Service was great! Attentive, polite and very knowledgeable. I have to say the beef and boar bucatini surpassed my expectations.

Service was excellent. Food was mediocre at best. dessert was dry. Main meal didn't have enough Gnocchi in it. Expected more for a location such as this.

I had a reservation made under my name, but when I showed up the host simply said there is no reservation made under my name and was not engaged in assisting me further. I insisted I had a reservation and while I was looking up my reservation details. The host asked me if it’s under my husband’s name, very impolitely. I was able to confirm the phone number and she turned and asked someone to sit us. While I appreciate the restaurant is super busy, the host is the first contact when a customer walk in. I was totally embarrassed in front of my guest.

I’ve been taking clients to lunch at Jump for years and I’ve always enjoyed it. This time, the food was substandard. The pasta special was glutinous and way too buttery, also lacked flavour. The waiter mixed up our order. I expect better from Jump.

Services were good and the camerari was a bit under cook. Nevertheless the food was good and a bit over price needs improvement to maintain the reputation.

Service broke down when they got busy, happens a lot with restaurants, but it is a litmus test of how well a restaurant is managed.

I work at Shift in Saskatoon and had my staff recommend coming to dine with you guys and I was so happy to have been able to reserve a table at Jump last night. Thank you so much to the staff for making last night one of the best. Next time I’m back in Toronto, I’ll be sure to make Jump my first stop. Thank you again!

It's been a few years since I visited Jump as a I had a few "meh" visits. My friend and I both enjoyed our lunch - the soup of the day, pasta with pesto, and the beet and lobster salad were all very good.

It's still a business lunch spot and somewhat noisy but I was quite happy with the quality of the food on this visit.

The taste of the steak saved the day. The waitress was fairly bland and mechanical, had little personality, and disappeared for stretches. If I were to return I would never eat on the bar side again. Service and ambiance are unlike the main room, which I've have many good experiences. Too bad, as I booked in advance.

Excellent venue for a business lunch or dinner. Food is excellent, the portion sizes are "just right", there's a good selection/variety of dishes and the ambient noise level is really conducive to being able to carry on a conversation (very rare in restaurants these days) Oh, and did I mention the food is EXCELLENT?

The food was great and thoroughly satisfying. The service could have been a little better in terms of following up with the group before we placed out orders.

Went for a friend's birthday - unfortunately service and ambiance was lackluster and made for an underwhelming night. I'll compare this to another high end restauraunt - both take online booking forms. At both restauraunts you pick a day, time, party size, and write whether or not its for a special occasion. At the other restauraunt, you are greeted by a welcome card for the occasion as well as complimentary desserts and/or drinks. Unfortunately at Jump, there is no recognition a special occasion was selected - just wondering why this even an option at booking if the staff won't even acknowledge it.

When we were seated the restauraunt was virtually empty, but for some reason we were seated directly next to another party when there were numerous seats surrounding us, we asked to be moved and to have more privacy. Part way through the meal another group was attempted to be seated next to us and they also asked to be moved, as again - empty restauraunt. I am still confused, even if they wanted us to put be put in the same server's section, they could have left a gap of one table and not put us directly next to them.

The food was the saving grace here, except for the big ticket item.Although not available from the dining room menu, we requested to be able to order an appetizer from the bar menu - the crab cakes. These were amazing and the sauce was exceptional. We'd gone Saturday night and got the "Surf n Turf" special which is $59/person, lobster and steak. The lobster and steak were cooked perfectly, however the steak was drenched in white fluid/sauce from the lobster - it did not look appetizing at all and resembled a butter yogurt on the steak. Trouble came again with dessert. We were offered a 'warm' Banana Cake with ice cream, but what arrived was clearly a slice of banana bread, served cold on an ice cold plate. We specifically asked if the cake would be warmed and were told yes, the result of the things above ends with a 2 star review.

Jump is efficient at lunch. Unlike other decent restaurants, I can always rely on them to sit me and serve me promptly when I meet people there for lunch. It's hard to find a place that has good food, a nice ambiance, and time efficient.

I've been coming to Jump for years and its excellence has never wavered in its predictability -- outstanding and very classy service, incredibly quick a la minute food preparation, and really delicious fare. It was inordinately noisy and I wonder if there is a way to put some baffling technology to work to quiet things down a little.

Very little dressing on the Caesar salad. Sausage overdone on the Thursday special (octopus and sausage). Pork tenderloin needs to be trimmed better (we needed to remove a large piece of fat).

Good quality food, and a varied selection with rotating specials. Moderately noisy, but not so much as to make it hard to have a business conversation. Good Financial District choice.

About 2/3 of the way thru my main I had to ask for the fries I ordered when we first ordered. I mentioned this to the waiter while she was doing the bills. She seemed to take offence at my comment. Then there was a production to re-balance the bills. I had said we would pay for the fries as we ate them all!

As a lover of Truffles I ordered the Tenderloin with a truffle butter. It didn’t taste good. It was bitter and unlike the fragrant truffles I’ve had before. The server was so kind to check that it wasn’t off in some way and then brought me real shaved truffles. My suggestion would be to make it a truffle/ honey butter. It lacks a sweetness in its present form and doesn’t complement the meat. The fries were delicious though! Very crispy!

Amazing restaurant from the ambiance to the service to the food, this place never disappoints. I have a dairy allergy and the server is incredibly helpful and works with the chef to ensure I can still have a delicious meal. Highly recommend this restaurant, the menu changes often but I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy.

I work in the industry and it was absolutely an amazing service, the name of the waiter wasn’t on the bill, but he did an impeccable job. The food was really delicious, will definitely come back! Cheers.
