Very poor. Reviews on Trip Advisor were very good so we decided to book for a special family brunch. Food and service were very poor. Looks like they are going out of business. Suggest you avoid and pick another place for Sunday brunch.

The food and service we're mediocre at best! The only redeeming feature was the chefs benedict on a kale bed with homemade "Canadian bacon". The buffet food was over steamed: eggs were luke warm and rubbery, bacon soggy, waffles were the consistency of wet cardboard. The "fresh fruit and vegetables " were well past their prime. Not as advertised or worth the drive or cost. Skip this one

The brunch here was a real let down. After seeing all of the pictures of the different options they had, we got there and it was just like any other hotel buffet but setup in a room and fairly sparse to be honest. The menus online (on Yelp granted) showed a $15 add-on option for bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's but when we got there it was only a la carte at $5 and $10 respectively. It just felt like a huge tourist trap at what you get for $45, even for Hawaii. We might as well have eaten at our hotel. I can only hope it's better in the on-season.

I had brunch at the kitchen table with my family during our trip to Kauai last week. The food was excellent! Very rare do you find a place that serves gourmet food buffet style. Everything tasted very fresh, from the eggs to the juice to the main courses. I will definitely make it a point to eat here whenever I visit Kauai.

We are generally not big fans of buffet style eating, but absolutely loved this experience. We enjoyed a truly excellent Easter Sunday brunch. The quality of the ingredients was top notch and every bite was incredible. The staff was very courteous and professional. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Sunday brunch. They had live music playing while you sit outside in a covered area. The food was fantastic, very fresh, clean and a little bit of everything prepared onsite. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Arrived at 12 noon for an 11:45 AM reservation. This was for a buffet brunch. We were seated quickly. Buffet table was practically empty - dishes not replenished and presentations not cleaned up. Waiter never showed up for the 15 minutes that we were seated. Left without having our meal. Would not recommend.

My family ate brunch here over Christmas vacation. The open air restaurant is on a beautiful large property with a farm. The very tasty buffet had expected and unexpected items. Cheesy eggs, Portuguese sausage, french toast, fruit, and oatmeal. But also tuna poke, sashimi, pate, a nice assortment of marinated and grilled veggies and delicious sweet and savory scones. The only disappointment was there was not a good selection of local fruits. Service was good and we enjoyed the mellow live music - a guitarist/singer.

I'm not sure how or why there are so many great reviews of this place ... maybe we were expecting too much. The pre-dinner 'garden walk' was underwhelming. The cocktails were not great (yes, I do appreciate 'craft cocktails' and these did not fit the bill). The food was average and the service (with respect to additional drinks during dinner) was not on-point. The after-dinner show was more cheesy than we expected based on the reviews. Our only reference was a legitimate Polynesian show on the island of Taha'a in French Polynesia - and maybe that is a high bar. But the Ahi Lele show was a joke compared to that show. And the Ahi Lele show was very cheesy by our standards. Do not waste your $250 on this dinner/event.

The Ahi Lele Fire Show and Dinner is a "not to be missed" delight located on the Northshore of Kaua'i. It was a total experience starting with an elegant yet casual cocktail service preceding our sit-down dinner. Delicious hors d'oeuvres were offered by gracious servers as we strolled the grounds and gardens. Dinner was the Chef's tribute not only to the local bounty but a creative interpretation of Polynesian/Hawaiian dishes. Our starter of slices of ruby red ahi with guava smoked Hawaiian sea salt was paired with a salad of juicy tomatoes, toasted inamona , and crunchy limu. The main course featured fire grilled shrimp nestled on a pool of rich shrimp stock reduction and roasted pork (kalua pig) that had been formed into a medallion and seared crisp on the ends. Touched with your fork, it fell apart into shreds of juicy, porky goodness. Dinner ended with a cooling coconut milk panna cotta with Koloa Rum flamed pineapple. After dinner, we were escorted to a huge, open air pavilion. Because there is no stage at this time, small clusters of tables for two twinkling with tea lights, groups of chairs for three or four, wide benches, and even picnic tables were thoughtfully arranged to maximize the view of the performers. A coffee and tea service was also provided. The performance itself was amazing. This was not your typical luau and show of Hawaiian/Polynesian dances. There were no guitars and ukuleles. There were no "Tiny Bubbles". What they had instead was an awesome drumming ensemble that rattled the roof and sent vibrations straight to your core. And there was fire, lots of it! Flaming torches, flaming swords, and flaming poi balls lit up the night. The skill and beauty of the female dancers and the sheer strength and bravado of the male performers was memorable. It was a show filled with artistry, humor, flames, and true aloha spirit.

Passed hors oeuvres with cocktails while roaming the gardens, followed by a lovely three course dinner - ahi sashimi with a tomato limu salad, shrimp with shredded pork entree followed by a coconut panna cotta. After dark, a short stroll to the stage area for a unique Polynesian fire dance show. All in all a wonderful, intimate (<50 people) evening for a unique Kauai experience. Fixed price including gratuity not inexpensive but a great deal.

The location, staff and food were excellent! Enjoyed the light appetizers offered by staff walking among the guests. They also offered to refill our drinks. The ahi, pulled-pork and panna cotta were fantastic! We visited in August so we knew humidity would be high with open-air dining. The ceiling fans helped with the temp and bugs. The show was a new experience and BETTER than a traditional luau. It felt more intimate with a group of (roughly) 50 people. Would highly recommend for those who enjoy Asian inspired cuisine.

Beautiful spot, friendly staff but overall disappointed with the food. Appetizers were good, but main entrées were disappointing. Sashimi fish was warm, as was the salad that was the first course. Expected cold fish and salad. Pork seemed to have been reheated as if a leftover (somewhat dry) and other food was bland. Portions rather small. Dessert had little to no taste. Fire show was good. For $125 each, I expected a lot more from the food served. Service was good and folks there super friendly.

Nice food, Nice server, Nice atmosphere... wildly expensive, many items at the buffet were empty or so near empty if one of our group chose that item, no one else in the group would be able to try it. My youngest loved the generous sized shrimp, my omelet was nice too. Overall, this was just far too pricey.

Outstanding! From the intriguing and delicious cocktails before dinner to the 3-course meal to the mesmerizing outdoor fire show done by a local family, what a wonderful evening had by all! Don't miss the chance to experience this! Better than a luau! Can't wait to try their Sunday brunch and some of the other events at Common Ground!

The location is gorgeous, tucked into an organic farm on the Northshore set up beautifully for outdoor events. The venue is perfect rain or shine. The appetizers were outstanding and the meal was a delicious gourmet adaptation of traditional luau fare. There was a short walk after dinner to an open field with views of the mountains and covered seating for guests with clear views of the raised stage. The story was beautifully told by the master of ceremonies who is himself one of the accomplished dancers. The dancing by the talented men and women was beautiful and exciting with plenty of variation to keep even smaller children entertained. We walked away at the end of the night having met our favorite dancers and were encouraged to take pictures with them to share with friends. What a unique treat!
