Love this restaurant. Especially Monday night special rack of lamb. Plus the lobster and beet salad amazing. Excellent service from Jenna and as always so welcoming and fun.
The food was good but the restaurant was very loud and crowded
I often frequent Jump for business lunches. Typically services is extremely quick which allows for a one hour lunch, accommodating a busy schedule.
Food is always on point, delicious specials and one of the best places you can order a great sandwich if you’re in the mood.
This visit service was surprising slow. Soups arrived as expected. Mains arrived 15+ later. Everyone around us, including those who’d arrived after use were already eating.
Great service and a lot of options on the menu. Quick lunch!
Amazing place to go for business and formal meals. Great food, prices are not bad and service is always top notch!
Great staff and good food.
Can never go wrong with a meal at jump!
The Food is always top notch, the staff are friendly and helpful.
No matter the occasion, jump will impress any friend, client or date.
Hi Jonathan, Thank you so much for your kind words and endorsement! Glad to hear you had another great experience with us last week. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. - Jump
Pasta was luke warm and hard and not cooked al dente... very unpleasant food... did not want to return plate due to time pressure on a business lunch
We had a great dinner at this consistently excellent restaurant. Food wonderful (lobster salad and rack of lamb) and service so much fun with Kate and Zosia looking after us .
The food is amazing!! The entree names on menu look nothing different from other places, but when you really try it you will be surprised how tasteful and special they are. Recommend the popular ribs and spaghetti.
However, the dessert is quite disappointing. It’s like supermarket food.
In general the service is good. It has cost checking, detailed introduction and recommendations. The only thing is that my server didn’t properly split the bill...
The food is spectacular! We tried the beet salad, tuna tartare, daily special, steak and the vegan bowl! Flavors were diverse and paired well together. Wine list also had a nice range in both options and prices - we had a great bottle of Pinot! Unfortunately, our waiter couldn’t be bothered to come to our table-we sat and sat and sat - to order wine, to order apps and dinner, to clear plates, to order dessert and finally to get the bill - it was like he purposely walked the other way so he wouldn’t have to come to our table. We finally had to call the manager over after sitting forever to get our bill (while we watched the waiter do side-work in the kitchen).
Our lunch experience was a great one. I want to give a shout out to the wait staff, they were fantastic - courteous and attentive. Food was delicious.
Jenna our waitress and the hostess (polish women) were both amazing. So good.
Great spot for a business lunch. Would highly recommend.
Really fun evening with friends for dinner. Food was terrific and the service amazing. We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable. Will definitely be back.
Went to The Jump for Valentines Day Dinner and had the 4 course special for the special occasion. Food was great and the service was great too. There was also a nice ambience in the restaurant.
Service was very good, as was the food, although I thought my black cod was a bit overcooked, however, my wife said hers was fine. Some of the presentations were a bit sloppy and the orders arrived a bit too quickly, but overall quite good.
My husband and I participated in the Valentine's Day Prix Fixe Menu so I cannot comment of the regular menu. The two of us tried to order two different choices in an effort to maximize our tastings. The end result was that many of the elements were delicious but as a whole, the choice were too rich and there were no choices that provided any respite from the richness of the menu. Overall, I was disappointed since the experience was on the very expensive side for two people. I'll know better next time.
Jump delivered on its promise. Made our Valentines Day extra special.
Let me start by saying the good was absolutely amazing. Nothing was over or under cooked and I ordered 4 different kind of meats. The chef and menu are great. The reason why I could not provide a high rating is because I went there with a date and the service was tired. It felt rushed and forced but it could have been because the waiter had served many people that day . Anyways when you pay alot for fine dining the serving experience is a big part of it and this place missed it for me .
Service was fantastic and food was ok
There were 4 of us, enjoying the food and the ambience. Food was great, service of our waiter was terrible. Never came around to check up on us. I had to continuously ask or call him over to take a drink order... didn’t smile, didn’t care whether he was there or not. Also it took almost 40 minutes in between entries...And didn’t bring back my change until I had to once again call him over to bring it. Even then he disclosed the amount of the bill in front of my guests, as if to attempt to embarrass me about asking for the change. What he failed to understand was my guests didn’t even want to leave a tip.... a tip is not expected, it is earned... its a shame, because of one person that works there, I won’t attend this place ever again... food was great, but there are many other restaurants in Toronto that also serve great food with great service. Don’t get me wrong, I’d still recommend this place to others. I can’t tell another person not to attend. They might have a better server and can also enjoy the food... but as for me? I’m good to attend elsewhere
It was okay nothing out of the ordinary
Valentines dinner for 2 here was excellent. We tried the set menu of 4 courses and added a bottle of sparkling. Service very professional, food very good with thoughtful and unique plating presentation. We experienced a minor issue with one dish and managent mitigated our concern promptly. Highly recommend for any special or business occasion.
the service was terrible. waiter was extremely unfriendly
The Valentine's menu was fabulous and fun! O&B always offers dishes that are prepared to delight! Portion sizes are healthful - ingredients fresh and healthful.
We ate there during the last night of Winterlicious. Overall we had a good evening but we do have some feedback on the food. First off was the gumbo soup which was served lukewarm, quite greasy and contained microscopic shrimp and other ingredients. Call it what you want, but not gumbo.
The other was the truffle Mac and Cheese which had no truffle flavour and the sauce had thin, almost watery consistency.
Other than those two items, we enjoyed our evening
I went to Jump for winterlicious. 3 course for$43 is pretty good deal. Food was excellent. The service was beyond expectations. The only part that was less enjoyable was the chocolate banana bread dessert. This course was good, but was not as great as the other courses in terms of taste and presentation.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the lighting was perfect, the noise levels from other patrons was minimal, and the seating is very comfortable. It was too easy to sit and order drinks and keep talking which I assume is the reason the chairs are so comfortable. Lol
We participated in Winterlicious 2020 and found the apps to be okay. We all ordered the mushroom ricotta tart and we expected it to be warm but it was cold which was a bit disappointing. The main course was tasty and filling which we can all agree on. The dessert which was a baked cheese tart was very rich but according to my friends delicious. I had the oat milk pudding and it was pretty good.
I have been before and usually every dish is phenomenal but this visit was a bit disappointing for me and my friends. I think another visit is in order so that I can restore their trust in my restaurant selections! Until we meet again.
Typical OB restaurant ... Nothing special ...
Soup had no flavour
Ordered extra dish Mac and cheese they charged $25 when a meal on Winterlicious was around that price for 3 courses ... NOT COOL !
This turned me off from trying any other OB restaurant!
We had the Winterlicious menu, so the value is kind of already there. However, the black truffle Mac and cheese was definitely not as advertised. It was more of a cream/oil based sauce and had very minimal flavour. Had to ask for parm and s&p to make it have some sort of flavour. The mushroom tart was the best thing we had, and the banana chocolate bread pudding was a warm muffin with chocolate sauce. Very friendly staff though!
The service was AMAZING - all of the staff were so lovely. The food, however, was average at best. Nothing special, no interesting flavors.
Disappointed specifically in the Winterlicious menu, size and value. It appears they joined but didn't want much to do about getting the food right. Mac and cheese had poor presentation and lacked flavour. The whole group were unimpressed with the food overall.
Easy to make reservation for a large group, great food, service is slow, took 2 hours for winterlicious lunch
What an amazing meal for Winterlicious! We had a lovely evening, from the ambiance and decor of the restaurant to the friendliness of the staff. Food was delicious! Would totally do it again!.
Our family of 4 dined from the Winterlicious menu - we were very pleased with the variety to choose from, including vegetarian options. The meal was exceptional. Service was pleasant and attentive, but we felt very rushed. Winterlicious has a 2 hr limit, so we knew that we couldn't linger, but our max 90 minute visit in a near empty section was a bit surprising.
We look forward to returning on another visit to Toronto, and will recommend Jump to our friends.
Great restaurant and fantastic staff. We took advantage of the Winterlicious menu and were not disappointed!
Great winterlicious menu. The Mac and cheese is incredible and even has shaved black truffle on it. Amazing at the price point . Excellent service as well.
The 5 star rating says it all. This visit was for Winterlicious.
