   We had reservations for 630 and it started raining at 5 so we tried to get in earlier but only the bar was open We ended up eating at bar and the two tables by the window was open the whole time from the time we sat down till the time I paid my bill and my reservation was for window area. To top it off the Bolognese I ordered tasted like water sauce wise both times I ordered. Clam chowder was good but watered down too. Less creamy. The steam clams with chorizo was amazing. Service other than above was great. They took care of us and was ok for the situation.

   We have had many great meals at Jimmy's. This was our first trip to Tahoe since the pandemic. We were disappointed that the outdoor patio was closed on such a perfect weather day. My Caesar salad would have been great, but it had way too much dressing.

   We enjoyed our dinner very much. The special was Ahi, and my sister and husband thought it was delicious and really liked the sauce. I had the Braised Short Robs which was also delicious with a tasty sauce and wonderful mushrooms. Then we shared a Tiramisu, which was voted the best we ever had. Thank you, wonderful dinning experience.

    Jimmy's was fantastic! We came for a group dinner and everyone had a delicious meal. I had the Bolognese which was the best I've had outside of Italy! The wait staff was also incredibly kind and accommodating, would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

    What a wonderful restaurant to have a nice, relaxing, no stress, delicious food, special meal. Beautifully set ahead of the beach and mountainous scenery. Very very nice! Highly recommended.

    Excellent location and service. Menu offerings looked good but execution was better on some dishes that others. The French dip was bland because the au jus had no flavor. It should be concentrated until it has some beef flavor. Fish tacos weren’t bad, but the fish slightly over cooked and over seasoned (and we do like spicy seasoning). One of the kids liked his hamburger. We appreciated the attentive service from our waiter.

    The food was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was lovely. As guests of the hotel, it was convenient and lovely to walk downstairs to such a fine dining experience. The service was a bit slow this evening, but the staff were courteous and kind. Overall, a great experience!

    We had to wait for our food 40 mins. And few tables from us who arrived late go their order first. Our server was in experience and clueless. Even gave us the wrong bill. For a place like this, we expected more!! No coming back!

    Absolutely loved not just our stay at the Landing and dining st Jimmy’s. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was exceptional. We got the table by the window for dinner with the sun just about to set so the view of the lake was breathtaking. Will be back for sure.

    Excellent food and top notch people make this place very special. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared. The menu is one page, but rest assured every choice is delightful. The setting and atmosphere are very pleasant. Every person we came in contact with at the Landing, and Jimmy’s impressed us. Casual, enthusiastic professionals who are sincere, and eager to please is what made the evening special for us. They helped us relax and enjoy a truly special evening. If you’re looking for excellent food and setting, without the stuffy, awkwardness of formal dining, the pros at Jimmy’s will make you comfortable. This was our first visit to Lake Tahoe. We will be back, and my first task will be making a reservation at Jimmy’s!

    Aaron our server was so nice and attentive, allowing us to linger with our friends from out of town. The salmon was perfection! Next time we will go at a time of day when we can enjoy the light and the view of Lake Tahoe.

    The manager, hostess and staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate our friend’s bday. We brought the decor and cake and the restaurant graciously “set” the table and even delivered a slice of the cake on a plate with “happy birthday”. We will go back 100%!

    The table we had was in the back with very little ambience and a large party behind us. There are much better tables (we eat there often) but they "could not change it." Food is always good but a bit pricy. Service was outstanding as usual.

    Was meant to be a special occasion - and a routine return to a restaurant we have supported over many years. Looks like Jimmy’s has decided to start charging outrageous prices for meals - super disappointing to see. We also had a family with their dog joining for dinner on the one side of our table, and another family with their kids both on iPads not bothering to use headphones on the other side of our table. Very disappointed with what used to be a place we have looked forward to going to year after year.

    Seated at 6:45. Our main courses didn’t arrive until 8:30. They were cold to lukewarm. The chicken, which has always been amazing was over cooked and inedible. The hamburger which was clearly ordered “plain/no cheese”, arrived plain but clearly had had cheese put on it and scraped off! Our son who ordered it cannot eat cheese so after waiting an hour and a half he just ate fries. The manager apologized for the chicken and the wait and explained that they had booked all large parties and the kitchen was backed up with only 4 people working in there. He also told us that he would tell “chef” about the chicken. I guess the question is if you only have 4 people in the kitchen, why book a bunch of large parties you can’t accommodate? Our party was 5. The waitress was apologetic and took the burger off the check and the chicken was refunded as well. Jimmy’s was always one of our favorite SLT restaurants. Unfortunately, that will be our last visit. It’s a shame because it was very good for a long time but seems to have gone downhill in the past year especially in terms of the quality and consistency of the food. Perhaps “chef” needs to be replaced.
