Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.

We both had burgers, and they were absolutely delicious. The fries are fantastic. Our server Jay was so pleasant and friendly. The new look is a bit busy and I miss the Elvis booth, but overall a really great experience.

Our server was wonderful but the restaurant was so loud we had to speak very loudly to hear each other at our table of four. Plus the hostess told us when she seated us that she would be back to clean up the French fries beside our booth. She never did and I had forgotten when I got up and slipped on them on the way out. I don't think I would ever go back on a weekend.

Jack Astor’s use to be a place with consistent, good quality food but it’s gone downhill. Some of the fan favs are replaced with mediocre items such as the former Shanghai bowl. The curry didn’t compare. Rubbery chicken that seemed like it was out of a package vs made fresh. Same for the goat cheese chicken wrap. Lettuce seemed close to expiry and limp and rubbery chicken. Use to be a chicken goat cheese sandwich that was amazing - real chicken breast grilled. Got a side fiesta salad - limp lettuce and soggy dressing. Seems Jack Astor’s is cost cutting and frankly it shows.

Met couple friends for lunch. We opted to be seated on the patio. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. He was very attentive to our requests due to food allergies and restrictions. It was refreshing to see the many GF options I had the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken Bowl with request to hold the garnish and nuts due to allergies. However, my meal came with a different type of garnish which I am also allergic. I had not mentioned it as it was not part of the ingredients. Our server was very gracious and understanding when I explained. He was also very helpful when the rain started spitting a little and we need to move table; he tried moving the umbrella so that we didn’t have to move but that was unsuccessful. I have been to many restaurants and it’s very rear to find a server with the quality this young man possesses. Thank you.

I initially made a reservation for 4 people, but when I phoned and hour before the reservation time, one of the male hosts kindly adjusted the reservation to 6 people, as per my request. One guest arrived 30 minutes early & she was seated in a booth by the bar. But when I arrived with the rest of the group, they said they did not see my reservation. I pulled up my OpenTable reservation to show them my confirmation number. The hostess asked another staff person to assist and eventually it was found and we were seated at a different table from where my first friend was located. I waited 30 minutes for my friend to arrive only to realize she was seated in a completely different area and had been waiting for us all this time. She eventually texted me and I found her. Jan was our waiter and the rest of the wait staff did a great job. Jan was friendly, efficient and thoughtful, as we had to watch the time to make sure we weren’t going to be late for our movie. Food was of good quality and portion. Only the side vegetables were unusually salty. Thanks much to the wait staff!

My husband and I were both looking forward to the fish and chips but didn’t enjoy it. Odd taste. Dessert selection was minimal and so didn’t have any. Server was very attentive but the music was way too loud to have a convert with our friends. Almost had to shout at each other. Really enjoyed the wonton nachos.

Server made a mistake punching in items and then had the food sent to the wrong table. She did not know until we told her. Got new nachos which were the wrong nachos. So had to tell her again. Had to wait so long for all the corrections Gave me the wrong drink but I didn’t bother to send it back. She did not smile until we paid. Will not return.

the truffles fries were lukewarm and limp. the pad Thai was so uninspiring - very bland and sticky, sticky noodles. The steak was ordered medium rare and was served well done. the servers were courteous, but an absolute lack of attention to the basics - like providing water, cutlery and having to ask multiple times for missed items.

We ordered Nachos for the table. They were burnt and when they arrived at the table cold Service was awful we had to ask three times for our drink order. After receiving our food server never came to the table until the end of the meal to ask if we are ready to settle up This was my third visit to this location and it was the same service every time I visit. I will not be going back

Jack’s is normally very good all round. Fun , ambiance service. This particular visit was extremely loud on the patio both music that was drowned out by a large table of young girls. Service was just okay , tables took long to clear, follow up was a bit slow. Not the normal service. Our server was very polite and kind but maybe a little overwhelmed / busy. We asked for extra vegetables with our food( carrot sticks and Celery sticks ) we received green beans? Have been here many times this particular visit wasn’t the best.
