Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.

They sat us blocking a door to patio when there was multiple empty tables around us and then had to squish behind us multiple times throughout the night to get to customers outside.

I hardly ever dine at chain restaurants, but we went to Jack Astor’s to watch a Raptors Playoff game. My salad had so much dressing that the greens were soggy, and it looked like I had a soup when I was done with it.

Our server was wonderful. Exceptional knowledge when recommending spirits and appropriate check ins. The staff were not overbearing and having one continuous server was excellent for the experience. The food was on time and tasted as expected. Excellent ambience in this moderately quiet Jack's location. Recommended and will return. Thank you

The food was good. The kid next to us was spoiled and just a brat so it was very disruptive

Our server was a terrific young man - wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out! He was polite, fun, and took great care of us, making sure we were served with plenty of time to get to the theatre without having to rush. The food came quickly, you could tell it had not been sitting under a heat lamp - nice and hot! I also enjoy the unique plating styles!

Once we arrived there we were told that they had not received our reservation through Open Table at all, fortunately table was available, whose fault is this? Open table to JS?

Service was terribly slow. Waited for over 15 minutes before waiter gave us water and took our order. Waited for another half hour before our meals arrived.
$20 burgers, no tv screens but bar like atmosphere and 45 mins wait for food is unacceptable on a Thursday night. The restaurant was no even busy. No one at the bar. Pretty disappointed.

We found it took some time for the food to arrive. One member of the group requested no goat cheese on her veggie burger, but it came with goat cheese. My salad took a long time to arrive because they were making fresh dressing, but it was proactively removed from my bill. :)

Very good experience ... made a reservation in advance as there were 16 of us. Advised that we were in town for a high school Business Competition at the Sheraton.
They were prepared with a suitable seating arrangement for us all. Food and drinks were great as was the service. We had Drew for our table of 8 ... and the other table had another server. Drew was a agreeable, patient and pleasant server.
Apparently one of my students was able to order a beer at the other table ... which was surprising to me since everyone but me was a high school student.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would return again.

Great location (Adjacent to the Scotia Bank Theatres) makes this a GO TO VENUE for the after movie crowd.

Great food and service and a server that was very knowledgeable about Wines
and Food Pairings.

Pre theatre light dinner. Nachos were skimpy on cheese and had some sort of velveta type cheese on them as well as the small amount of shredded cheese. Certainly not worth the price we paid. Garlic loaf was bland and lacked flavour- not enough garlic butter. Diet soda came in a plastic glass that had lipstick on it. Was returned for a fresh glass with an apology.

awesome as always! We were going to a TIFF event and came in for a quick dinner before the show. Service was quick and pleasant. We requested if they could speed up our orders and they did. Food was fantastic. Fish tacos, Buffalo chicken sandwich and a calamari app, soo good!

Thanks again for a great dinner night out!

They didn't have my reservation. Seated me and then I waited forever for a waitress. Food was slow. Food wasn't the way I ordered it. No silverware was given. No drink refills. Took almost 90 minutes. We ended up being late for the baseball game.

Food was a bit bland. The back patio smelled a bit like garbage from the neighboring dumpsters which isn't the restaurants fault but still unpleasant. We didn't feel like we got our value for money here unfortunately.

Received a follow up phone call to confirm our reservation and I let them know it was for a bachelorette party. It was easy to find - we parked across the street. The table was perfect, exactly what we were hoping for. A bit quieter in the dining room area and better for all of us to talk to each other. Food was great, more than I could eat. Service was great too! Thanks for looking after us on Saturday night!

I reserved in advance as we were on vacation with 6 kids. We showed up and our servers name was Justine. She was nice and was speaking to us in French although being from the north we are fully bilingual. We advised her that we had severe allergies to nuts and peas. She then told my friend that she would not put spices on his steak. He said spices are fine, it's peas I can't have and/or nuts. He repeated this in English. We all ordered steak except for my youngest child. Our plates came and all including his was covered in snow peas. He then advised her that he couldn't have that and she proceeded to tell him that the thought he meant "poivre" which is pepper in English. He said "no, I also told you in English snow peas or any kind of peas or nuts". It was almost uncomfortable since we felt we had to argue the fact. Then, we all had to eat with our plates at a distance. I move mine closer to my son. She went to get her manager who came and said "we apologize but of course yours will be covered" then she said the reservation said severe allergies to nuts only. I pulled it up on my phone and showed her is said severe allergies to nuts AND peas. As if having to justify and have this conversation again. She then said she would give us a little bit of a discount for the inconvenience. Had she left it at we apologize I think I would feel better about this. I just felt like we had to argue the fact that we put it on the reservation AND told the server and we were still served with snow peas all around! So if you ask me how my experience was at Jack Astors Toronto. It was horrible! Never again. Our bill came and it was $211 (she removed his plate from the bill and the discount came to $47 I believe). Nothing compared to what could have happened has they had to 911 due to their lack of consideration for this allergy. I am not satisfied with the service we encountered at this location and will not be returning. Denise

Sorry to say it wasn't good. Food all came at the same time, but it was clear it was ready at different times because half of it was cold. Lots of little things failed tonight to drag the experience down. The 11 year old ordered the pepperoni pizza and it came with sliced onions on it. Obviously cooked by a chef that's never had children. Waitress was embarrassed with the delays and apologized several times for the deficiencies yet the bill wasn't adjusted. The place is popular and your meal may well be great. Ours wasn't and with a milestones right across the street we won't be back to this place.

Service was bad. Had to try and find our waiter for a second beer, then it took a long time because "they ran out of glasses". Brought our meal before the appetizer, then brought the same cold, dry meal 30 minutes later after we had eaten our appetizer.

Food was bad. Wings were greasy and small. Chicken lemon grass consisted of about 6 dime-size pieces of chicken.
