   I want to preface this by saying that I always have an amazing experience when I come to this location, so I am leaving a review for this experience as it was definitely not typical. Based on the numerous other positive experiences I have had throughout the years at this location I still would go back. This visit though was disappointing. The restaurant was steady in terms of guest, so this was a bit surprising. Our server rushed us to select food and drink ( we had just been sat and handed menus, and they were trying to take our order). We asked for a few minutes for them to return about 45 seconds later to take our order. The first items ti come out we’re the drinks, which were not deliver by our server, and there was no opportunity to share this with wait staff as items were just dumped at the end of the table before the new server headed off. When our mains arrived, the original server also left them at the table and ignored any inquiries by our table for missing items initially. Lastly, members of our group were still eating, and as a few other group members were done, ALL plates were collected, even though it was mentioned people were still eating. I’m not sure if there was something else happening behind the scenes, but I hope that hospitality procedures are reviewed with staff.

   Our server was new and didn’t place our main food order in as he forgot. He didn’t check in often so we were always waiting for drinks. We asked for fries to be done a certain way and another server stated it wouldn’t be a problem. Once they arrived, we questioned the female that brought them and she said there was no way to do that so it was only plain fries he could have. We were there for over 3 hours with the mess ups so it’s a good thing we didn’t have plans after. Our server was afraid to speak to a manager about the issues since he was new and we felt bad for him so we never got to speak to one. We weren’t offered a free dessert or money off our bill even though we asked him about it. It would have just made it an “easier pill to swallow” so to speak for forgetting to put our food order in for almost an hour.

   Jack actors has always been our go to spot for a date night but yesterday's experience was not very pleasant. The portions were very small, we ordered nachos that came as basically a plate of plain chips, only a few on the top actually had anything on them to the point we asked for a box to take them home and do them ourselves.

   The fish tacos, chicken fingers and nachos were all very good. The chicken wings however, were not so good. I had them with the lemon pepper dry coating. This was a very salty coating with an unpleasant lemon-like flavor. They should either eliminate this option, or improve it.

   Nice ambiance on the patio. Service was very good and food was good too. The music was loud but not so loud that we couldn't hear each other.

    Regular patrons. Almost always quite satisfied as we were with this visit with one exception; the music was far too loud. We could not carry on a conversation.

    Valentines The music is waaaaay to loud. It is very hard to have a conversation at your table and the waitress couldn’t hear us. It isn’t a dance club. I like music but it is annoying. We will choose somewhere else to go

    The waitress got both my friends meals wrong . Didn’t taken them back when we brought up how wrong they were. She just asked if they would still eat it. They both didn’t even eat half their meals. Also when they had their pan bread it just got taken away when it’s wasn’t done because their wrong meals came out. They were saving the pan bread to take home and no one asked them and it was just gone. I felt so bad as I planned this a birthday dinner for my friend and her husband and they left very upset. The only thing taken off the bill was one meal and i still thought that was completely unacceptable as they hardly ate their food and just wanted to leave . Was not a good experience for them at all.

    Kids meal hamburger came with a burnt bun and did not know it came with no condiments At least advise and offer them when served. Nachos far too salty. Fish tacos were good. Service was very good. Clean and atmosphere was ok.

    The food was excellent as usual. The only challenges this time was that the garlic and cheese pan bread was a little over cooked (crispy at the bottom and drier than usual) and the music was way too loud in the dining room. However, my chipotle steak was perfect and the server was awesome.

    This is my go-to restaurant for a casual meal out. I particularly enjoy the Chipotle Steak, the Tuna Avocado appetizer and the pan bread with cheese. These dishes are my favourite menu items and are what keep me going back.

    Kaitlin M. Our waitress was awesome!! My girlfriend and I hadn’t seen each other in a long time, and we took our time for drinks and lunch. Our waitress was great and very patient with us and always brought her drinks out right away! Service was amazing the food was fantastic and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you!!

    Great attention to detail server. She was lovely. Greater Nelly greeted us 2x this week. The way how she interacted with us makes us coming back to JA. Pleasant, lovely, sincere and we feel very welcome there. We always get the seat we ask for no matter how busy is there. Amazing customer service and welcoming atmosphere.     Overall it was a good experience. One of the meals was chicken Caesar salad. It was drowning in dressing and the diner couldn’t eat all of it due to the amount of dressing. He didn’t enjoy his meal. Way too much dressing. The server was friendly and attentive.

    The service was excellent with our meal. We then settled our bill and moved out to the patio for a drink. I had my take out container on the table and told our server to not throw it out that I was just going to the bathroom. I came back and the girl cleaning the tables threw it out.
