   Be careful when u order as the menu description sufficiently descriptive.. the crab Louie salad actually has a mixed crab style ‘salad’ mixed with a vinegarette and then served over a bed of baby lettuce. It comes with Louie dressing but you don’t know about the vinegarette which has a very off putting taste. Also the lunch steak sandwich has a sauce inside that doesn’t pair well with the side of au jus. Overall very disappointing lunch at a very expensive price. Love joes for dinner but not lunch

   We have been coming to Joe's for a number of years and have never been disappointed. Tim greeted us as usual, with a great smile and great banter. Steve, our server, was extremely kind, professional and accommodating. Steve made an accommodation for a relative of ours who was running very late. Steve took care of us to make sure our party felt special. No need to mention the food; excellent as always. Thank you again to Joe's and the staff.

    This dinner was the only reservation we planned before leaving. The reviews I read were good, so I thought I made a great choice. The main reason I selected Joe's was that they had crab bisque. We had a 5 p.m. reservation before a show.. We arrived about 20 minutes early and had to wait until 5:00 for the dining room to open. Their website says "upscale casual" dress code, which is how we dress. Many people in the main dining room were wearing T-shirts and shorts. A few minutes after being seated, our waiter came to the table. We had more than enough time to review the menu and promptly ordered. We wanted to try as much as possible, so we ordered both soups, crab bisque, and Manhattan clam chowder. When the soups came to use, they made a mistake and gave us two bisques. It took a few minutes to get someone's attention on the mistake. They returned the "wrong" soup to the kitchen and brought us the clam chowder. I thought that it was strange that they took it back. Usually, they leave it. The reason we came, the bisque, was disappointing. You had to hunt for any pieces of crab in the bisque. It tasted good despite the lack of crab meat. For dinner, my husband ordered the Filet Oscar, 6 oz. Filet Mignon, King Crab, Asparagus, Bearnaise Sauce. The filet was well cooked, but you don't get much crab. I ordered the Grilled Seafood Platter. My seafood was very charred, and you didn't get to taste the seafood. They did not bring my baked potato with my dinner, and I had to remind them. The potato was not fully cooked and didn't taste like a great Idaho baked potato. We passed on dessert because of the overall disappointment in our dining experience. When the check came out, three soups were on our check. We had to notify the waiter of the mistake. He corrected the check, and we paid the check (still with a 20% tip) and left. It was disappointing that we had so many mix-ups during our dinner. It is not what I expected. They were not busy when we were there.
