Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.

In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration.

But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.

The chicken taco’s I ordered are small with barely any chicken. The chicken was extremely dry and it was more like ground chicken bits. Would have liked to see more substantial chicken slices. The ambiance and service at least was great!

It’s very loud on Friday and Saturdays due to the live DJ! You practically have to yell to hear others you’re sitting with. There are a lot of people drinking and being loud by the bar so I don’t recommend sitting near it. My server was lovely. For the price and noise i do not recommend for special occasions

Usually a phenomenal experience with no issues - there seemed to be a staff birthday party seated right next to us in the bar and all the dining staff seemed to be participating in the event therefore making service very slow - every one of our 4 meals arrived cold - refills had to be flagged down by other servers that wasn’t our table server as well as the final bill and takeout boxes. Hosting a staff event shouldn’t take away from the dining experience of others.

Good place to eat . The food is tasty Alcohol is a little expensive. One complaint is that the music is too loud and it makes it hard to have a conversation. Please turn it down a little.

We had three meals. My daughter has the sesame rice bowl chicken. There was about a total of 2oz of chicken cut up in 1/2 inch cubes. And the rest was all rice. Barely any chicken at all. I felt really under pressure with our waitress. She tried to push sales and upsell us on everything! Way too much.

We loved the new look and vibe of the bar area. It was cool to get to help choose the music that was on. We all throughly enjoyed our meals - 2 had sauces up fingers, one Asiago bowtie pasta and one Buddha salad. We also had the guac to start and highly recommend it.

Jack Astor's seems to be in the process of revamping, but it's not for the better. Seeing that fish & chips vanished from the menu, I opted for fish tacos. Very small servings. I miss the comic chalkboards that used to adorn the ceilings along with the Far Side panels that used to decorate the booths. I get that restaurants want to refresh once in a while, but changing everything removes what made Jack Astor's unique. The Pickering Jack Astor's is still intact. I think I'll head there next time -- while I still can.

Although it wasn’t busy, the staff seemed extremely rushed. Was sat down quickly, but felt we were just part of a process rather than feeling like a guest. Server was friendly, but when food and drinks were dropped off, it was literally dropped on to the table and the person walked away without saying anything. Again, server was nice but just deleted rushed.
