    We were really excited but sadly was let down. Food was mediocre at best. The best bite was the duck st Phillip. And the hot bread and butter was the saving grace. The lasagna was luke warm, both oyster dishes were a letdown and the meatball was ordinary. Service was wonderful but the food just was lacking

    Our server was Paul. He was very knowledgeable about all the entrees and never rushed us. The food was exceptional. We started with the fried soft shell crab and ricotta spinach ravioli. Could of licked the ravioli dish. The sauce and pasta was so good. Our entrees included one duck, lamb, snapper and filet. All were again so so good. We each tried each other’s dish and no one had anything negative to say. We ended the meal by sharing a Tiramisu dessert. So delish. Hands down the best restaurant in New Orleans!!!!

    Excellent Dinner. Enjoyed the escargot and the duck. Both were outstanding. Great service by David. Nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will return next time I am in New Orleans.

    Excellent service, food and ambience. We were seated promptly upon arrival and everything after that was perfect. We were treated to complimentary bruschetta to start, then split the escargot and split the caprese salad. For entrees, my husband had the redfish almondine with crabmeat and I had the duck breast. Both were cooked perfectly. Then we split the chocolate hazelnut torte for dessert. All of the food was excellent and were served in a timely manner. Not too quick and not too fast either. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a fabulous dining experience in the French Quarter.

    One of my favorite places to go. The food is always fantastic and the service is wonderful. Perfect for a first date or a family celebration. Worth the price for such fine cuisine.

    Gio was a great server and explained the special entrees to us. Answered questions and was attentive without being in our face constantly. Watermelon salad and soft shell crab were delicious apps and the duck and lamb entrees exploded with flavor. Will go back again!!

    We love Irene’s! The atmosphere can’t be beat. The service was fantastic, as was the food. I love that they seat you in the bar area with live music while you wait. The restaurant space is stunning. We will come back to Nola just to eat here in the future, it’s so much fun! Thank you Irene’s!!

    It’s an Italian restaurant but not in the red sauce kind of way. I had an excellent Drum fish, friends had, turtle soup, duck and lamb the said was a delicious. Our desserts were great too. Nikki was a superb server. Will be back

    As wonderful as ever! The watermelon salad appetizer was great. Beautiful presentation. The crawfish and shrimp pasta was also wonderful. Joe our server gave some great recommendations. If you havent tried this restaurant uou are missing a treat!

    We had many appetizers like the Oysters Irene, crabmeat gratin, and escargot aux champions! The escargot was so good, we ordered another plate! The Duck St Philip was everything but a bore. It was flavorful, crispy exterior and juicy! Filet mignon was a must and seasoned well. Finished off with cheesecake. Overall, a delicious dinner. Can’t wait to go back!

    I've not been since they moved to the location on Bienville. New locations did not disappoint! Simple answer was it was exactly as good as I remember, but with zero waiting outside (which was what kept me from frequenting it in the old spot). Date had the cioppino, and I had the classic lasagna. Cioppino was fantastic, and was loaded with mussels, crab, shrimp, and a huge chunk of what I think was redfish. There was enough that she took half of it home. My lasagna was wonderful, and surprisingly light. Tiramisu we had for dessert was topped with cocoa and blueberries, and very clearly handmade. Again, super light and delicious. Claudia took great care of us in the piano lounge, and made everything smooth without being too present. All in all a great reintroduction to a traditionally wonderful FQ dining experience.

    It was a very nice evening. Service was terrific, soft shell for appetizer was wonderful, crabmeat appetizer was perfect for my main meal. Cheesecake was a great ending to the evening. We will be back sooner this time & Hope Sean will serve us again. Thanks ☺️

    Our meal there was the worst meal I have ever had in New Orleans. We went for the advertised Coolinary menu and they were out of every single item on that menu. We ordered off of the regular menu, because it was too late to get a reservation somewhere else, and we were not impressed. I would not go here again.
