The food wasn’t great - rice still had some crunch in the risotto and the seafood tasted quite fishy in the other dishes (blame myself here it was obviously going to be frozen fish/shellfish and I probably should have stuck to other proteins). The service was great but the food was quite underwhelming, particularly for the price. Too bad!
Service was impeccable, the food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was very cool and calm.
Honestly we were hoping for more. The ribeye steak lackluster didn’t love the wine for the $200 we paid for it. Cocktails were OK.
Their food disappointed me. But the overall experience is ok, so 4 stars.
Great service ! The mushroom soup was so good
A little pricey for what we had, but service was good
Great atmosphere, food was delicious I would recommend this restaurant.
Food was excellent!
Disappointed by pretty mediocre food. We expected more. Nothing wrong with the meals but nothing great either. Great waiter though!
Not impressed :( and when we wanted to correct the bill, we been dismissed and told "if it's just 4 dollars just give it to each others it's lot work for me to change it" and after the 1st tip on the machine was 20%... just felt weird :S
Great service. Old fashioneds are a bit pricey but they came through with an ice block upon request.
Great staff, excellent friendly service.
Great choice of food and drinks.
Jump is a stable Toronto spot, so glad its still around
I have always enjoyed dining at Jump. It is a sophisticated restaurant, but always friendly and inviting. And the food is exceptionally good. I highly recommend it.
I was there once in September and it was delicious. This time I took a friend for his birthday. When I reserved I asked if they could do a dessert with candle. That didn’t happen.
The soup was very good. The Caesar salad, while tasty, was drenched in dressing. My salmon dish was very, very dry.
Our server was lovely, very friendly and attentive.
Too many good restaurants in Toronto so I won’t be back.
Great service, good food. Overall great place for a client dinner.
I have always enjoyed jump, and appreciated reliable favourites, like the mushroom soup. Excellent. But the fries fell a little short this time. My guests loved their lunch combos!!
Service was way to rushed- ordered dinner- 10 mns later arrived- felt rushed through whole experience. Could have finished entire dinner in process in 20 mins. if I am to spend 120 + on dinner, it should take a while
It was lovely to be able to go to Jump again. Their food is very good, and the service is impeccable!
We haven’t been here for 10 years and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the cocktails were perfect. Our mains were delicious. A perfect end to a long day of Christmas shopping. Can’t wait to go back.
We sat with our appetizer for a whole hour before the waitress came back with our mains. I had the tuna poki bowl and the portion size was extremely small: literally 4 leaves of butter lettuce, smaller than palm size amount of quinoa, 2 spoonfuls of edamame, and very raw tuna. The restaurant also seemed understaffed. There was a long wait for everything (napkins, water refills, machine for the bill, etc.)
Thank you for a wonderful & safe afternoon.
Great food and wonderful service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We usually love Jump but this time they lost my reservation (booked through Open Table and then called the night before to confirm and add two people). We were placed in the less desirable side of the restaurant (perhaps because they lost our reservation). My pasta wasn’t great nor was my friend’s. My husband said his salmon was excellent and another friend said the calamari was good as well. Hope it will be better the next time.
Server struggled with being to answer our questions or check on us in a timely manner. When we asked to order another drink round for happy hour we were simply told it was too late and that the system wouldn't allow it. Whrn asked why he didn't check on us before then he responded by saying it didn't seem like our drinks were empty.
Very loud restaurant but service was great. Food good, not exceptional and the big square room was relatively charmless. We ordered a 2018 cab from the list and a 2020 was delivered but, as it was opened, and yummy, it wasn’t worth sending back. A very banker-finance crowd with a Christmas party at it’s centre the evening we dined, ambiance was middling.
The waitress completely messed up the bill. We asked if it would be ok to split and she said yes. Instead of giving everyone’s bill at the same time she gave it one by one and I got my bill last. She says this is what’s left that hasn’t been paid. My $90 bill was $263. She kept saying I did my best. Next time say no when people ask if they can split.
Overall a good experience however feedback on food quality appeared to fall on deaf ears. The Burrata for the salad was almost frozen and the Tenderloin with Jump Frites was overly salty. It would have been totally unacceptable for someone on a low sodium diet.
We visited Jump for business dinner, after almost 2 years, it was our first restaurant experience. The food, service and everything was spectacular. we had a very pleasant time. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We tried the famous cheesecake and it was delicious! definitely recommend for dinner or happy hour!
Food was great, atmosphere really good, waiter good quality.... would have liked a little more distance between next table as there were some open spots, maybe ask next visit
Great dining experience, gnocchi was amazing.
Our server had made many rude comments such as looking for a attention because I was wearing a 30th birthday sash. In addition to this making other comments about our small party of just myself and a friend. When asking for suggestions on a dish to choose she make a comment that one dish was more masculine and the other was feminine. It was not a pleasant experience for a fine dining establishment. The food was good was the only positive.
Excellent service. The tuna tartar, gnocchi and cheese cake were especially good.
Nice to be back at Jump for a Business lunch. Great food, Great service
Food was fantastic. Poke bowl had tons of flavour. Service was fantastic, GREAT pregame restaurant. Will be back!
jump is beautiful and our service was amazing, our sever (wish i remembered his name) was the best! the drinks were really good too the berry smash drink was sooo good probably the best drink on the menu. The food was ok, the fries were really salty and the burger was ok. The honey truffle wings were really yummy and their desserts were fantastic. It was a good experience
Our server was amazing - fast service Food was excellent
This is the second time I have eaten at Jump. Let me tell you they have the best hamburger and fries I have eaten in a while.
Just seemed like they didnt have enough staff. Our server seemed to be covering the whole restaurant. That said there were people there that didn’t seem to be doing much. Just strange. Gnocchi was bland. Beef was very good but side broccoli was cold. Just a letdown considering what we spent. Date night and out of the house for us first time in a long time and disappointment.
Terrific service, and food was outstanding. We attended for a family birthday dinner and it was fabulous, could not recommend it more
