   Jacobs and Co Steakhouse in Toronto has undoubtedly raised the bar when it comes to exceptional dining experiences. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and treated to a culinary journey like no other. To start, we indulged in their legendary Caesar salad, which was meticulously prepared fresh at our table. Not only was it the best Caesar salad I have ever tasted, but the interactive display added an element of excitement to the dining experience. Watching the skilled server craft the salad right before our eyes was truly captivating. Moving on to the main course, both my companion and I opted for the A5 Ribeye, a 20oz masterpiece that left us speechless. Cooked to perfection, the succulent and tender ribeye showcased the expertise of the chefs at Jacobs and Co. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and it was evident that only the finest quality ingredients had been chosen. In addition to the delightful ribeye, we also decided to treat ourselves to the king crab, and it was a decision we did not regret. The king crabs were impeccably prepared, with the meat delicately sweet and perfectly cooked. It was a true seafood delight that further enhanced our dining experience. With every aspect of our visit exceeding our expectations, we can confidently say that we will be returning to Jacobs and Co Steakhouse during our summer stay in Toronto. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and extraordinary flavors make this restaurant a must-visit destination for any discerning food enthusiast.    Really amazing ambiance, service and wonderful choices for food! They offered a very large variety of halal options and were very knowledgeable on what to choose based on our preferences. The owner was very pleasant and walked around to greet the various tables - very welcoming!! Definitely recommend this spot for special occasions!

    Ordered medium rare steak. It was more on the rare side. Asked for it to be cooked more, it was overcooked (more than medium rare) when it came out. However, we did not send it back. I would recommend going to HY's instead.

    This was a terrible experience, felt like a sports bar as all the guests were talking very loud. I was not even able to hear my friend unless we shout…. Food was not special at all, no good presentation… Will not go back again

    I have considered Jacob’s the BEST pre-pandemic steakhouse. However, when spending well over $600 for a simple dinner for two with wine, I expect my server to not use the terms “bro” or “dude” to address me. Steak was “ok”, cool-to-lukewarm at best. Perhaps the kitchen team should carve the steak to be shared by two more quickly. By the way, Caesar salad should not have visible olive oil….the sauce requires mixing. Give it a couple of years to improve. For now, there are many options with equivalent cumulative points for combined food and service (“the Keg” anyone?)

    The service from the front to wait staff was excellent. Loved the Jacobs Caesar salad which was made in front of us and was definitely a big enough portion to feed 2 people. Our steaks were excellent, cooked to perfection and so tasty, the potato gratin and creamed spinach were also exceptionally good and 1/2 portions can be requested and enough to feed 2 too. We were too full for dessert. 2 individually wrapped muffins were provided for take home - a really nice touch. It is pricey but worth the splurge for a special occasion at least. This steakhouse is an experience for both its service and the quality of food.

    I do a big steak house once or twice a month. The service was great. Very attentive servers, they explained the menu and all the accomplishments. For the price I have had much better steak. I also expected ’business casual’ so I was a little disappointed when I saw several t-shirts in the room. If you are going to position your venue as a top tier steak house there are a few easy areas to improve.

    Pricey but very good. Caesar salad made at your table and it is delicious!! Steak was incredible. Sommelier comes to the table and helps pick a great wine based on your food choices and price point, overall a great experience and would definitely return.

    I was last here 2 years ago and i was blown away. Things have changed. The good: lamb and steak were excellent. The bad: the salad (over dressed); the risotto (so poor it was obvious it was not tasted before it left the kitchen). Service was adequate but not what it used to be. Ambience seems different…brighter,louder, not a romantic spot anymore.

    we had a flight of two pounds of the wagyu (Ontario, Miyazaki, Kobe) and everyone one of them always delicious!!!! Melt in your mouth good - on a stitch of salt was need - we found ourselves saying “this is the best I’ve ever had” all through the meal and let me tell we have been to the likes of EVER, Alinea, RPM, French Laundry and this meal was memorable and on par with those experiences for different reasons. The gravy was that the service was fantastic - our server was attentitive in just the right doses. We are fans - my only recommendation would be for them to buy a corvain and offer some higher end options for wine by the glass. But not a complaint just a suggestion :-)

    Very disappointed. After not having been to Jacobs in a couple years I decided to take my partner for his birthday. No ambience, it wasn't even busy on a Friday night and our steaks came out cold..sent back to "heat up". Those who know the price of a steak there can understand how upsetting this would be. The Caesar salad was awful, not as I remember it sour and soggy. We went down to the piano bar to meet friends at 10:15pm and as we got there the pianist left for the night because it was so empty. It hurt to pay that much money after such a disappointment of a meal and night. Certainly my last time, there are just too many excellent options in the city for them to not perfect every aspect of a dining experience.

    We had our wedding reception there one year ago. We decided that going back to Jacobs would be a good way to celebrate our anniversary. The Staff did an excellent job in making the occasion memorable and special for my wife.
