King Street Trio Ratings and Reviews
This was our first visit to King Street Trio. The evening was perfect, from the entrance to exit!
Alex was our server and was friendly, professional and gave us good suggestions off of the menu.
We were seated across from the chef which was very cozy and we enjoyed watching the Chef plate the food! We started with Suppli Di Riso (Crisp risotto balls filled with Mozzarella, set in Romesco sauce, and finished with Asiago cheese). My husband and I both ordered the steak which was cooked perfectly!! Our friends enjoyed the Stuffed Chicken Supreme and the Seafood Cioppino. We were too full for dessert but our friends enjoyed Filo Wrapped Vanilla Cheesecake and Coffee Panna Cotta.
We can't say enough - everything was perfect! We will DEFINITELY be back!
Our waiter could not have been more attentive! We never felt rushed or neglected. I was with an elderly relative with hearing problems and he took the time lean in closer so she could hear him. Our meals were absolutely delicious and arrived hot and well presented. We both ate every bite. We were there on a busy Saturday night so the noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation. As some of the patrons cleared out, this improved. A wonderful dining experience!!
Great food, and very attentive, personal service. Brian and his team really know how to look after you. Have been here several times, and will be returning soon.
Fantastic food and service as usual. One restaurant that you can count on to be consistent, always taste good, and impeccable service
We have been to KInig St. Trio for many dinners over the years ant their various locations, but the current location in Uptwon Waterloo is the best. We have recently been enjoying the chef's demonstration dinners with wine pairings. The evenings are very interesting, the food is always unique and delicious, and Brian and the team have a very personal approach in service and we always feel very well looked after.
Very friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance of the place is phenomenal. The food has been prepared to excellent standards every time I have gone.
Everything you expect from a well-run restaurant. From the greeting to the dessert, all good things.
Best Oysters in town, Best Caesar Salad in town, best Filet Mignon in town and best Lamb Rack in town. I've never felt the need to order anything else because those items are always amazing. Ingredients are always top notch; you can taste the quality. If you're a tequila fan, don't forget to ask for a shot of the chilled Dobel. Always a great experience. Keep up the good work Brian!
We all enjoyed the evening, though it wasn't, as we expected, ideal for our granddaughter as it is a restaurant for adults. The adults all enjoyed their picks from the menu.
Second visit, as wonderful as the first. Full house on a Friday evening...even through the construction on King St. Excellent food, creative cocktails and exception service. We will definately return.
Six girlfriends started our day with a matinee at the theatre. Following the theatre we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at King Street Trio. The food was awesome and the service was amazing! As a group we dine out frequently and we now have King Street Trio at the top of our fine dining list. We will definitely return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was amazing being there for the first time me and my girlfriend had a blast and the food was amazing and the service was impeccable, but it was very noises when we were there so sometimes we couldn't hear each other. Being there though was a great experience of its own.
Truly Fantastic Dining experience. Dining here is the highlight of long business trips out from Toronto to Waterloo. Impeccable service and the BEST Steak Tartare around.
Great spot !!. Only negative would be construction in the area and hard to get to and park, but not restaurants fault.
My wife and I enjoyed a very nice dinner at the King Street Trio restaurant. Service was excellent, food was great (expensive but not over-priced). Nice table for two away from the main crowd. Located in Uptown Waterloo, there's lots of parking just around the corner. Restaurant was busy on Saturday night with several large groups but noise level was fine.
We had a wonderful meal and delicious wine (my 8 oz. filet mignon was cooked a perfect medium rare). We were greeted very graciously and our table service was immediate. Our server was friendly and respectful, and made great recommendations when asked. I had the best crème brulee ever for dessert and my wife had the key lime pie, which was exactly as our server described: "to die for". Even the coffee was excellent. Would not hesitate to eat there again.
My wife and I enjoyed our meal very much . We had never been and were pleasantly surprised at the high level of hospitality. The only downside was that in my reservation I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and at no point was this addressed by the staff. As a restaurant manager myself I was disappointed with this oversight.
Excellent service, friendly servers, great ambiance.
Prices are high for the steak and the fish, considering the smallish portion size.
We were warmly greeted at the door and received prompt and friendly service. Our server exhibited a good understanding of the menu items. I ordered trout for myself and my spouse and filet mignon for our 12 year old who is a very picky eater. He had never eaten off the kids menu before so I had my doubts. His meal was devoured with great pleasure (as were ours). Desserts were as delicious as the entrees. I highly recommend this restaurant.
First time here and we will definitely return. Their appetizers were too good to resist so we just had a bunch of them. All were delicious. The service was also exceptional. Always attentive and very knowledgable with the menu. We even had the manager filling our water for us. Everyone chippped in to make it a great night. And to top it off they brought us a free dessert for our anniversary.
One of very few restaurants where the plate and food stay hot to the very end.
We enjoyed the entire evening. Professional friendly service, but most of all great food.
We will be back. Do not let road work keep you from going.
First time here and we went for my wife's birthday. The service was excellent, we were greeted immediately and felt extremely welcomed. The food was amazing and a great selection. We will definitely be returning.
Wonderful restaurant with great food, friendly service, and nice venue.
The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the second we walked in the door. They always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The food was excellent and prepared perfectly.
Very relaxed dining atmosphere, very centrally located, good food, excellent service always. Best caesar salad around! Good selection of wines and spirits / cocktails, and awesome chilled jazz background music.
High class expensive but incredible food. I went for me and my girlfriend's 3rd year anniversary and it was a great experience. I would definitly go again!
We had another great dinner at the Trio. This is truly one of our favorite restaurants in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Great food, well prepared and absolutely great service. Highly recommended.
Fun menu, great food, comfortable atmosphere, loved the smooth jazz.
Food, atmosphere and service was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Enjoyed a great meal with excellent service. Will book a dinner reservation again.
Fantastic experience. Staff were great. My glass was never empty. Planning to dine there again soon.
We were graciously welcomed and seated . Our server arrived quickly and guided us through the menu - we enjoyed our meals from appetizers to desserts - our server was friendly , knowledgeable and attentive .
We are long time fans of King Street Trio and will certainly return .
Overall we were very happy with King street trio. We went for our anniversary. Couple things that we concerning, It smelled alittle like fish... there was absolutely no one there at 615 on a beautiful Thursday night which was weird...
The food was very good although not particularly creative. The service was very fast, and the server was very attentive - perhaps too attentive, given we were hoping for a relaxed meal "event". Noise level surprisingly high for the less than 50% tables occupied (on a Monday evening), which may not bother the younger crowd at all.
Food and service were excellent. Very relaxed environment. Enjoyed watching our food be prepared in the open kitchen.
first visit, was very happy with the whole experience.
Food was great , service was top shelf, thank you Anne and team,
had a great dinner with my Aunt and Mom, for my aunts birthday.
Overall a really nice evening. Food was excellent but took quite a while from ordering to arrival at the table although the resteraunt was not busy. This did not detract from our enjoyment. The service was very good with attention to our choices.
The food was delicious, service was excellent and we were remembered from our last visit. The gentleman who greeted us is definitely in the right business; he was fantastic!!
Very romantic setting and ambiance with lovely music. Food is on the more expensive side, but was delicious and perfect for a special occasion. Service was prompt, helpful, and courteous.
My s/o and I were celebrating our anniversary and birthday that night and we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything was.
The service was the best we've ever had from a restaurant. Alex (our waiter) was super friendly, helpful, observant and available.
The food was flawless from the appetizers to the desserts. We both highly recommend having the duck or special featuring it. Best dish I've had the pleasure of tasting.
