    Great location downtown TO Food is very tasty, but portions are small and expensive Wine is also overpriced They have a sommelier who can help you select your wine and he was excellent! My fave dishes were the pork short rib, Gyoza and Shrimp tempura Sushi portions are tasty but very small I left satisfied but not full.... Bill was 470 (Tip not included) for 4 people. 210 was for wine alone

    The food and service were fantastic. Took a while to get seated (even with a reservation) and had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come back to reception to get our coats out of the cost check. Outside of those waits would highly recommend as a great spot for Japanese in downtown TO.

    We arrived for dinner and we were seated immediately at the table we reserved in the lounge. Rose was our waitress and she was fantastic, attentive; expedient ( we had to get to the game) and took the time to make everything perfect. Rose is remarkable (as are all the staff). What a treat to come to this restaurant. Always great and dependable

    Sat at the Bar with Rose. She is absolutely fabulous. Food was great, and libations were generous and delicious. Miso soup, chicken and leeks; fried eggplant sushi. Delicious and delightful. You should not go anywhere else. Exceptional through and through. Cheers

    The restaurant looks neglected for the “high end” Japaneese it is trying to deliver. Many parts of the menu are great, BUT they choose to serve Escolar/“buttefish” which is toxic and NEVER even offered in Japan.

    The service from Stacey and the rest of the staff was impeccable as always. The team @ Ki always makes my guests feel welcomed and they do everything possible to ensure we are all very well taken care of. The food @ Ki is top notch.     This was a business lunch and could not have gone better, amazing food, shared many options recommended by our server. I will bring more clients there in the future. 10 out of 10!

    Terrible experience. Waited over 50 mins for food. Waiter ignored us. My lunch partner specific ordered food without sesame seeds and the salad came with sesame seeds. The tables next to us arrived 20 mins after us and received 15 mins before we did while we ordered the lunch special (salmon bento and California rolls and a seaweed salad. Terrible service and had to rush to eat the food. The service didn't check on us after the food was served. Didn't have time to eat the meal. Comped half less than half of the meal. The sea weed salad never returned without sesame seeds.

    I reserved a table for 6:00 before we went to the theatre. We entered through the BCE entrance and was met by a very unfriendly hostess. She told the person to seat us at a high top bar table while the restaurant was empty. Even the person who sat us has to ask the hostess again which table she was taking us to. I asked to be moved which the other lady did and sat us at a very nice table by the window. Our server Jasmine was great and the rest of the service was great. First impressions are important and the hostess made us feel like we shouldn’t be there.

    My husband and i absolutely love Ki, hes a sushi lover and this place is our go to for special occasions. The food is always fresh and the flavors are superb. The sweet potato soup was absolutely delicious; we wanted more. Thank you Ki for making my husband's bday a great one.

    Met a friend here for lunch. Originally they had us seated at the same booth as another couple but were very accommodating when we asked to move. The waiter was excellent. Quiet but catered to our needs. Food as always, was excellent.

    felt very rushed - understand that were was a reservation after but server did not need to state this - we left ahead of said reservation and guests were literally standing a few feet away

    While I fully understand wanting to turn over tables as the majority of our party was late I find the way in which the table was truncated was distasteful as well I I find the decision was short sighted given the amount we had already ordered, not to mention the frequency in which we frequent the establishment! It might not mean much and this might fall on deaf ears but we ended up at Chotto across the hall with 9 persons, and a ridiculous amount of food and beverage orders + additional time spent at Louis Louix. While the service for the past 20 years that we have been going to Ki has been stellar all it takes is one bad experience to leave a very bad lingering taste and turn off loyal customers from wanting to return.

    The food and service were outstanding. We ordered a mix of sushi and sashimi and I have NEVER tasted such quality!! The ambiance was a bit noisy for a work lunch and we were at a high top table which is always a bit less comfortable IMO but the staff and quality of meal were 10/10.

    It was much too loud to have a conversation with our guests. We had to shout to hear each other. The sushi was good but the miso soup was disappointing and the shrimp tempura was small prawns only... not as expected.

    Delicious food and great service. We visited at 6:15 pm and it was very full near the entrance around the bar and very noisy. The dinner area was tucked in, which helped with all the business by the bar. Overall a lovely dinner.
