Excellent service and ambiance.
I have been told it's much improved since previous times.
There was plenty of space for us. We could hear each other talk, the noise level was perfect. I did like the music being played (background music, not live, not loud). It contributed to the conversation even.
The server was knowledgeable. They were very careful regarding our allergies. The portions were perfect (a little too much for us, but if there were guys at the table, they'd be full).
They kept our water glasses filled with options of tap, filtered or bottled without making us feel like paupers. (We did order drinks, and they were reasonably priced for this kind of venue).
The food was delicious and perfectly presented. It was not our usual fare (imaginative).
They even prettily decorated a dessert for our birthday girl.
This was an excellent experience.

Summer Delicious menu was very well balance. My wife and I and completely different selection and we both very enjoy them. If I had to say something would be beer selection, but I knew that before going in so this is just and fyi for anyone looking for beer. The wine selection is extensive and for everyone one :) (price and taste wise)

We did lunch at Jump on Friday June 19th during Summerlicious. Our appetizers were great..cold watermelon soup! I loved my entree (curried salmon with rice and green beans), but my friends found the gnocchi a bit bland. We sampled all 3 dessert options and voted the lemon tart as the best, with the chocolate cake second and the banana pudding third....but all were good. We were able to get a reservation for 2:30 which accommodated our flight arrival and we went straight to Jump after dropping off our luggage in our hotel. As a result of our dining timing, we did not find the noise level an issue, as I had read other reviews identified, but the restaurant was not very busy at that hour on a Friday afternoon. I would definitely recommend Jump, and plan to dine there again when in Toronto.

Jumps room is tired.. Food to simple and cheap. I understand great restaurants have small menus so the kitchen can focus on creating fresh and amazing food but in this case it translates to poor options, poorly executed with average ingredients. Oliver should invest money, energy and imagination back into this Toronto landmark.

Good food, good service, interesting Summerlicious menu. Way too noisy for us. I know that's the style now, but sometimes people might want to have a conversation and actually hear each other. Maybe you could create a few quiet nooks for that.

During Summerlicious 2019, I visited Jump on a Monday, had a good experience so I chose Jump for a lunch on the following Thursday. It was like night and day, where the Thursday lunch was terrible: an hour to receive the main course, and when it arrived, the salmon was put in a pool of liquid, and the gnocchi was semi warm. We had to get our lemon tarts to-go in order to make it back to work within an hour and a half. Not sure if we were forgotten or what.

Lovely spot ! Food excellent for Summerlicious with good draft beer choices.
Only complaint is music choice.
It was extremely loud and distracting for conversation.
Light background music much better for conversation

Had a lovely lunch - salmon with skin and the cob salad. Service excellent .
The only downside is its extremely noisy at lunch hour - you have to yell to be heard

I think the miss for JUMP is that its potential for great trade mark foods is lost on the seating choice. Staff is friendly. I guess its just one of those things when you’ve been to Canoe, Sultans Tent or even Susur you get used to a certain je ne sais quoia quality. But if you want to meet up with a glucose gaurdian or splenda daddy I guess its fine for an hour. The service is fast. The drinks were weak and its too bad because if you ask for a ceasar in Toronto it should have a bite to it. Especially when its a double shot. in the end Jump great food. Would have stayed for more if we were seated by a window or a crevice; not by the kitchen.

Usual quick service was non-existent (not the server's fault). Main course took 30 minutes to arrive after starter. Realize that it is Summerlicious (which we did not have) but it took forever. Usually in and out in 45 minutes but yesterday it was an hour and 15. Very disappointing

Exceptional good service
We were not an easy group but the waitress (I forgot her name) was amazing. Food excellent. We sat on the patio, very good ambiance, but I got to go back for the dining room experience, beautiful decor!

I love Jump, but the food was not nearly as good this time - just not quite as fresh as usual in terms of crispy, crunchy etc - you could tell it had been prepped much much earlier ( it was hot so not a server issue.) The dessert was soggy and the garnishes wilted...mine and my companions.

Jump is one of my favourite restaurants in the financial district. Service is always professional, consistent and friendly, and after dozens of visits, I have never experienced an issue with my food. The regular menu always has something on offer that meets my parties dietary needs and preferences and summer and winterlicious meals are an absolute must do every year! My daughter looks forward to any trip into the city and the staff treat her like any other adult customer rather than a teenager who's a little out of place at a fancy restaurant and both she and I really appreciate that.

Excellent Summerlicioius menu. We had the tomato starter and the watermelon soup - both brilliant and then the salmon & scallops on wild rice with a really tasty chutney, curry sauce (not spicy). Lemon tart great dessert. Really impressed with the quality and quantity. Will definitely go back for more. The service was top level and loved sitting on the patio.

What a great job Jump has done with their new patio. A gorgeous space and perfect for a summer's dinner. Especially enjoyed their choice of music. Gave such a fun vibe. Food was excellent - Steak and lobster perfect and as always the service charming and top level from GM Leanne to our server Kate. They always have such interesting people working for them and we had a great time with the young man who was our SA.

Good with one exception. The host put our menus down on the table before we arrived and put them under a side plate. When I sat down I nudged the menu and the slide plate went crashing down to the ground, disturbing everyone around us. Pretty embarrassing. Would suggest you hand menus to people after they sit when you’re dealing with small tables.

Jump is an upscale bistro; a cross between a steakhouse for businessmen (with a great bar, by the way)
and a trendy restaurant. My sea bass entree (served with a wonderfully moist asparagus risotto) was excellent. My dining companion’s jerk chicken, the special that day, was twice the size...she couldn’t finish it—- and more of an ethnic food-truck offering. But it, too, was delicious. The ambience is modern and almost corporate (like a gentleman’s club/ steakhouse), the service extremely professional and considerate, and the food first-rate (if a little pricey, as were the bar offerings...$16 for a glass of Prosecco?). For downtown Toronto, though, it was about what I’d expect to pay for a meal of this quality.
