The restaurant is beautiful, and all the food is delicious. The naan bread is one of the best in the city, and so is the tandoori chicken. But unfortunately the food took way too long to get to the table and no one told us why it was taking so long, no one ever came around to see if we were ok or to apologize or explain the delay. Our server was unfriendly and seemed unhappy. We weren’t sure why until at the very end of the meal he explained that they were short staffed. Which felt like he wanted to make sure we gave a tip… anyway, this was our second time there, we will give it another chance and hopefully customer service will be better next time.

This was the second time that we have visited this restaurant when traveling to Toronto. On this particular occasion, we brought our 2 Boys here for dinner while in town for spring break. Both my husband and I knew how good the food was based off of a previous trip we made, but this time around having our boys, they both agreed that the food was delicious and even wanted to come back a second night before heading back home! This will definitely be a restaurant that we have to frequent whenever in Toronto! Oh! And did I mention how WONDERFUL the servers were?!

We arrived and were seated promptly at 7:00 pm reservation. The dinning room was approximately 30% occupied on this Saturday evening. Nevertheless, we waited in excess of 10 minutes before being attended to. We had requested water and the server did not return but attended to another table. After an additional 5+ minutes another server poured our water and took our order. From the time that we had arrived, almost one hour had passed before our food was served. The tandoori chicken was excellent but the tandoori prawns were overcooked and the naan was generally dry. The rest of the dishes were average.

My first time at the restaurant was in 2010 for my girlfriend’s (now fiancée) birthday. The food was amazing then, and still amazing now (i.e., yesterday). My fiancée and I usually visit this restaurant once a year together to celebrate special occasions, whether it’s one of our birthdays, a job promotion, finishing school, etc. Last month, for the first time, we brought some friends out for one of their birthdays. We had some picky eaters in the bunch who never really had any Indian food outside of butter chicken or samosas. I ordered some shareables for the table and they loved them. My friends said they would definitely come back. Whenever we go the Kamasutra, we get the Lover’s Thali Dinner for 2 (apps, 3 mains, naan bread, rice). That way if you’re not sure what to order, you can try a few things. My trip to the restaurant yesterday was for my birthday dinner. The place was quiet and we had a nice window seat. The food and service was excellent as usual. Shoutout the Jasmeet for the great service! He was attentive, and informative when we asked some questions about a couple questions about new items on the menu that hadn’t seen before (which ended up being delicious by the way). He also did a great job balancing the going back and forth between the takeout, Uber/Skip/etc orders and us. Long story short, if you’re looking for a great place to have some Indian food, I recommend giving this place a shot.

we really enjoyed our thali for 2 meal. we had to have a doggy bag there was so much food. Good wine and drinks list with interesting cocktails. Very tasty food and we both felt this was the best Indian restaurant in Toronto. We will make this a regular stop when we visit Toronto again.

A wide and tasty variety of foods. I am champagne drinker as I prefer champagne to beer but I did not see anything on the drinks menu for that. However, I definitely recommend as the food was really very good and the quality of preparation was well above average. This is a restaurant I will definitely return to again on my next trip to Toronto.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Food was normal, blend and non spicy. Anyone looking for true Indian food w/taste should probably avoid this place.

Just went there for the first time and enjoyed our lunch very much. The food was excellent as was the service. Would recommend it highly and hope to go back soon.

It was a perfect atmosphere to relax and eat while talking. food was brilliant and it added to the good feeling of been in company of friends and family.

The atmosphere was very peaceful and the service great. Food was fresh and quite authentic. Would definitely go back again
