Love this place!!! Food was fantastic!! Just cannot believe how slow it is on a weeknight though. More people should venture the few minutes it takes to get up there.....worth every minute, every time!
Really nice option to have dinner
Great food, and great service!
Wait staff are very friendly but not very efficient. We waited 20 minutes at our table before we a server approach us.
Great place for Breakfast
Excellent server and food was outstanding. Could use an upgrade to seating and ambiance. Make it cozier, add some interesting seating options.
Friendly staff. Great ambience. Food disappointing.
We cannot wait to come back. The food was excellent. We had the Huevos Rancheros and the Poutine, both her wonderful! Service was great and quick.
It was our favorite stop out of the 4 places we ate. Would definitely recommend.
Their breakfast potatoes and hollandaise sauce are amazing!
I enjoyed the restaurant, the view is amazing, although the restaurant itself doesn't have amazing ambiance. The food was really good, I had the steak which was amazing, my wife had the coho salmon which was good.
Food, service and ambiance were excellent . Highly recommend for individuals with gluten intolerance!
We just had a fantastic Saturday brunch at Juniper. We’re a group of Canmore locals who were celebrating a Birthday together after a run at Minnewanka, and the folks at Juniper made it a really good experience for us. They accommodated a couple of extra bodies showing up, allowed us to do separate billing (which we recognize is a pain with a group of 15 people), and our server gave us great service - friendly, welcoming, and efficient - not to mention the usual wonderful cuisine. One of the best group experiences we’ve had in the Bow Valley in many years. Thank you so much!
Had never been before and we were beautifully surprised! What a gorgeous view of our mountains and the food was excellent. Would love to bring our whole family here one day.
Wasn’t as great as the photos
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner very much.
We found the main course and dessert excellent. The soup was a bit too thick and the salad could have used a bit more dressing.
The servers were very polite and efficient.
I highly recommend the ladymac cocktail.
Wonderful space and beautiful view. Great brunch option with friends and family.
The Juniper Lodge is absolutely perfect! Food always awesome, staff are excellent. We both had the Thanksgiving special, very reasonably priced and delicious. It was a great way to avoid all the fuss and cooking a turkey. The mountain view is always breathtaking. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great service, views and food
Candice, our server, was an absolute delight! Made great recommendations and was incredibly personable. A girlfriend and I went for brunch and both loved it! Will be returning.
The food was very good and the service excellent. The view is amazing!!
The food was amazing and the cocktails impressive. The ambiance was lacking to keep our party of 4 from sticking around for cocktails after dinner. Would absolutely recommend for dinner, but not a location for evening cocktails and small bites.
Amazing views and amazing food! Loved it at Juniper!
Really enjoyable and great chef
There’s great view through restaurant windows . The food is good and service is good as well. I am not a big eater, but I feel like the food portion is kind of small.
Wonderful views and ambience...we thoroughly enjoyed everything so much we didn’t want to leave. Outside was great for pictures from every part of the patio. It was a perfect afternoon and the brunch menu was great. Always happy to recommend.
The restaurant had a beautiful view! Free parking was also nice. The Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Our waitress could not have been nicer, perfect place for our breakfast.
Nice waiter, coffee great, food very nice presentatet.
This place was okay for lunch and view was fabulous. But not sure why it is the #2 place in Banff. Not great options for vegetarians and they were out of a few things. Also don't understand why someone with a reservation gets put in the middle of the restaurant. The place was not full so they should hold window tables for those with reservations.
Service was ok. Our server started out with a bad attitude that we all could sense.
Explained how hungry we all were after long travel. Asked her to ring in appetizers and send it, then right away ring in our tables orders so that we would not have to wait long. She gave us attitude, pretty much saying she knows what she is doing.
Well she definitely did not ring in our stuff how we asked as it took 1 hour to get our food after finishing the appetizer. We almost just canceled everything and walked out.
Being in the restaurant for 2 hours + is brutal.
A real "foodie" place; everything my wife and I had from drinks to apps and dinner was fabulous. An excellent blend of unexpected flavors in all we tried. Highly recommend this bit off the beaten path restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.
Fantastic meal! Vegetarian choices are especially nice. Our next stop to Banff we will return
Excellent brunch and views .
Brunch. Food was pretty good. Bones in rabbit. Solid but not outstanding.
We sat outside. Waiter Brian was gracious and put cushions on our seats and brought me a blanket wrap as the temp dropped. My coho salmon dish done Asian style over vegetables in a miso broth was delicious. My husband's lamb loin done medium rare was served rare and was tough. We sent it back and they brought it up to medium. It was better but still not tender, however sauce and lamb were flavorful. We shared the beets with goat cheese, Fennel and portion was sizable to share and enjoyed. My husband said he would not go back as the lamb was tough. I would go back as I especially loved the beet dish. One note: If you are a big eater the salmon portion was a bit small fine for me I'm not a big eater though.
AN INCREDIBLE DINING EXPERIENCE! Amazing food, ambiance, and views. A must-try if you are visiting Banff!!
Beautiful view. Earlier in the summer would be lovely to sit on the patio I'm sure. Food was very good. We especially enjoyed some of their vegetable dishes such as the squash risotto and the BC mushrooms. Would highly recommend to anyone.
On our recent visit to Banff, we really enjoyed the dinner at Juniper Bistro. The food was creative and very well prepared, and the ingredients were of very high quality. The service was prompt, personable and non-obtrusive. The restaurant, situated partially up one of the foothills, also has a stunning patio with a view of the mountains.
Went for breakfast. The patio was open and it was great! Food was fresh hot and delicious.......I would recommend the Juniper Bistro.
The appetizers and entrees were outstanding! We ha the chicken liver pate and the wild mushroom haspberry starters followed by the mussels with harissa cream and the salmon dishes. Incredibly perfectly done.
The desserts sound interesting but did not deliver
The cocktail and mocktails were creative and tasty.
The wait staff was a bit unorganized.
Phenomenal good!! We had the beef tenderloin, wild boar, and several sides and all were delicious! Dining here was one of the highlights of our trip :)
