Only criticism would be service. We waited 1-1/4 for lunch to reach table. Finally had to ask where our lunch was as other people came in about 1/2 hour after us and were eating. Waitress said something went wrong in kitchen and orders weren’t going through. Service was too long.
Halibut was overcooked and the pasta dishes lacked flavour. Expensive for the portion size. The hot sauce was make inhouse - that was amazing.
We always enjoy your restaurant
The noise level was exceptionally louder than usual.
The food and service was great as usual
This was our third time to Kitchen76, we were extremely disappointed in the prices on the menu. $30 is way to much for pasta. $49 for the steak dinner is not reasonable. This will be our last time to Kitchen76.
Outstanding food and professional service. Ambiance is perfect and the staff and menu never disappoint. Thank you for a lovely dinner and wonderful customer service. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived as returning guests....just a lovely dinner evening.
Always a fantastic!! We have been a number of times and will be back again! Staff is amazing!
Wonderful experience with friends for lunch. Our waiter was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed the menu, wine, and view of the vineyard.
While I found the food ok I was not overimpressed with the tagliatelle/shrimp/tomato. Polenta, the comfort food of once the poor, was also pretty pricey for it’s simple appetizer. It’s not that it was served with melted taleggio and mushrooms but a very simple and quick dish. As an appetizer I found it very generous. Thankfully the waitress suggested we order one vs. two. I would think having even two pieces with a bit more pizzaz people could easily order one each with perhaps have a lower entry price.
While the ambience was great I felt the food and in particular the wine very expensive...$18 for 5 ozs. and bottles were $50...$60 and up. I would have thought being a winery a more reasonable price on the wine. While it might have been more worthwhike to order a bottle vs individual drinks we were just 2 so a bottle would have been too much. The server did say we could take the rest home if we ordered a bottle. We prefer not to drive home with a half bottle of wine even though it may be sealed.
Price aside in all fairness both my husband and I thought the wine was very good.
Very average food. Good wine, but too expensive for what you get. I would not recommend the restaurant, which is unfortunate because it once had very good reviews. I guess they got rid of the original chef.
Overpriced and food was underwhelming but the service and ambiance were excellent
good service, average food at half the price, way too loud
At least Kitchen 76 is a spectacular venue.
Beautiful environment. Décor is really fabulous. Attention to detail everywhere. Service in the restaurant was fantastic and the meal was great.
Lovely brunch accompanied by some very fine wine on a crisp fall day! The Eleventh Post red is a must-try!
First time at Kitchen76. As soon as we walked in we knew the place was going to be loud, and it was. We were seated and served promptly. The food was good, not great (I had the sausage pizza and the sausage was a little cold on the inside) and not worth the cost. The place was spectacular, from the drive in to the restaurant. We felt, as the evening wore off and the place was getting busier, they wanted to turn tables over to get the new people in. Overall, it was okay. Great place if you go as a group, not so much for a date and you want a less noisy atmosphere. Would we go again, likely not. We think you should experience it.
Food was very good. However, for the money, I can get better value elsewhere. A 5 oz. glass of wine for $15-17 too expensive. I ordered a draft beer at fair value $8.75. I noticed many other customers did the same, probably for the same reason. If you wanted me to buy some of your wine you should have made the price a little more affordable. Also there was no welcoming simple appetizer like for example, some bread and oil/pepper/ dip.
Also, the ambiance was too noisy ( some baffles in the ceiling or other method could have reduced the noise). Ambiance is not comparable to other high class restaurants to which this ones aspires to be.
The outside locale was very inviting but we were not able to use it due to the cold weather.
Beautiful location & great food
Would definitely recommend
Good food and atmoshphere. We were able to use the outdoor patio.
Thank you for another delicious dinner. You did not disappoint!! Your items always taste so fresh. Stephanie was excellent she served us the first time we were there 3 yrs ago and last night again on our 3rd Anniversary. Looking forward to our next visit.
We were very late for our reservation and they kindly still
accommodated us! We’ve eaten there before and the food is good but what makes it so special is the excellent service and ambience. We will continue to go back and recommend it!
Amazing food. Pizza was really special with great sauce made from scratch and dough that was crisp and thin. We tried the Mushroom and Margarita. We also had the Polenta. My wife who makes her own very special polenta said this was the best she had ever had. Service was excellent too attentive but not overbearing and very friendly.
This was truly one of the best lunches I have ever had. I had butternut squash soup and the pear and prosciutto pizza. Outstanding!
Food, service and ambience were excellent. We went for our 12th Anniversary and indicated so at the time of booking the online reservation. Not that I expected red carpet service but typically for a special occasion dining experience, the finer restaurants acknowledge this with some small gesture. This was not the case here.
Romance for our 40th wedding anniversary. It was perfece.
Nice restaurant setting in an over sized building, very good food, attentive service. Loved the unoaked chardonnay. BUT, WAY TOO NOISY. In contrast, Peller the next night was perfect.
Your survey did not ask my age... the relevant point is too old to enjoy shouting at dinner.
My favorite pizza, possibly ever. This restaurant has made it into my yearly rotation when I visit NOTL!
Lovely place to take out of town relatives for a special lunch.
Service was fantastic and we loved the pizza! Beautiful spot too! Great wine!
Stephanie our waitress was very personable and helpful.
The food was incredible! Quality versus quantity... polenta sticks, burrata the best we have ever had and pizza was amazing as well... Definitely worth the drive! Can’t wait to go back.
Wines were spectacular - but unreasonably overpriced. Compared to top rated French and Italians at 30% less cost
The food: for an Italian restaurant, and I’m Italian, the food was under-par. The Bolognese sauce was thin and the pasta vas over cooked- two sins of pasta cooking.
The restaurant was 1/3 capacity but the noise level was High.
This played like a tourist trap restaurant rather than a good - fine dining experience.
We golfed in niagara and traveled from Toronto to dine at Two sisters - not sure I’d do it again
Second time there. Elegant ambience yet can dress casual. Excellent menu options. Our waitress was superb and very wine knowledgeable, helping us navigate through an appropriate local wine selection.
Usually do not have dessert, but could not resist from the choices available.
Incredible service and food.. definitely worth the wait!
Can’t wait to return on our next visit to wine country!
Everything about this place is incredible! Amazing service and the wine, appetizers, and entrees were so good. Will definitely be coming back. Hopefully we’ll have room for dessert next time.
The soup was delicious. We really enjoyed the white chocolate cheesecake with peach sauce. Their Reisling was very nice. The shrimp dish was cooked perfectly. The sauce on the pasta was good but not enough for the dish. We had a seat by the fireplace which was wonderful on a cold rainy night. Would recommend this restaurant as we really enjoyed the dining experience.
Our children gave us a gift certificate for dinner. Wonderful food great service. Very expensive but worth it for our 35th anniversary and husbands 65th birthday. We arrived too late for a wine tasting. They changed over to their fall hours. Closed at 6pm . A beautiful place.
It was my family and my first time going to Kitchen 76 and we would definitely (and plan too) go again. The food was fantastic, the service was extraordinary , and the overall atmosphere was terrific. It was a first class dining experience. The wait staff were extremely knowledgeable , not only about the wine, of course but also about the dishes being prepared.
Absolutely delightful. Staff and scenery are great. Great service and wonderful ambiance.
Phenomenal. A must go if visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake.
