    Everything was absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent. The service was beyond awesome. The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu. It was a very enjoyable experience.

    Service and food was fairly good although the fish was a little overcooked. Pasta was excellent as was the starter salad. Seating was very tight and was almost like sharing a table with another couple. Overall value wasn’t there from my perspective compared to other similar restaurants.

    One of the best seafood dinners I’ve ever had! Everything was prepared perfectly. The staff was superb and made us feel so special. It was a perfect dining experience and I will definitely be back!

    My new favorite restaurant in Toronto. We had just come back from Italy, and the seafood served here was better than any seafood abroad. I had no idea shrimp could taste this good. Service was impeccable, ambiance was eclectic yet homey. I want to live at this restaurant. Thank you!!

    Joso's is a well established restaurant with good service and excellent food. It's a little crowded with tables close to each other so it's difficult to have a private conversation.

    Service: Excellent waiter very attentive not over bearing very polite and helpful. Decor/Ambience: Very fun wall and things to look at while you eat.Bathroom is also fun. Music was traditional to the chefs heritage and created a nice atmosphere. Food: Bread was not warmed up unfortunately. Was offered tap or bottled sparking/water. Shrimp and fried calamari was average came with a homemade spicy sauce that was nice. The famous black squid ink pasta did not have much flavour which is unfortunate as i really heard good things. The octopus salad and grilled octopus was amazing and would definitely order that again and i recommend it for anyone who is an octo lover. I would come back and get the octopus and maybe try one of the fish options or maybe lamb still a great place and i would give it a chance again when i have the chance.

    Best place I've eaten in Toronto in a long time. Friendly, not fussy. Amazing, warm and knowledgable staff. Great Croatian wines. Eclectic and fun vibe. Nice intimate setting.

    Jodo’s Is a very fine Portugese seafood style restaurant where everything is served extremely fresh. This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for over 30 years and it is very consistent in quality and service. I always try to take my guests that I entertain to this restaurant as I know, they will appreciate the excellent seafood service and ambience.

    Amazing authentic Croatian food, very fresh and a great switch up from the many Italian restaurants in the city. Great ambiance! Despite watching My Octopus Teacher the grilled octopus is a must try.

    Upon entering Joso’s we were warmly greeted by Paul. He made sure that we had the perfect location for my friend’s birthday celebration. The food and service are great. There are lots of excellent choices on the menu that can be shared. There is an impressive selection of fresh fish. There is also a wonderful selection of wines that complement the food. Two of us shared the Calamari. One person had the Smoked Trout Salad and the other person ordered the Tomato & Bufala. For our mains two of us had the Grilled Prawns, and the others had the Grilled Sardines and the Grilled Octopus. Everyone in our party loved every dish we had. The desserts were also delicious. Another plus is the staff. The service is seemless and professional. Our server, Shirka, provided excellent service. When we asked what choice of Croatian wine would complement our food choices, she suggested one that was an excellent choice with everyone’s dish. It was so nice to have someone who was knowledgeable to assist us with our wine and food choices. Shirka’s friendly and professional manner as well as her excellent suggestions were appreciated. She made us feel at home and our party had an enjoyable dining experience thanks to her. Once you have eaten here you will look forward to returning because the food is fresh and delicious and the service is first class.

    We've been going to Joso's for years and the food and service never disappoint! We just returned from a 3 week trip to Europe, visiting 5 countries and 15 cities, but dinner at Joso's was the best meal we had! Highly recommended!

    Always a must dining stop on every trip to Toronto. Excellent food and service with “unique” decor. We have been fans for years and they never disappoint. Mohammed was our server this time and he was a joy to interact with. He also helped us with the very unique Croatian wine selection and his recommendation was excellent. Paul was helpful upon arrival, but gets a “way above and beyond” recognition when we returned to the Royal York Fairmont hotel and discovered my wife had left her jacket in the restaurant. Paul found the jacket and delivered it to the hotel late that evening (assuming on his way home). Saved us a lengthy walk or expensive cab rides back and forth. THANKS AGAIN PAUL! We will visit again on our next trip to Toronto and buy you a drink!

    From wines to apps to the main, it was an amazing dinner! We've had Tomato & Buffala to start, followed by squid ink pasta, Siciliana. For the main, we've had Boca Negra and Octopus. The fish was seasoned and grilled to perfection and the octopus was tender, moist and a full of flavour. Definitely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat!

    My partner and I went here for our 6th anniversary & we were greeted by attentive staff who did everything to make our first experience special. The food & ambience were exquisite, highly recommend the alla leonardo spaghettini! Overall a 10/10 for us.
