The seating process was very selective in the poorest sense. Half hour late with the claim that we didn't check in together, where I cleary heard my wife saying we were all there. When I double checked why it was taking long, he claimed we didn't check in together. My kids asked why others who had similar size parties and checked in afterwards were seated first. Only difference was how we looked. Actual service during dinner was great, terrible initial experience.
It was my birthday and I was out with the guys. The staff at Joe’s was up for the challenge! We were starving. Our waiter was attentive, witty and all that. We always can count on Joe’s for a great time. Thank you.
It was my daughter's college graduation. The four of us were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and our server Colleen couldn't do enough for us. The meal and service was the best we have had in quite a while. Thank you. We will definitely come again very soon!
We were at Joes to celebrate birthdays. The service by Denise was superb and the food was excellent. We love coming to Joes when we visit Chicago

The food was exceptional! The service was absolutely wonderful! We had our 6 year old grandson with us and he was treated very well. Loved the snow crab, sea bass and oysters on the half shell. Dessert was delicious. I would spend my birthday here again!

At risk of sounding like my sTEMP_OC_CONTENT_HEREamp;t doesn’t stink..... I had the 60 day dry aged ribeye. I expected the world out of this, but didn’t quite live up to the expectations. My brother raves about it. A bit Chewy, kinda fatty, but good flavor. The steak “Oscar” my wife had was better. Key lime pie, PHENOMENAL!!! Charred octopus, delish!! Madagascar shrimp? Decent but not worth the price. Drinks awesome! Dave, our waiter, was very pleasant. Am I wrong for wondering.... if I’m going to pay quite a bit of money for dinner, would it be too much to ask that they have some type of dress code? Could be a bit over the top, but same thing happened to another restaurant I used to frequent, needless to say, quality of food went down. Overall, I would go back.
First time there and it was fabulous! Had a delicious Dover Sole, while others had other fish entrees. Everyone was delighted with their choices and the fresh veggies. Crab Bisque was stupendous and wish I had gotten a bucket to go. Looking forward to returning.
