We went for an early dinner on a Friday, good energy.
Service was great and food was amazing!
I would only recommend if the person was interested in getting their meal quickly and they didn't care about value. $3 for a glass of flat water is ridiculous especially when you don't tell customers that you are going to charge them for the water.
Pretty unique menu so we ordered a bunch. The bacon wrapped scallops were ok but small and a bit bland. The gnocchi and short rib both had great taste. The sirloin and crab was underwhelming. The steak wasn’t cooked well and crab had little flavor. Dessert was solid.
Food not fresh. A $50 steak came with reheated aspagus and fries. The fish my wife ate was not freah neither. I could not sleep that night after eating the food, it kept a bad taste and could not digest it easily.
Atmosphere/people: sat next to 2 table where people were swearing all the time while talking. The ambiance felt a bit getto.
Overall definitely not a place u want to take your other half to and have a descent dinner. No wonder why 75% of the table were empty in a friday night..
Thank you for making the dining experince a postive one. As always i commend the staff for their professionalism.
Wonderful lunch with an old friend. The food was delicious and we had a lovely quiet spot to chat. Service was great. One of my favourite spots to eat in Toronto.
He menu was outdated and one meal was tasteless (they did take that meal off the bill once we brought it to their attention. It was spring break and the restaurant was not very busy yet we felt rushed by the server - not pampered.
We found the food uneventful and the decor dark and corporate. This use to be one of our favourite spots in the 90s but things have definitely changed and not for the better.
Excellent food and service as always. Jump never disappoints.
Wild mushroom soup was very flavourful and very full bodied. My daughter had the scallops which were done to perfection but we’re $26.00 for 2 scallops ( a little pricey for an appetizer in my opinion)
The steak special with ravioli was excellent .... the steak was tender and done to perfection
I will return to Jump, but I am also looking forward to trying Oliver Boncini’s other restaurants
Great setting. Warm and not too loud. Our server was outstanding and the meals were great.
Delicious food, as always.
Super evening at Jump. Great vibe and fantastic food. Lobster salad amazing, rack of lamb perfect and good size portions. And then there are cheesecake in pastry and choc mousse desserts. Loved the service from Petra and also how the whole team works together to make sure you are always well looked after. A really classy restaurant without being stuffy !
Great before the game. Fish and healthier choices than a mere steakhouse
I called before booking that you have vegetarian options too?
The lady told me we have so many options for vegan people. But when we get there 2 of my friends couldn’t find anything good In vegan food. Very disappointed. I was meeting them very first time but really embarrassing.
You should have told us before instead saying “ we have vegetarian options”
Overall it was good.
The surf and turf was delicious. It wasn't big by any standard. The 'surf' was one prawn. Our waitress was very helpful.
Would def recommend this restaurant. Great food and very attentive service. We will def go back.
Dined with a group on a special event. Service was excellent and very customer focused. Some of the diners were a little disappointed, remarking that the portions were disappointing, especially with the Surf n' Turf. I usually take clients for alcohol-less lunch during the week so didn't notice that wine for the evening was overly expensive. Two guests ordered by glass which exceeded the cost of a bottle of wine - though we didn't ask, most high end restaurants downtown usually are proactive and reflect the cost of a bottle as a gesture rather than the cost of single glasses, especially since the bill was over $500. I would recommend their lunch service if time is important but if you are looking for an overall experience for a relaxing dinner where the place is firing on all cylinders, it misses the mark.
First class experience. We loved the food and the service was amazing. Can't wait to go back
Jump has a cozy upscale ambiance, great food and lovely attentive staff. We enjoyed a small family get together when our daughter and her husband were in Toronto. It got late in the evening but we did not feel rushed at all and still enjoyed some wonderful desserts. Thanks for giving us a lovely evening.
Food was very poor based on expectations and past experience from over 5years ago. Service was good. Strange to find it so empty on a Friday night at 7pm, did not need a reservation, which we did have. Very little atmosphere.
I really suggest the owner or chef to step out and try some foods - specially steaks- in other restaurant!
High price, ignorant waitresses, awful food
never go back to this restaurant.
Valentines dinner date was really delightful. A special seating request was handled well, and we were delighted with the table. The staff was very attentive, and gave us time to finish our appetizers while we exchanged valentine’s gifts.
The food was spectacular, albeit a bit pricey, but it was a special occasion.
This was our second visit, and we would certainly return again. It was most enjoyable.
What a great evening. Took a friend and she was blown away by the excellent food, super service (from Kate) and great atmosphere. The short rib is HUGE and amazing. Lobster salad really tasty and interesting and then there was a special choc dessert - YUMMY !!!!
It was a great location and Ambience for a perfect business meal.
Good was absolutely delicious.
Our server Michael was knowledgeable on wine pairing and such a pleasure.
I would highly recommend it!
I thought the food was fantastic, but came with a work group and many of the guys had negative comments about the portion sizes being too small. Particularly the surf & turf which they expected to be bigger than what was presented. Otherwise, fabulous!
Great dinner. Lobster salad amazing - loved the minigrill chops which they very kindly modified for me. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff. A fun evening going on with birthday parties and a great mix of guests. Such a friendly place and the service from Petra was a highlight.
Excellent evening. Our dinner server was great, knowledgeable, gracious and very attentive. Our first hour though was spent have drinks at the bar as the bartender wasn't friendly at all with our party of 4.
The food was fantastic, though pricey for the portion sizes, though that really didn't affect our overall feeling that it was a wonderful evening.
Great Winterlicious menu. Excellent service. Nice for a relaxed dinner with friends.
Best experience I’ve had in a very long time. Food was well above our expectations and the service was outstanding. Thanks Jump!
Great service as always. Appetizer on the winter licious menu – cured salmon – was not good and returns. Server happily replaced it with soup.
Tried the wonterlicious menu for lunch and enjoyed everything I ate - cured wild salmon appetizer, dill marinated trout and finishing it off with a warm toffee pudding. A filling and satisfying meal - thanks Jump team for a lovely meal!
Generally happy with O&B but noticed this time food was cold and the taste wasn't great. My friend who came to dine with me felt the same. Feels like quality has gone down. Also, we felt very rushed and didn't ask for the bill and the bill came while the dessert didn't even arrive.
Our waiter was most pleasant and very service was excellent. The level of noise was a little loud, but it was a very busy time of day. The bourbon beef ribs were the most tender pieces of meat we have EVER had! The meat fell apart and was so moist. I would love the recipe! I am trying to find a recipe similar to it to serve at home. The soup was delicious and the sticky toffee pudding, my son and I ate it so slow to enjoy every bite. My son had the pork belly and he found that although the pork belly was small, it was very good. He did find the pork belly at Canoe was larger, and was hoping it would be the same. All in all, it was a wonderful night out for me with the two men in my life, my son and husband. It gave us time to share conversation, laughter and super good food. Thank you so much for a night to remember!
The food and service was outstanding.
The table lacks basic salt / pepper mills.
Food selection for lunch is very limited.
Dishes aren’t marked off vegan or gluten free.
Other than that, surroundings are comfortable , meal presentation is attractive
Seemed pretty manufactured - almost like a chain restaurant with the $$ prices of a nicer place.
Fast service.... but too fast - like everything was basically prepped for expo and ready to be in a servers hands immediately
Excellent Winterlicious menu. Great vibe and top notch service.
Three courses were tasty, well-presented and without a wait for the next course. Service was efficient and friendly.
