We’ll miss JCT. Dined there for 13 years+. Our server Winnie was perfect. So we’re the angry mussels, friend chicken, and shrimp. They make a mean cappuccino!

My wife and I wanted to enjoy the JCT experience one last time before they closed December 31st. We are grateful to those working behind the scenes, and all the staff for making each and every visit, including our first date four years ago, a wonderful experience.

Server was rude. Didn’t bring my wife the drink she requested & didn’t bring my father-in-laws drink until he asked. We were told we couldn’t get rolls before our entrees arrived, but saw others receiving rolls we’ll before their main course came.

Came here with my fiancé to celebrate our engagement. We’re absolutely gutted that JCT is closing because it’s our favorite restaurant. Food and service is always amazing! Thank y’all so much for the memories!

We will miss JCT so, so, so, SO much. For 7+ years has been our go to for celebrations and everything in-between. We love every staff and every bite of fried chicken. Ford: pls bring the rolls to the new concept!

If you are JCT Kitchen you have to try the fried chicken. I generally don't eat fried chicken or really anything that is fried but this is one of the places where I make an exception. It is just that good! It is one of the signature dishes on the menu that never goes away and there is a good reason why it is always on the menu.

It has been awhile since I've eaten at JCT Kitchen. I was as good as I remember. Sorry that they are closing soon. But I am looking forward to the replacement restaurant in the near future.

Unfortunately it was our first time in hence they are shutting down New Year’s Eve, but glad I can say I went. Gonna miss the fried chicken & biscuits I didn’t know I needed best fried chicken I’ve had period. I know chef/owner wants to get away from the “southern thing” but he should really consider keeping the chicken in some capacity somewhere even if it’s nothing more than a walk up to-go only chicken & biscuit shack IJS.

Service began great (including a fantastic bartender) then quickly slid into abysmal as our server tended to a louder, larger party and forgot all about us (empty water glasses are a great barometer...we never received one refill) to the point that we finally had to flag a host to pay. A disappointing end to a long and otherwise delightful history with JCT.

Great for date night! I will be honest and say that I was slipping on the traditional date nights with me and my fiancé so I looked this spot up and saw the great reviews of the food. Evening was great from beginning to end! From the moment we walked in we were immediately hit with a beautiful dimming ambience of southern chic! We were quickly greeted by the host who got our table shortly after. The decor was absolutely stunning! The outdoor area was stunning! Everyone was dressed appropriately and was a missed crowd. Now to the best part, the food was REALLY good! My fiancé ordered the muscles for an appetizer, I ordered the truffle fries and both were a great way to start the dinning experience. I ordered the fried chicken while she ordered the steak for the main entree! The best fried chicken ever and her steak was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back. Prices were reasonable and there were a few children there. Drinks were good as well. MUST try!

I hadn’t been here in a few years as I don’t venture in town much anymore but decided to meet a client there. From the start it was a mess. Parking lot was insane and could hardly reach valet so was late for my reservation. What happened to the pimiento cheese? Appetizers were very underwhelming. Menu was very small. Second round of wine was different from the first round although supposed to be the same and it took at least 20 minutes from when we ordered. Fried Chicken was excellent of course. Apple Cobbler was more like cinnamon coffee cake. My car was not ready at valet after I texted from the table. When I got outside the 3 valet guys were searching for lost keys and they seemed to be scraping through drawers each time looking for customers keys. I must have waited 15 minutes once I got out there. Valet said the credit card machine was broken. Then they just plugged it in and it worked. Then you had to pay $10 and they proceeded to ask for a tip. I won’t be back....not worth the $112 I spent for 1 person to eat.

The food just wasn’t as good as usual. The fried chicken was greasier than I remembered and the mash potatoes were just average. My dates dish had a weird sweetness to it. It had been a while since we had been.

My experience as we were being checking in was not great at all but i won’t let that define the experience. Our server Salma was fantastic, she truly enjoys what she does and it shows in her service. Overall good experience.
