Two smaller rooms seating 8 and 12 people have a beautiful glass wall overlooking the main dining space with a curtain to provide extended privacy. Enjoy a personalized dining experience in these rooms by asking about our Chef's Table. The screening room can accommodate groups of up to 40 people for a meal or up to 60 guests for reception style events. The food was quite good, the setting was okay - located in the center of a busy hotel the dining area was quiet, but lacked any windows or view. Service was very good - everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The Shepard's Pie, salad, and Wayne Gretzkey's Pinot Grigio was all very good.

The main concern that we had was how long it took to get our food. We arrived at 5:30 and received our soups a minimum of 45 minutes later and finally left around 7:30. My wife had the onion soup, chicken and tiramisu and found it all very good. I had the mushroom soup and it was great, the salmon was a bit dry and the lava cake that was awesome. We felt that we should have been in and out by at least 7 pm.

I was treated well. I first met the chef when I arrived, and explained that this was going to be my very first indoor dining experience since the pandemic began, and that I had some concerns. I was placed in a fairly private area upstairs with no other diners around. The service was attentive, the food was great, and I really enjoyed the entire experience. I also felt very safe dining indoors without my mask. Kudos to the chef and wait staff. Loved the fresh herbs from the rooftop garden in my salad and appetizer.

The main dish I had (Cornish hen) was quite rich and with the portion size, I would recommend being VERY hungry to ensure you eat everything on your plate! Overall, would visit again.

We always like the buffet breakfast at the Hyatt but today was just not up to its usual standards. There was no bacon. What is a breakfast buffet without bacon? Disappointing. The hot food was really cold and the choice of pastries was way less than usual.

We had the 3 course dinner menu offered through Travelzoo and Groupon. We both had French Onion Soup and Salmon. The food was delicious and a good size. Service was very good and I would recommend this restaurant.

You never know how good a restaurant steak is going to be if you haven’t had one there before so I was a bit nervous spending so much for the Surf and Turf. I needn’t have worried, it was delicious. Not sure it was worth $55 but the quality was fabulous.

The staff is amazingly friendly and warm. The food was Meh. Shepherd’s pie was ok, my wife’s is better. She had a chicken dish supposedly with truffle sauce but could barely detect truffle. The real issue was the bus person kept touching the glasses as he refilled water which he diligently did. My wife asked the manager for new glasses and explained…he was very apologetic and brought new glasses which the same staff person filled in exactly the same way. Gave up and used straws. Nice atmosphere, very average and not inexpensive food, warm friendly service.

We were here to have a relaxing bite before seeing the play Hamilton. We arrived fairly early so it was not too busy and had excellent service. Three of us had burgers and were disappointed by the quality of them. I actually got the burger stuck in my throat as it was so rubbery and chewy, so could not finish it. The caesar salad served with it was very good, however. We were served a complimentary dessert (lava cake) as we had a birthday girl at the table….it was very good. The location at the Hyatt regency was perfect…we were able to park there underground , then go direct to restaurant staying indoors. And then a short walk to the theatre after dinner.

Sadly the restaurant was short staffed and unable to bring out all the meals at the same time. They were kind enough to comp the meal that was late, but it makes the rest of us uncomfortable eating while one of our party doesn't have their order.

Everyone in our party of five thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service and ambience was very good. This is an EXCELLENT pre theatre dinner destination. Best of all, quiet with no thumping music allowing easy conversation. We’ll be visiting again.

Went to dinner before the seeing a show and there wasn’t a lot of people. The place was clean and quiet and the food was fantastic. It wasn’t overly priced for the quality of the food. I definitely recommend and would go back again.

We went to try the Winterlicious menu. My husband tried the Winterlicious menu and I ordered from the main menu. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. We were hoping for some more people watching, and we were there on a Friday night when few events were on, it was -25 degrees outside, so there weren't many people out. The service was a little on the slow side, and that was OK because it gave us time to talk.

Good selection for Winterdelicious. Shrimp Rogu was delicious. Cornish hen with roasted veges good sized portion and flavour, however too much oil. Salmon was tasty and good portion. Could reduce salt. Chocolate mouse delicious A+. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall very good value and service.

We had an early dinner before a nearby 7 pm theatre play so there were only two other tables. Thus it was quiet enabling good conversation and privacy. Service was very polite and welcoming and menu items were varied and moderately priced. We both thought the food we ordered was very good and enjoyed the experience. We will be back. The only problem is that the restaurant is hard to find, You need to enter the Hyatt Regency, go past the lobby checkin to the elevators and go down to Level C. A sign would be good, otherwise it's hard to know the restaurant even exists.
