Waiter was excellent, awesome service, food delicious
The food and ambience were amazing, but the best part was our server. He was excellent.
Outstanding! Brought family from California I’m beyond, food, and views of the river.
Amazing seafood options, cocktail and wine list cannot be matched!
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!!
Took awhile to be greeted at the table. The steak was good, but the tuna we ordered was just okay.
Great food, service and view. Would recommend and we will return.
Amazing!!! Sied was a fantastic server, the pianist was beautiful. Food was well presented and delicious. Cocktail was the best!
Espectacular sabor en los platillos, una atención de primera y no dejen de probar el mundialmente famoso pastel de coco
Amazing evening! Everything was perfect- food, ambiance and our waitress. Very nice evening enjoying Detroit.
We had a wonderful evening, despite one of our guests needing to leave unexpectedly for the hospital. CJ was great. The only misstep was being told when they sat us that we would each be receiving a free dessert as the table was not ready (5 place settings instead of 6). We were told this by both our server and the manager. My son did receive a free dessert as we were celebrating his birthday, but unfortunately the rest of us were charged for our desserts. We did not say anything as it was upsetting that our guest had to leave and we had just wanted to leave by the end of the meal.
Perfect. Would recommend to all looking forward to a great dinner off the Detroit rive. From start to finish, everything was beautiful!
Everything was perfect ! Nola are matrix de was fantastic!
Great location right on the river with a view. Food is top shelf and service to match. You can’t do better for a 5 star Dining experience downtown that Joe Muers seafood and steak. But be warned your wallet will need to be full. Sometimes though it’s worth it- and this is one place to splurge.
There was a Legit Screw in my Food, Appalled, a actual piece of metal in my steak. I am a Regular Customer who spends much money here on a frequent basis and to have this happen to me at Joe Muers I have absolutely 0 words for it I honestly think they have lost a Good Paying Regular Customer after this one and it’s truly sad because I liked that place a lot for their quality and service but after last night I have 0 words for what happened I do know I will likely not be back unfortunately.
Ramone was lit. Solid service.🎉🤘🏽
Everything was perfect as always!
The worst service I have had in metro Detroit EVER. It took nearly an hour for appetizers to come out, of which the hot appetizer was COLD. Oysters which take minutes to shuck came out after the HOT appetizer, an hour+ in. Staffing was not an issue as there were numerous staff standing around doing who knows? Service was the issue, or lack there of.
We were in town for The Rolling Stones. Food and service were outstanding. We will be back!
Very pleasant evening, great service and excellent food.
Lobster bisque was not as good as it once was. Whitefish seemed undercooked. Lots of scales and bones.
Seduce was phenomenal as was the view.
Joe Muer never disappoints!! We love it everytime.
Our table could not be any worse. Up aginst the wall .The table of ladies next to us had thier walkers parked at one end of the table ,next to the bucket which held the water bottles.Food was so-so and Floor manager (? )came over twice to ask us if everything was allright? We asked to be moved and was told no other tables were available. No one was ever seated at the open tables while we dined. Istared at an empty coffee cup most of my meal
Steak and Brussels Sprouts were burnt. Rest of the food was delicious. Wanted to celebrate my birthday.
It was tremendously overpriced for the quality of food. I don't mind paying the price but I want top quality food in taste & appearance for that price. It was either. Service was excellent. It is a beautiful restaurant.
Excellent food good service but very loud in the restaurant
Too expensive to say it was worth it. Service was just ok.
Everything was great. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was amazing.
I had a wonderful time. The lobster bisque soup was delicious!
Great service, food and overall experience. The venue is quite loud, but not distracting from an overall terrific night.
Outstanding service from Tamika and the rest of the staff! Lovely dinner with a great view.
Live Joe Muers! My mother in law had an awesome 90th birthday lunch. Ramon, our server, was outstanding! The food, as always, was excellent. My fave Columbus, manager, always dies an awesome job of hospitality as well.
It was SO beautiful and the customer service was great. My guests from out of state were very impressed with the area in Detroit and it was overall really impressive.
Good food great service!
Our waiter was so nice ! Food was amazing! I cannot wait to go back
Beautiful setting overlooking the Detroit River and Canadian shoreline. Great service, easily accommodated special request. Best lobster bisque! Menu not as extensive as it used to be (pandemic?), but still nice selection.
I would have given a 5 Star rating. But when I arrived there was a mix up in communication regarding our reservation. We were told that they were running behind in seating and to wait at the bar or lounge. I noticed, two other non African American couples that came in after my husband and I were seated upon their arrival. I went to the hostess stand to inquire. I was told by a different lady that our reservation says, "8pm" and the other couples had 7:30pm reservations. I corrected her and said, " he have 7:30pm" I had to explain to her before we arrived, I called and said that we may be late and what was the protocol. The lady on the phone told me to make sure that I arrived before 8pm. She didnt say that she changed my reservation. So, when I arrived at the restaurant at 7:20pm, I said we made it and the hostess responded by saying, I have you guys checked in and they were running a little late. So she didn't apologize, she said let me speak to her and dismissed us. We went and sat back down and a few minutes later, she came and seated us. I put in the request section of the reservations, that it was our anniversary. I would think that we would have a nice table. No, she sat us right by the kitchen. I was not pleased. Very sad by the lack of empathy from the hostess. I was very excited when I made the reservation only to be met with such disappointment. My husband asked to be moved to another table. We were denied at first by the Manager and was offered free desert. My husband said no and wish to change our seats. I had to explain what happened. Afterwards, the manager said, let me see what I can do. The manager, Mike was very accommodating after I shared what happened. We had a cozy seat surrounded by other couples and our waiter, Noah, was excellent. He and Mike made sure our stay was nothing less that excellent!!
The hostesses are the first point of contact and it is very important to make sure that ALL guest feel welcomed.
Very nice restaurant. We had a great time. We were celebrating a special occasion and they highlighted it, this was a nice touch that we appreciated very much. The food was fantastic. The lobster bisque was out of this world. The ambiance is also very old-school and luxurious. We will be back.
