   Extremely bad experience. Took us 15 minutes to get sat at an empty restaurant at 9:30 PM with a reservation. Then the waiter did not know what Kettle One Vodka was. After we and the Bartender told him it was vodka, we still got the wrong drinks. Canceled the food order and left!

   We came here based on a recommendation from a Marriott bartender. The food was absolutely outstanding and we enjoyed all of it. The staff were very attentive but certainly not overbearing. All very kind and engaging as well. Great local feel to the restaurant itself.

    The service was terrible, whether it was due to them being understaffed I don’t know but it took us a solid 45 minutes before my wife and I got our appetizers. The food was good when it came out but I couldn’t come back here due to the service being extremely slow.

    The food and atmosphere at Kingfish were good. However, the delay in food prep and time between courses were unacceptable. Some tables were served well before others and the only difference appears to be the attentiveness of their server. Our server was proactive in following up. However, there was nothing that could be done except deserve us more water. Our had a great personality but our only concern was his profuse sweating and using his hands to wipe the sweat away without washing them before servicing waters and meals. In a post COVID world, this was unsettling. Coming from NY we were really looking forward to Louisiana cuisine. We had a taste of it but the experience left us a little disappointed.

    Excellent meal - the fried green tomatoes were seasoned perfectly and the sauce was a lovely accompaniment. The beef salad had great flavor and you can never go wrong with the filet! Our server was outstanding! Great job - we will be back!

    Bar service and attitude was great - once we got our table the waiter disappeared at times and it took over 45 minutes to get our appetizers. The entrees took another 30 minutes after that. Very slow- I think the bar was getting their food. I won’t be back.

    We arrived 30 minutes early and were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and the food was great. Large portions and not pricy. Very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend if visiting the French Quarter.

    Wanted to like this place so much, it is well designed and in a good location. Unfortunately the service was the worst I’ve ever had. Ever. Took an hour to get drinks and our server was hostile..that was the only way I can describe it. The food was okay..shrimp & grits was vinegary tasting, the shrimp had some shells still on them and it made eating them an adventure. The worst was the grits..not creamy more dry like couscous. Seafood gratin & crawfish bread & mousse cake were better but nothing to write home about. Wish I had picked somewhere else for our last dinner in NOLA.

    The staff and food were excellent. Honestly, based on the reviews I read a few hours before our reservations we almost canceled, and we are glad we didn’t. When we got there for our reservations at 9:30 we were promptly taken to our table. The place was busy, hardly any open tables. Our waitress took our drink and appetizer orders and we were served quickly. She gave great meal suggestions and the food was great! We will definitely be back next time we’re here!

    Amazing food and great service! The gumbo and jambalaya are delightful, as is the fried chicken and seafood au gratin. But nothing compares to the pecan pie! Closest I've have to a religious experience.

    Service - slow. Very slow. Took forever to get food and drinks. Everyone was very kind though. Food - lots of creole options. Definitely get the crab cakes. We also got the shrimp and fried tomatoes which was fine, nothing special. We then got the scallop fettuccine, sauce was underwhelming and the whole dish needed salt. We also got the shrimp and grits, sauce was too vinegary and acidic. Value - spent roughly 160 dollars for two drinks, apps, and entrees. I think total bill around 120 would probably have been more accurate for the quality but you’re in the French quarter so that always hikes things up.

    We have eaten here before and had a pleasant experience. This time the service was the worst I have ever experienced in the French Quarter. Our waitress was AWOL. Someone needs to train her. She had no idea what she was doing and was late for everything. It took us 10 minutes to get water and another 10 to get a glass of wine. After we ordered an appetizer, it was 1 minutes before she came to ask if we needed anything, and we told her we were still waiting for the appetizer. Finally, the appetizer and both entrees were delivered at the same time. We were shocked to experience such terrible service in the French Quarter at what is normally a good restaurant.

    Gem in the middle of the French Quarter. Menu offered an array of choices featuring a Cajun influence. Pricing is reasonable for the food quality offered. Service was slow, but perhaps because we chose to dine in the bar area rather than the main dining room.

    I had the blackened catfish. That was good but it took a long time to come after ordering. The baked potato that came with it was only lukewarm. The prices are on the high side. The server handed me the credit card machine with a 20% tip preselected.

    This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is in a great location in the French Quarter. The food was delicious. I had the catfish and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Both were very good. I also recommend the French 75 cocktail! Best one that I have had, by far! Jas was very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely return!

    This place is a casual spot for a meal or drinks. The food was pretty good. Our server wasnt the greatest, forgetting to bring things that we ordered. The noise level was pretty high.

    Lovely food- the street was busy due to the festival and we had a big table next to us so I imagine the atmosphere would be different another night. Our server Edward was excellent- he was so attentive and knowledgable about the menu- it really made our meal!

    Service wasn’t just bad, it didn’t exist at all. We had a reservation. And waited 30 minutes. Asked 2 servers if they could find our server to place an order and ignored. There was a lot of staff and managers arguing about about people being fired right by our table yet not acknowledged. It’s not the Kingfish I remember.

    Seated at bar instead of a standard table, over 12 tables available in standard at time of reservation and afterwards. Waited 30 minutes for water and any service. Food was well undercooked. Most of staff was outside smoking.
