   Food was very good and always a great atmosphere when we visit. Usually stop once per trip as the value is amazing and every dish tastes amazing!

   My husband and I went to dinner at Joey’s. We are from Florida and we had never been to the Vancouver area. When our waitress, Kass, introduced herself she was so sweet and friendly. Throughout the evening Kass provided so many great suggestions for our visit and went above and beyond to write down a list of wonderful places to see. She was amazing!! We also had another waitress, Sky, who was also fantastic! The food and drinks were yummy and prices were good. I have to say that what will bring us back to Joey’s will be the kindness and sweetness of Kass. She just made our evening and also provided a special treat for us at the end of our meal. Kudos to Kass!!!!

   Was there for Mother’s Day with my Son. Our meal was amazing and the crème brulee cheesecake for desert was fabulous.

   Sometimes, I love it here and sometimes it's a miss. Today was one of those misses. I don't want to be harsh in my review as I can only imagine what the staff had gone through prior to my arrival (mother's Day lunch / brunch). However I have to say the host, server and manager on for happy hour just seemed "over it". While again I understand the day they just had there still needs to be a level of professionalism which was not there. The host seemed annoyed, the service was slow, the manager seemed indifferent.

   Made reservations for dinner with friends while visiting Vancouver. There are several Joey restaurants in the city, but this one has availability. We were seated in the back lounge area which worked out great because it was quieter and brighter- the front restaurant was a younger crowd - very vibrant. We had a really sweet waitress who was a native of Vancouver and she was terrific- not too much, but attentive and funny. The food was excellent as well. A varied menu of steak, sushi and pasta. Everyone found something to their liking.

   New test kitchen item, chicken fried rice bowl, very unappetizing, too much sauce. Only took a few bites, do not recommend. The roasted corn guacamole made up for it. Delicious! Lovely wait staff, went the extra mile to accommodate our service dog.

    The experience overall was mediocre. Due to previous reviews, I was expecting more. Food arrived quickly but overall quality and taste just okay, nothing special. Three tiny (size of palm) short rib tacos cost $25.00 and although tender contained a lot of fat on the very small portions of meat. The appetizer, gyoza was the best thing we ordered. My husband said his pasta tasted ‘pretty good.’ The service was disappointing. There was no checkin in from the server until we had finished our dinner. The restaurant is in a great location and was walking distance to our hotel. Overall, not a memorable dining experience.
