Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.

    When we walked in the two workers were chatting about their lives Vs greeting us. I had a reservation and she acted like they didn’t take reservations. I was also a bit dissatisfied that I wrote down we were celebrating a birthday and we bought a dessert but there was no candle or anything special with it. Service was just fair. Food was tasty but experience with service was nothing to be excited about unfortunately. I wouldn’t take someone here for their birthday again unfortunately.

    Service was very bad. Honestly it was fast and efficient but the server was unpleasant and certainly brought the group down. I watched another table with two or three servers helping them with a positive attitude and overall pleasant demeanour that wasn’t what we received so for my daughters graduation dinner it was a little disappointing

    My steak I ordered was suppose to be rare/med, I expected it to be juicy with some red center. instead it was more med/well.. very little pink center and very dry. Definitely not worth $33. The garlic bread was very good, but you advertise that it will serve 2 people, so we ordered 2 but realized when we got it that one bread would have served 4..

    It was extremely loud. Had to yell to speak to people at my own table. Crowded. Very expensive for the portion sizes. Delicious but I won't go back anytime soon.

    Good food and service. Can’t really say a whole lot about the ambiance as it’s usually very noisy. Have always found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyable!

    We were disappointed to be asked to leave before the end of the raptors game. We recognize that the bar closes early on sundays, but the Jack Astor’s social media said the games would playing at all Jacks locations, so we anticipated being able to watch the whole game

    AOK, family of 6, two children 6 and 3. Kids did not like their pasta with tomatoe sauce. Crayons, etc. were fun for them. Table located in the aisle, busy with traffic back and forth. Salmon was fine, fish and chips OK, chicken bowl, good, nachos fine. Overall just AOK. Probably choose something else next time out. Waitress very busy; however, managed to get her job done, very friendly.

    There were 7 people in our party and none of us liked the food. It was very overpriced. I couldn't believe they served frozen fries and charged so much money. I do not go to many fast-food restaurants but the fries were better at those than here. I had a shrimp dish which wasn't too bad, but the shrimp were overcooked. There should have been a roll or garlic bread served with it for the price. It was a birthday celebration and the server brought the cake out when the table was not even cleared of all the dirty dishes. Then we had to wait forever to get our bills. Overall none of us will be returning.

    We had a busy weekend with kids at a dance competition. There was something that everyone enjoyed. My little girl was beyond happy that there was steak on the kids menu!! We will be back anytime we are in Halifax.

    I would really like it if there was a menu for those who have different holidays because my cousins and I could not have dairy or meat and the menu consisted of many meats and very few options for us.

    Our server was very condescending . We had a party of ten. Six arrived first and then the other four. My husband moved so that his parents could sit together and our waiter scolded him. Saying rude things in a 'nice' voice is very passive aggressive. Perhaps she was new, perhaps she was overwhelmed by a table of ten, it's difficult to say. She didn't always acknowledge when I spoke to her and then blamed us when she made mistakes (ex. my mother in law did not get her drink and the waiter's response was that she must have been late getting there - which she wasn't). We asked for three straws and had to listen to a rant about the environment and then she threw seven straws on the table. My sister had to wait more than five minutes for change - the waiter was obviously put out that someone would use cash. I could list numerous more examples but I think these are sufficient. It was my husband's and daughter's birthday lunch and our server was very rude. The only reason I left a tip (although small) at all was because I didn't know if your restaurant shares tips and I didn't want others penalized for her rudeness. The food was good, but I would never return and never recommend your restaurant because of this server.

    We we're here for a birthday dinner and it was well below our expectations. The atmosphere was great and the food was prompt but otherwise the food itself and the service were both mediocre at best. We definitely won't be returning.
