We look forward to our lunches at Kelsey's in the back room where we meet every 60 days or so. service by Diana was perfect. Food was very good.
I took a friend to dinner as a "gratitude" evening. She had the shepherd's pie, which she loved and I had your incredible chicken pot pie. Please always keep the pot pie on your fall and winter menu. I have had it numerous times and it is consistently delicious. I wish I could duplicate the flavor, but then I wouldn't come to Kelsey's just for my pot pie "fix". :) Also, thanks for extending the happy hour to the dining room. Kelsey's, a neighborhood gem, is like our Cheers. Always welcoming, always comfortable. Tell Phil Bowie Hi from Sandy, the nurse. :)
Kelsey's does what it does, consistently well. It's the MacDonald's of Irish sports pub restaurants: customer expectations are met every time. The Irish specialties are just that: special. Pretty empty for a Sunday brunch; I imagine this place rocks when sports are on TV.
We had lunch with former neighbors … good food, not noisy, friendly waitress, reasonable prices … great time!
Excellent service, wonderful Chicken Pot Pie and Wongs with honey Old Bay sauce.
I had a seasonal specialty of chicken over gnocchi with a pumpkin sauce and it was AMAZING!!! Everyone else in my party enjoyed their choices as well.
Brunch with family on Sunday at Noon. 5 of us were seated in a generous space near the fireplace. The menu was reasonably interesting with a selection of omelets and benedicts. Also, there was the usual assortment of lunch items. We ordered an Irish omelet, a vegetable omelet, and one each of the benedicts regular, Irish, and crab. I had the Irish omelet which was quite good. There were comments from the family that their food was excellent.
Desert was offered and accepted. A creme brulee and chocolate volcano cake were shared amongst all.
All in all, a very pleasant experience.
I was disappointed in the service. Our waitress took 10 minutes to greet our table. It took over 10 more minutes to get drinks. Our food took over 35 minutes. We hardly saw our waitress. They were out of dessert. We were there for a birthday and very disappointed in our visit.
Food took forever and was horrible! Fish in fish and chips was way over cooked, mushy fries. Same for my colleague’s food. The service was great, but doesn’t make up for the food being horrible after a ridiculously long wait.
we all had fish and chips--ver tasty. highly recommend
A group of us gathered and the waitress was cognizant of our time constraints to get to the Arts Center. First time there. Diverse menu for an Irish pub. Food was fine.
The rosemary fries where perfect!! The soup delicious!! and the service, impeccable!! Good job Kelsey's :-)
Our food was well presented and good. It came out piping hot. Our waitress was very accomodating and most pleasant. We enjoyed our dinner!
A group of three went to Kelsey's to enjoy a restaurant week special. Each of us ordered the lobster sliders. The true New Englander dubbed it very tasty but she prefers a small amount of celery for some crunch. The gazpacho was good & highly spicy. The crab & corn chowder was good but it needed to be served hotter and with more crab. I could hardly taste crab. We enjoyed the strawberry shortcake & the creme brulee. Our waitress was wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed but wasn't obtrusive. We shall return.
I found Kelsey's through an online review, and was a good half-way point for a business meeting with a new employee. Amber was our server, and was just delightful. Very knowledgeable about the menu, entertaining, just did an outstanding job.
I had the Rachel sandwich (Rueben with turkey), that was really good, lots of turkey, great bread, loved it.
This will be out "regular" meeting place in the future,
Food was pretty good but shrimp salad disappointing. Nice atmosphere, good service but loud.
It's a nice venue for casual lunch or dinner and a valuable asset for the local community.
It started out really well. Nice menu selection and good beer choices. I had eaten three-quarters or more of my mussels when my fork hit something -- a random piece of chicken in the bottom of the bowl with the broth. I was grossed out. I showed it to the waitress, she said she'd get the manager. The manager asked if I wanted another bowl of mussels, I said no I was pretty full; she asked if I wanted a smaller bowl. When I said no thanks, she asked if I wanted dessert. However, I didn't need anymore food. I thought she'd offer to remove the offending dish from our bill, but she never did. She talked about telling the kitchen what happened, etc.. and said again she was sorry.
We paid the bill and left. In my view, unsatisfactory customer service.
Good experience. Server was great.
Best ribeye I’ve had in a while, and both of our kids loved their meals too. Daily specials look great, will be back for burger night!
It was our first dining experience at Keksey's for all 6 of us.
The food was excellent and so was the service. We will definitely be returning.
We had a fantastic Father's Day brunch at Kelsey's. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the waitress was on the ball. Will return.
The food and service was good. Very friendly, casual atmosphere. We will be returning
very good once again. we were there for brunch/lunch. Meat breakfast was really good
I really enjoyed the blackened shrimp tacos. I would definitely visit again.
We went for the Mother's Day dinner buffet. The food was very good, they had a great variety to choose from. The service was outstanding... I will definitely go back next year! We love Kelsey's!
Amazing corn beef, cabbage and potatoes. Just melts in your mouth!
We went to Kelsey’s for an early Mother’s Day. The shrimp salad was a little spicy but other then that the food was very good. Since it was our first time there, our waiter’s suggestions were very helpful. There were so many things on the menu that sounded good so we’ll definitely be going back.
Waitress was great. Food worth the price.
Excellent brunch! Really enjoyed the Crab Benedict.
Kelsey's is always so accommodating to our needs. As seniors we treasure every minute we spend together with friends. We especially like to meet at Kelsey for it is easy to find, good food and service. Diana was very attentive and ready to of service. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Service was great and food was tasty
We went to the Eater Dinner buffet, and it was delicious. I'm not a buffet person, but all the food was excellent. Crab soup, shepherd's pie and meatballs were all stand-outs. Nothing here was just heated up in the back, everything here was made from scratch. Service is always friendly and drinks were never empty. Kelsey's is an Ellicott City gem.
Excellent Easter Dinner Buffet.
We had been to Kelsey's several times for lunch which was very good so we were excited to learn about their Easter buffet. Everything was well prepared with quality ingredients not usually found at buffets. Great selection of dishes and other items from all food groups including my favorite- seafood! Crab dip, crab soup, steamed shrimp, oysters on the halfshell. Oh my! Prime rib, salmon with dill sauce and chicken marsala was great as well. We tried a little of everything and it was all good. Will absolutely go again next year.
Second time there and the food has been great. Service was was pretty good as well.
Belated St. Patrick’s Day.
Kelseys has never disappointed me. They have a warm and inviting atmosphere, and great staff. The food is the best Irish pub fare I've found around Baltimore! The corner beef poppers and Guinness mussels are absolutely mouthwatering.
Loved it! Food was delicious! Service was excellent!
First visit to Kelsey's. We really enjoyed our experience - food was delicious and our service from Nick was great. Had to request appetizer plates though and the first 2 app plates brought had food residue in them but was quickly rectified. Real issue is that while their address is Baltimore National Pike the restaurant is not on that road but in a strip shopping center on another road off that road so the address makes it confusing to find.
