Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez Francois
Chef Jacques Haeringer
Amazing food and excellent service
They always please. The food is outstanding as is the service. Love this gem.
A dinner at the Brasserie is always a nice evening out! Pam, the bartender, is awesome and the wait staff is superb. Always consistently delicious!
Loved the cozy environment
Always a pleasure to dine a Jacques. Always, great food and service.
Chez Francois has been a family destination for 25 years, but the Brasserie is perfect for those nice luncheons with friends and family. My daughter and I celebrate the day after Christmas here and it never disappoints!
Never fails to deliver - we enjoyed another delicious meal at the Brasserie Jacques.
I had the Friday special, Lobster Thermidor. It was outstanding.
It is always a wonderful treat to dine at Chez François up or downstairs.
A holiday delight to have dinner in this cozy french bistro. Attentive service and delicious food. Go early if you need to be able to have a conversation. When the place fills up, it is pretty loud in there.
A great place to celebrate!
Lovely go to spot for our family milestones! Service is impeccable!
Always a good time at the Brasserie! Was there with a friend this time, but go often with my husband. It is our favorite place!
Everything is truly outstanding. They could use better chairs.
You were very crowded Sunday, which undoubtedly made things a bit slow but your staff is so attentive and warm normally that we would not criticize. I would say the omelets were a bit under-whelming. Not as flavorful as hoped. But frankly nothing could dampen my enthusiasm for your restaurant.
As always it was a wonderful experience, fine dining, fine service and great memories. Highly recommend.
a DYNAMITE RESTAURANT. hIGHLY RERCOMMENDED. Much more affordable than the upstairs L"Auberge Chez Francois.
Very cozy, nice restaurant with outstanding service and very good food.
Starting a new school for my daughter
Wonderful restaurant, food superb and service excellent!
This birthday dinner was a five-star plus experience. My friend and I enjoyed THE BEST salmon dish we have ever eaten. The vegetables were perfect - cooked just to perfection. The garlic toast with the cottage cheese spread was wonderful to start our meal. (I wish I had the recipe.) The wine was perfect and the piece d'resistance was the meringue birthday delight, shared. Our server, Pat, could not have been nicer - so professional and gracious.
We had a WONDERFUL time and will be back!
Though the establishment is a neighborhood fixture. Seems like the patrons and ambiance are all outdated. Felt like a nursing home rec room holiday party. The service was just okay. A clear difference between upstairs restaurant and downstairs bistro personnel. And worst of all the food was awful terrible and so overpriced for awful worse than diner food.
Jacques' Brasserie is just like a cafe in Alsace. Food is as good as the restaurant upstairs, and you don't have to order a five course meal. Highly recommend.
Picked the brasserie because we had other plans that night and didn’t feel like spending 3 hours doing the full 4-5 course dinner at l’auberge chez Francois.
Still had very high expectations for the place. Food was average at best, presentation of it was very bad. Place was very loud, you definitely had to be close to yelling to hear the person across the table. Maybe the old drunk people next to us were the main reason but a couple behind us with a new born baby crying didn’t help either.
Also felt very rushed out of there, check was given while still eating dessert and attempted to take it 2 minutes later at which point I never had a chance to even look at it.
Overall very disappointed with the experience we had, we will have to give it another try upstairs and hope it’s better than Jacques brasserie.
Delicious as always!
quieter downstairs than Auberge and alacarte menu is a great choice!
30th Wedding Anniversary!
Even though my husband and I were in NYC for the weekend to celebrate, our special occasion would not be the same without sharing it with L’Auberge. Our first anniversary was celebrated with you, all, Ana many, many more to follow.
Thanks for another meaningful memory!
Another great and delicious meal at the Brasserie! We always appreciate the high level of service and seeing our favorite servers again and again.
Always a great experience and amazing food. One of my favorite places!
Everything is excellent, from food to drinks to the service. A great experience!
An extraordinary restaurant with really excellent food. Its expensive, but not ridiculously so. The ambiance is cozy and nice, but my biggest gripe is the noise. Jacques is a smaller space with tile floor and the noise of diners talking sometimes just builds on itself. Hard to hear the waiter and my wife. That is the only reason I did not give it five stars. That said - GO! - its worth the time and effort to get out to Great Falls.
My wife and I have been going to Jacques' Brasserie for years and it's always five stars. Wonderfully consistent, delicious french food and attentive staff. Just the best. We always leave happy.
Doesn't matter if you like a certain type of food or not, you WILL love it here! Everything is perfect!! -the wait staff, the management, the atmosphere, and of course the FOOD.......Will be back again and again!
The crew really works to provide a nice cozy experience in the Brasserie. Danny the Maitre d, is always welcoming and personable. The food is authentic French Alsace, fresh from local vendors or Jacques garden. We love the outside patios in season, and on medium cold days they have been trying out a new covered space on the patio. You may be very close to the hustle of Northern Virginia, but this feels like you have been transported to a French country inn!
Upstairs at L Auberges, one should check out special events like wine tasting or New Years Eve.
I’ve been going to Chez Francois for over 30 years. It is my favorite restaurant and is always consistently outstanding. Jacques Brasserie stays true to the tradition of great food, outstanding service and excellent value. The atmosphere is warm and you are treated like your a real friend of the family. I always recommend both venues to my friends.
Yes would recommend t o friends, in fact take friends there quite often. Always a great evening. Thank you.
Warm and welcoming. Good food and great service. A place to linger, to converse, to enjoy dining as social experience.
Pam is the best bar tender they have ever had. Amazing with mixed drinks! Dinner is always delicious!
We'll be back next week!
Jacques' Brasserie is consistently excellent in all aspects. Every dish we have had has been superb. Deserts are to die for !
Excellent as usual!!
