   Very friendly and timely customer service. The tuna was so fresh and the French dip for the non sushi fans hit the spot.

   First time at Kona. Felt rushed, appetizers and main course came out at the same time. Wasn’t offered dessert or another cocktail. Didn’t seem overly busy (sat. After St. Patty) in and out in under 45min. Didn’t make for a good date night. Disappointed.

   Unfortunately quality has fallen off but prices keep increasing. Calamari was very over cooked and rubbery. Got the Asian salad and with chicken which was also over cooked and under seasoned. Kids bento box was the best value for our meal.

   Our first and probably last. Our Waitress just literally never came around except to all the tables next to us. The couple that joined had to wait 30 min for a drink that was after they didn't have the first 3 drinks ordered. Mind you all of these items were on menu. Finally after waiting forever member of our party just had to go to bar himself. Three tables that came after us all had food long before us. Sushi was ok but definitely not worth the hassle.

    Came in with my daughter for a quick bite to eat. Promptly sat, waited 25 minutes and no one even came over to get us a water. At one point I told the hostess no one had come over and she said she would get a server, and again - no one ever came over. There was a table of two ladies sitting right next to us who even mentioned to my daughter, and I how terrible it was, and questioned if anybody was ever going to come wait on us. They also let us know that they had a bad experience as well. So I guess it wasn’t just us. The place wasn’t even busy and there were a ton of servers also. We eventually left and went over to Bravo where we had a much better experience. Will never come back to this place.

    We sat at the bar, and were there for two hours and had to flag the bartender down to get ANY attention. They broke a wine bottle on the ground shortly after we got there and they just stepped over the broken glass for the rest of the evening 🤯. They left the fridge doors open, saw glasses go uncleaned. The seats next to us had dirty glasses and plates left there the entire two hours we were there. If their front of house is that filthy and poorly run, I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like 🤮

    Have always loved the ambiance and food at Kona but this visit was super sub par with only a half full capacity. The food was good but not great as we’ve come to expect. The service was, well, absent. It took at least 15 minutes to get a server to acknowledge our table presence and could not seem to get one drink order (a dirty martini with blue cheese olives) correct. Once our food was delivered (after a sneeze from the server while holding our food), we were left hanging to get refills of drinks and a requested condiment. Once food was delivered, we did not see a server ever again during our meal until a final “need anything else” comment. Asked for the check and he promoted us toward the little table top kiosk to pay at the table and off he went. He literally had two tables that we could see! This fellow just was not trained very well. The table next to us had the manager out to their table twice for wrong orders and wrong drinks. Not a good experience and really disappointed our once high praise for Kona! Hope it was an off night and not a sign of deterioration of a once revered eating establishment.

    Another one bites the dust! This place was awful. Overcooked salmon, fried rice was def not fried rice, lukewarm food (including sushi) very slow service and food took a long time to arrive. $145 down the drain. Don't do it!

    Very Limited Menu Valentines Weekend disappointing; Reservations were 40 minutes behind scheduled time set. Restaurant was over busy which resulted in server delays and appetizers ordered not received. I.e. Had to flag down staff for Silverware, drink refills, and to get our check. Brought us wrong appetizer, never showed back up with corrected one. Had to ask them to remove from our bill vs. Staff proactively handling same. While we love Kona and their food, this evening was a hot mess.

    It didn’t matter that we had a reservation because we had a long wait. Just a heads up for anyone that you may still have to wait on busy Saturday nights. We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time and then my food came out 20 minutes after my family’s. Our waiter was awesome and running his tail off. It seemed they were short staffed and overwhelmed. I love Kona and will come back but will not on the weekends.

    This was a frequent date night stop but I think this will be our last visit. Their menu has become very limited and they have removed some of our favorite sides. They also stopped offering sushi with the surf and turf pairing and its now limited to one steak option. Bring back the brussel sprouts, garlic potatoes and filet minon.

    The food was good, but a few things could have been better. It’s only fair to be more judgmental of the product when it is as costly as this was. Our waitress was very friendly, and the environment is better than average.

    The server was amazing with a great personality. Very attentive and I loved that she had tasted every single item on the menu. The food was ok, we had the lime cilantro chicken with turmeric rice. The chicken was over cooked and the rice was very dry. Overall the food was edible and had good portions. I appreciate that the booths still have the plastic dividers from COVID. Overall it was a good experience.

    The food & service were great! However, this restaurant was out of several beverages that we requested from the bar menu. Each time the waiter went to see if there was a particular beer or seltzer, he returned to let us know that they were out.

    The waitress either had too many tables or was slow. From sitting down to getting food (appetizers mainly) it was 50 minutes. The equipment on the table was awkward for paying bills with 8 of us … took much longer than needed. I had spoken with someone the day before about a special birthday dessert and there was no record of it so I had to go request it again. The food was very good.

    Reserving through Opentable was easy!! Went on New Year’s Eve night- didn’t get sat till one hour after the reserved time.. this was sort of expected, so we didn’t mind! Once we got to our table, the service was terrible!! We didn’t get greeted by our server for over 10min. We were all ready to order and did so immediately. Got drinks and waters when we got our food, had to get our own silverware and napkins. Server finally came back when she saw we had our food, and decided to talk and complain about corporate the whole time we ate, she didn’t get the hint to walk away. We asked for our bills and she laughed, but then we sat and waited another 20+min to get the bills. There was only 6 of us, and we told her how to split at the beginning. We understand it was busy, but she didn’t seem to want to be there or make money, said she was going to leave early. Super discouraged, used to love going to Kona.

    We love Kona grill and have been multiple times. Hard to understand people being rude about reservations but also hard to understand how they managed to overbook with reservations only. Seated 45 minutes after our reservation time

    I made a reservation for 7pm and was not able to get seated until 7:50pm. I had to ask other people for drinks refills because I couldn't find our waiter. The food was under cooked and had no flavor. McDonald's would have been better and I really don't like McDonald's.
