second time we have come for mothers' day and have never been disappointed with the food and surroundings. The one problem we had was a waitress that was not very accommodating. We had to ask the hostess for coffee as we felt ignored.
The food was very good, the service was attentive, friendly and cheerful but the restaurant is badly in need of an update - dated decor, furniture way overdue for replacement, even cracks in the veneer at our table. A pleasant dining experience but not compelling.
Food was very tasty and lovely presentation. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Food was fantastic service also, will definitely go back
The front hostess was a bit rude when seating us and the server wasn't too attentive. But, the person who was setting all the tables was very helpful and helped us whenever we asked (because we couldn't find our server) even though she was busy.
Food was good.
Stopped on our way home from Shaw. Very quiet the night we were there but service was very good and welcoming. Soup was cool but replaced right away and was excellent. Beet salad outstanding. All else very good. Very nice setting as well.
As always, the meal and service were outstanding.
Love going for lunch there. It would be great if the winemaker’s lunch was varied more often.
Very scenic nice restaurant. The service was excellent. Food a bit pricy , so that would be the only downside.
Attentive service, great food, and a good wine selction. It is some years since I have been in this restaurant - I plan to be back sooner this time.
I would definitely recommend Inn on the Twenty for anyone visiting wine country, especially anyone staying in Jordan. The service was fabulous, the food was delicious and delightful, and of excellent value. We each had an app and a main and could barely finish. The dishes were classic, but with imaginative presentation and, most importantly, very well executed.
Food was good, well presented. Duck slices had a bit too much fat. A potato in some form would have complemented the dish. Oversized plates made the portions seem even smaller. Duck confit was dry and unappetizing. Soup that was ordered never came. Portions small, and somewhat pricey. Ambience very good. Wine very pricey especialy for domestic. Service very good and friendly. .
